[INFO][OTA][OnePlus X][build] MD5 checksums for all OTA files - OnePlus X General

OnePlus not announced officially checksums or mirrors for the OTA files which can be download by yourself.
Users are able to deal with it. They provide the downloaded files, but generally do not provide any additional information about the origin of the file, or checksum.
Downloading files it is often associated with loss of integrity of these files.
So I put here and put'll be in the future checksums of files downloaded directly by me from the manufacturer.
For obvious reasons, I do not give direct links to files, because this could make rapid downloads in a short time, causing difficulties for the manufacturer and user.
Please do not post direct links to coloros.com, because the manufacturer can change the way distribution more difficult.
I confirm the authenticity of the files that I downloaded directly from otafscn.coloros.com
In addition, I attach files build.prop.

Not enough space

Whenever I try to download a file, my phone says that there is not enough space. The file I am trying to download is under 350 kb and I have about 12 gb free on my phone. If I try to download in opera, nothing happens.I have tried it with other files as well. I also cannot delete anything, it says that access is denied.

Hi, @Sangeet007 Intriguing thread you have here!
I'm interested in this primarily so that my phone does not automatically update so many default Samsung S4 system apps, and other user apps on my 'almost' new phone's recovery nandroid backup image. This restores my phone almost to it's original state, particularly where it is not associated with my existing Google account. My goal in using your guide, is to pick and choose among my Playstore apps, along with my purchased apps, without my phone having an associated account that updates so may apps on my phone. As regards the PlayStore, it looks like the respective user's device ID and email may be quarantined within your
Device_ID 1.1_[www.apkleecher.com].apk, without actually associating the phone to an existing Google account. Does it work this way?
Holding off on this until I get more XDA member's opinions. Plus I'm unsure whether it is safe to input my email into the your .apk's prompt.
This also seems similar to http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/ mentioned in @Tsjoklat 's Thread
[APP] Android Market patched to skip self-update and remove device restrictions

This application works.

Got a bit of reassurance from fellow XDA members. I successfully used this app to download .apk's (in numerical format without the .apk file extension) from the Google Play Store to my PC. I then renamed each download to it's respective name, i.e. 262 > ES File Explorer File Manager.apk, transferred the .apk file to my SD, then installed it. :good:
I found it appropriate that this application absolutely does not allow downloads of any "paid for" apps which I have previously purchased. :good:
Thanks Sangeet007
Google Chrome has disabled .apk download functoonality
Google Chrome web browser (Version 36.0.1985.125 m) has disabled the 2.1.2.crx .apk download extension, and it no longer functions. It cannot be re-enabled in Tools>Extensions. Uninstalling and reinstalling Google Chrome web browser, and then following the OP again, lets me drag, drop, and install 2.1.2.crx as an extension, but now this APK Downloader 2.1.2 extension is immediately grayed out upon installation. The enable box is there, but cannot be enabled.
This worked yesterday upon first installation. When working, it only downloads free applications. I successfully downloaded a few free app (installable.apk's) which I use. When reverting back to stock or a different ROM, I find having these installable .apk's much more convenient to use than going to the Google Play Store and searching then downloading each and every app.
My advice to anyone who initially finds this Chrome extension working, is to download as many free apps you feel you may possibly want. You will probably end up with a larger installable library of free appw than the one I have. Following is a listi of my app library:

Any "pro", "paid", or "donation" versions of the above files cannot be downloaded even with a working installation of the APK Downloader 2.1.2 extension.
Google was free and open as a start up, welcoming any and all developers. The future of Google looks increasingly controlled and locked down.

This specific experience of mine with the APK Downloader 2.1.2 extension is a prime example. Google explains and excuses the foregoing automatic Chrome web browser actions as protecting me the end user. Total bunk!! And it is not piracy downloading free apps.:good:
It works again
As I said in previous post.
"My advice to anyone who initially finds this Chrome extension working, is to download as many free apps you feel you may possibly want."
Otherwise there is a workaround. I went through my registry deleting selected "google update" entries, and "chrome entries", after installing Chrome. Then reinstalled Chrome browser. and now can download again as per OP.:good:
Chrome extension is working

Free up 1.2 GB of 'OTA Reserved' Space on your Z Play -- Root Required

Cliffs: I was suspicious of how little free internal storage I had on my Z Play so I started looking into where it had all gone. I found Motorola to be reserving space for OTA updates and enforcing the reservation actively -- I worked around it and got my 1.2 GB back.
If you have root access you can use the steps below to resolve -- otherwise, at least you'll be more informed about whats going on with your storage.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
According to Android settings my 16GB Z Play running 6.0.1 has 9.41 GB of storage left after the partition allocated to /system. Not long after I got the phone setup with my usual set of applications I received an insufficient storage warning -- SOMETHING was eating up a ton of space.
A photo backup I had run was partly to blame and since I hadn't yet used my SD Card, this was my fault... I resolved that -- but the math still didn't work.
I started digging around until I came across a directory that I would later learn is reserved space for OTA download and cache.
If you're able to access your file system, take a look at /data/data/com.motorola.ccc.ota/reserved
You're going to find 12 files, each 100 MB -- sequentially named dummy1.zip, dummy2.zip, etc.
These are created by the OTA client, located in /system/priv-app/3c_ota -- and the amount of space reserved using the dummy files is determined by a file called reserved_space.txt located in /system/etc/motorola/com.motorola.ccc.ota. If you open this file you'll see '1200' -- representing the amount of space in MB to be reserved.
First, you should remove the dummy.zip files, but only deleting the files is pointless since the files will be recreated by the OTA client.
To prevent them from being recreated you can:
A.) Disable/delete the OTA client (I renamed mine, dropping the APK extension)
B.) Edit the reserved_space.txt file
Thanks for looking out Moto, but I'll take it from here.

The folder that you mention I have it empty, I have not deleted anything, so it was originally
Possible that it varies by firmware - can you post your About Screen / Build Number?
Mine is XT1635-01 | MCOS24.104.35.1-9
a pop out saying i have 100mb left. free some space to continue using the app successfully
how to free the space and why this pop out keeps on coming?
Isn't there a reason why these dummy files exist? Does OTA update still work fine after you delete them?

What is 'authorize' file that automatically downloaded?

I'm running Marshmallow 6.0, not rooted.
This morning I had a message in my notifications area that a file had been downloaded. When I went to Downloads to look I saw a file named 'authorize' with a size of 1.36 KB, no other information except for time of the download. The phone was sleeping at that time.
Does anyone know what this 'authorize' file is?
Thanks.
No... Why not look in your Downloads folder and see what it is, and if it concerns you attach it here?
It downloaded to my Downloads folder. I don't know how to see properties other than what I have listed above. I tried to attach a copy of it to this message but XDA said invalid file type.

Google Drive it and post a link, use a file manager app like Solid Explorer, or open it in something like QuickEdit and see what's in it.
I was able to look at the file in Total Commander. It was something to do with Comcast Xfinity. I deleted it. We will see what happens.
