How to install twrp/cwm on Australian Blade QLux (Telstra Buzz 4GX)? Want XPosed FW - Blade General

I want to install XPosed but can't figure out which recovery to install to follow these instructions:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/official-xposed-lollipop-t3030118
Can XPosed be instealled with the default boot loader on my phone?
I've spent the last few hours looking for which phone is equivalent to this and the best I can find is the Blade Q+
I've rooted it following this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/zte-blade-vec-4g-guide-links-faq-t3088770
Specs from the About this Phone menu:
Model: ZTE Blade Q Lux
Processor Info: MSM8916
Android: 5.0.2
Baseband: P816A12
Kernel: 3.10.49
[email protected]
Build number: Q Lux_T02
It looks like this phone and has the same specs http://www.devicespecifications.com/en/model/64f6331b
I can't find any information about the build number. Here's some info about this phone but not much is technical https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2423274
Can someone please help? Thanks

Try BOLT powerphone E1 (Indonesian zte blade Qlux 4g) it's same spec but different 4g band. I think twrp from that phone can use for your phone. Search on Facebook , do with own risk

Scratch that, used the drivers from the Xiaomi Redmi 2. Now have fastboot access. Will look into creating a valid TWRP image.

The bootloader is locked so I can't flash anything.

Have you tried
"Fastboot oem unlock"
In adb?

Just thought I'd update, I managed to flash the following firmware onto my phone:
http://download.ztedevice.com/device/global/support/product/741/5827/sd/2015071614172687.zip
Copied update.zip onto an SD card, booted into recovery by holding the + volume key and power button, then selected apply update from SD card.

What are the details of that image? Stock, custom, cwm, twrp, root, etc? I'm on the road and don't have the bandwidth to check it out.

It's the stock firmware for the Cambodian Seatel version of the ZTE Blade Q Lux. Apart from making the phone think it has dual sim card slots, everything else seems to work fine.

Yes You Can But You Need To Follow This 1st Because if you just flash On A Or C FlyMe It Will Brick You Phone
1. Enable root or make sure you have root privileges
Enable root by tapping on Settings-> Accounts-> My Flyme-> Personal settings (first option) -> System privileges and set it to open - accept disclaimer and confirm. (In Flyme 5.x system privileges is underfingerprint and security*).
2. Download and copy the correct chid. sh file to your phone ( copy to root of your device).
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-1xFCo6OJzIUi1nNkU5WVpZaUU/view?pref=2&pli=1
3. (Download and) Launch an Android Shell Terminal Emulator and type the following commands
su
now wait until the $ sign changes in to # (it should change, if not you don’t have root (privileges).
sh /sdcard/chid.sh
x. This should backup your current/original phone ID, replace/change the ID, and Will AUTO reboot your phone After You Do This Finish.
Now you should be able to install I (global) firmware the regular way, which means via an update.zip and the original Meizu recovery. After applying OTA
Note: If the command does not work try sh /storage/emulated/0/chid.sh instead.
NOTED: YOU ONLY CAN FLASH THE SAME FRIMWARE mean If your phonr on FLYME OS 5.1.9.0C/A, PLS FLASH FLYME OS 5.1.9.0G, 1st THEN YOU CAN FLASH THE HIGHER FRIMWARE.
After that follow this phone, all done

Q version more easy, just download A version firmware then flash over it that all.
I want to ask if the china telecom version(M571C) is ok or not to flash the cm rom of moyster. As I have noticed that the method of unlocking bootloader of that is not the same as the the M571U or other and there is no TWRP for it yet.
If yes, can you provide a tuto? thank you.

Do you want to debrand to some other region? If so, you need to have oeminfo file of that variant and then download the files for new model and flash but unless you have the oeminfo file you can not proceed further.
It will be the similar process mentioned in my signature for debranding and just a change of respective files

No i tried to flash elite rom from below link:

I flashed the region patch, and now in model info, I have generic id a15 and version fw nrd90m test-keys. After this step I tried to flash elite rom but I receive error 6.
I'd like to change generic regional id with an international id and after try to put in an European stock fw

Global Rom Is Now Available!

Global Rom is officialy out!
it turns out 9.6.4.0.OEDMIFD is a real global rom with a broken modem.
just update to newer releases that might fix the issue.
You cant just flash the global rom over an Antirollback rom as the global rom doesnt have Antirollback. (it will brick your device)
Guide to installing global rom on antirollback devices & installing global rom with fixed modem (for calls and internet) over china rom (no ARB): here
Download Links for Official Global Rom: here
Antirollback information: here
Thanks and have a great day!

Hello there people!
our lovely new Mi Max 3 is now available for purchase on many websites.
These websites sell you a "MULTILANGUAGE rom" or "Global Rom".
The version that they sell is 9.6.4.0.OEDMIFD
Unfortunately this rom is FAKE / Un-Official and is dangerous for your device!
Why? because to install this shady rom they need to unlock your bootloader unofficialy and install a rom which was not originaly designed for Mi Max 3! this rom bricks some partitions of your device and may cause a lot of issues later! Some say that this rom may cause damage to the ability to flash roms and more onto your device or to move to official rom / xiaomi.eu rom
THERE ISNT ANY OFFICIAL GLOBAL ROM AVAILABLE FOR MI MAX 3 YET!
I suggest not to buy the Mi Max 3 with a "MULTILANGUAGE rom" or "Global Rom". (Please notice that some people that have asked not to install the fake rom got their devices with the fake rom even though they asked!)
Be patient and wait for official global rom from en.miui.com
Have a great day!

I suggest flashing the latest china beta rom using fastboot mode
MAKE SURE THAT YOUR BOOTLOADER IS UNLOCKED
download: here
after that flash xiaomi.eu rom
tutorial: here
Why do you need to flash both the china beta rom and the xiaomi.eu rom?
The flashing of xiaomi.eu does not delete everything previously installed anyway?

Fastboot china rom will wipe all partitions and reinstall them.
Xiaomi.eu recovery rom only changes the SYSTEM partition, remember you are coming from a fake rom so you might not want to have broken partitions from the flashing of the fake rom.
My Max 3 comes with this so-called "Global" ROM.
I checked my bootloader and it says Unlocked. So yesterday I downloaded CN ROM and flashed it via fastboot.
Ok, I understand. "fastboot china rom" means it should only be installed through fastboot? or its also possible through custom recovery?

MAKE SURE THAT YOUR BOOTLOADER IS UNLOCKED BEFORE DOING THIS OR YOU WILL BRICK YOUR DEVICE
Fastboot roms are flashed through a special tool by xiaomi which can be found: here
You also might need adb drivers which are found: here
1. Open the drivers file and click "y" for every option that it asks for.
1. Install the fastboot tool tool
2. Download the fastboot rom that you wanna flash
3. Unzip the rom to a folder on your pc
4. Open the tool and in bottom right corner there will be 3 options, select "clean all"
5. Click on the "select" button on top left corner and head to the folder that you unziped, select it.
6. On your device enable "USB debugging", "install via USB", "USB Debugging (security settings)", and disable "verify apps over USB" (Developers options are enabled by going to "about phone" then spam clicking the "MIUI version" until it says that your are a developer. then go to "additional setting" and you will find "developer options")
7. Boot your device to fastboot mode by holding down the vol- + power key together until you see a bunny with fastboot sign.
8. Connect your device to your PC and click the "refresh" button on top right corner. (your phone should now appear in the list)
9. Click "flash" and wait until your device boots to the MI logo and 3 dots. (DONT DISCONNECT YOUR DEVICE BEFORE THAT!!!)
10. Wait for your device to boot up
11. Enjoy!
Hi, So if I buy with China ROM (Outside China - I live in Thailand) I can download and change to Global ROM once it's released?
China ROM will still get updates, though right?
Sorry for numpty question!
This is the ROM on my girlfriends Mi Max 3.
Thanks for the info but it would also be good if you posted up how to check if the bootloader is unlocked seeing how important it is before doing any steps.
Also you state that for the people to put on the fake ROM they had to unlock the bootloader in the first place so would they then relock the bootloader? Won't all phones with fake ROMs have unlocked bootloaders?

Thanks for the advice and I really appreciate your help but could you give some clearer step by step instructions as many people are not coming from a Xiaomi world. I come from Note4 and for me to install TWRP I do this using Odin but;
1) In simple step by step guide, how do you install TWRP on the Mi Max 3?
2). How do you unlock the bootloader - I go to https://en.miui.com/unlock/ and it starts in English then the next page is in Mandarin so not good to me.
These and other basics instructions are needed to be clearly detailed in a thread as there will be many people following me with the same questions/issues.

2. You need to create a mi account on global forums and then use them to apply, assign the account to your phone in developer settings and unlock your phone after you got perms. search for a vid on how to unlock the bootloader on xiaomi devices on YT for a better guide.
Thanks for the info.

Excellent, thanks that is much clearer.
I checked this video on youtube for checking 'locked bootloader' and also how to unlock.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zL2omn9PGc4
I did not need to unlock becasue as I rightly guessed the bootloader is still unlocked. (pic attached). This is on both the Mi Max 3's that I have.
So I'll just start the process of flashing the Chinese ROM (to make sure of partition integrity) via Fastboot and then installing TWRP, and then flash the Xiaomi.eu ROM.
OK omer919, thanks to you I have flashed the Chinese MUI10 Fastboot ROM.
Unfortunately the link to the TWRP instructions is not good at the moment as the TWRP link in that thread is not working and the thread is now closed.
Do you (or anyone else) have a working link to TWRP for Mi Max 3 so I can install the Xiaomi.eu ROM?

HI,
Not unlock the bootloader yet, waiting to know if there is a stable version of a custom Rom? And then have the GMS finally working, not with a Vmos solution!
That's the right model!
Any help would be grateful!
Thx
Well unlocking bootloader for Huawei phones are basically impossible, especially if you have mediatek, so no one developed custom ROMs for it.
If you (paid someone ) and managed to unlock bootloader, you might want to flash this.
