I don't remember which LeTV it is, however the X800 has an unofficiall ExodusROM port (based on Lollipop).
And for some odd reason, the battery saver tile is actually the power menu tile, although that is a detail for the maintainer.
I' m testing it for my friend, he wants a "normal" rom, so I'm in charge of getting one for him.

Hell yeahhhhh!!!!! and this is why I love Motorola!
That is amazing news! Can't wait.
And its so nice of Motorola to put all its card on the table right exactly after the release of L rather than making us wait for even longer for any official news about the updates.
Helll yeahhh man!!! Cant wait for it to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On november!!!

So we will have two versions of Lollipop to chose from (GPE most likely sooner).

How big is the difference going to be? How soon (or sooner) will the GPE moto g get the android l update compared to the stock android of the moto g?
Is the difference below 5 days, or does it usually take more then 5 days?
Based on the previous update times ofcourse.
awesome...

It stands for Google Play Edition of a phone, running pure Android.. You can buy one on Play Store on the US. And there is an Google Play Edition of Moto G and it will have Lollipop as well.. so that is GPE :good:
So happy that I made the switch from Samsung to Motorola...Samsung will release a statement about Android L updates as soon as 2023, and only updating the latest Galaxy probably. lol

Nandroid for now until L is released. It won't take too long anyways they always finish it up quickly at XDA.
So guys it finally ehre, Im proud to have such a great device like this... And, taking into account that Moto G GPE will get this update faster, what do you suggest? Switch to GPE firmware? or not and stay waitimg for nonGPE Gs to be updated?
The best idea is to wait. Stock is so clean that it wont take too much time to arrive anyway.

[DEV] CyanogenMod 12.1 Development Thread

Hi, yesterday I started working on a CyanogenMod device tree for this device. I'll get my moto g 2015 in some days (I hope) so I need your help for some things.
You don't need the root to get these informations
First of all I need to know partitions size. You should type this in your phone terminal (you can use this one):
Code:
cat /proc/partitions > /storage/sdcard0/partitions.txt
You should find a file called "partitions.txt" in your virtual sdcard; please, post it here. (not needed anymore)
Second thing, I'd like to use a unified device tree (this mean just a build for every variant) you should report here the result of (from the terminal, of course):
Code:
getprop ro.boot.radio
In both cases report your variant (XT1540, XT1541, XT1542...) and if you have a 1GB/8GB model or 2GB/16GB too, please
Status:
XT1540:

XT1543: 1/8GB

XT1544:
XT1548:
XT1550: 1/8GB

Here there are my changes until now: https://github.com/Alberto97/android_device_motorola_osprey
For now that's all, thanks for your contribution, Alberto97
ro.board.platform=msm8916 - Same for XT1540 Retail US (1GB) and XT1550 Retail Asia (2GB) and likely all models with possibly the exception of XT1548 - CDMA.

Sorry, I meant getprop ro.boot.radio, already corrected the OP, I copy-pasted the wrong line
Nice to see the device tree. I'm working on a device tree too.
But since this is the first time I'm working on a device tree, it's not gonna be so much usable
getprop ro.boot.radio = 0x4
partitions.txt attached
XT1541 (1GB/8GB model)
Good luck!

This device is essentially surnia (2015 Moto E LTE) with a bigger screen and better camera.
@Alberto97 The CM device tree for surnia might be a good place to look to get CM working on osprey.

XT1540 8GB/1GB results: 0x1

I made it based on surnia
Only thing is, system.prop and init/init_osprey.c is missing here
I should be getting an XT1540 16/2GB today, I will post here when I do with the information in the main post.
I got this with the buildprop command; getprop ro.boot.radio = 0x1
using a 16GB/2GB RAM Moto G XT1540.
Got XT1543 2/16GB (retail Brazil/Latin America) today: getprop ro.boot.radio ==> 0x6
Can't wait to have CM on this phone!!! Thanks in advance, @Alberto97
here is defconfig for this device from stock.
and i think you can use surnia kernel source to build because i have a look in surnia kernel source...this device support is already there.
I'll be willing to test this whenever you want
thanx

Good news to all galaxy note 10.1 (2014 edition) owners, the lollipop 5.1.1 update is on the way but it will take time, also only P60x devices will get the update (2014 edition only) and they are as following [SM-P600, SM-P601, SM-P605, SM-P607T]
"The same update will be available to ALL Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition (SM-P60X) variants only worldwide. The firmware version is [P607TUVUBOI2] and the OTA package size is about 900MB in size."

regards,
That's good then. Looking forward to this update.
Lol its about damn time. I stopped believing it would happen... Still wish they would release an updated model though. Otherwise I will have to look into replacing my battery soon
...it says 5.0.2
Apart from that, yeah it is known for quite some months if you had followed that site, it's in these forums that people were blowing out of proportion little things. Apparently that's the pattern of Samsung with all their devices. When they approach end of Life they take their sweet time before updating them for one last time ... that means -sadly- that we won't get Marshmallow, on the other hand Marshmallow -supposedly- (will) have proper multitasking, so my just flash CM13 (or sth)...

If it goes on in this speed, the P600 will get it in a few days. But there is the Exynos/Snapdragon gap, so i think it will take some time for the wifi only users to get Lollipop. Hopefully before the Release of Marshmallow, so we had the latest Version of Android, for a few days
I think that sm-p600 and sm-p601 will get 5.1.1 at same date.
Because that was that happened with p900 and p901 (5.0.2)

There is probably less of a gap than you think because of the Note Pro / Tab Pro / Tab S containing extremely similar Exynos SOCs and already having these updates.

CF-Autoroot works? It went on a bootloop from hell. Perhaps I missed something?!
Need to wait from samsung to release kernel sources.
Only with permissive kernel you can get root working.
Otherwise will get bootloop.

So I noticed
I could download firmware from http://samsung-updates.com/ and DL 5.1.1.
Although I solved it by flashing 4.4.2 on Odin.
This is a very positive surprise. Thanks Samsung!
I cant wait for the update, finally is coming OMFG!
Just an advance question out of curiosity - are the official updates likely to make any difference for anything that is not replaced if you are using a custom ROM? That is, would it make sense for me to flash the update for SM-P600 once it comes out and then go back to my current ROM (@joshndroid's temasek 12.1 build), or would that be a pointless exercise?
Folks.
Samsung customer care (India) said the update for sm-p601/600 will come 14 october. (rumors)

pointless, that build already flashes kernel and system partition. The only point in doing that is if the author suggests updating the bootloader
can anyone post some screenshots for the update
mine is p601 I can't wait haha

Doing so wont help much, major custom roms like los, rr, paranoid releases general codes and developer compile them to our device.
For example rr releases source code 3 days ago and we have it yesterday, took approximately 1-2 days to come.
Los was our device was released in October only(at the ending weeks).
Other developers like aosp extended, viper, and many other released there oreo version in December starting.
Project treble will help when we have codes only for our device and not dependent on general source code.
Even though our device is now like 2years old, even if we get Android P for this device how many are going to use it till next year

I don't think Lenovo would care to bring treble budget devices ..
Considering the current development scenario, keep in mind that implementing treble on a non treble device will require a newer implementation and/or shimming of the vendor blobs which is a difficult task . But who knows maybe in future we can have this option?
Anyways stock won't get it too:

Actually not only lenovo but all the manufacturer using Android OS as there base have to release there phones under project treble.
Devices which comes out-of-the-box with oreo do support project treble (even budget one).
Google has made is mandatory to pass vendor HIDL after HALS if device do come with oreo, otherwise they are not certified Android OS for that device by google.
So if you are going to buy a new phone who has oreo out of the box congratulations your device support project treble.
Have you think why one plus 5T was released with nougat out of the box whereas 3/3t got oreo couple of weeks later only[emoji57] and yes a8 and a8+ too?

They will have to sooner or later when they start selling devices with Oreo from the get go (as in devices with only 8 and not something upgraded from 7).
I heard people install oem folder as vendor files
