Check out Here
Do you know about Online APK Downloader?with online apk downloader you can download every free apps on google play store on your coputer.
For all of us using an Android device , we already know that the Google play store limits the download of android apps and games only via an android phone or other android devices . Even if Android supports sideloading of apps and games , Google has always restricted the direct downloads of apps from the play store as apk files .
Google is doing the best to protect our android devices and the reason behind android apps not being available to download as apk files , is to prevent the spreading of virus and malwares by sideloading of apps from the outside of the play store .
Although downloading apps on an android phone is very easy , but if your data connection is slow , you won`t be left with any option apart from waiting for the crawling downloads to complete until you can use your favorite apps or games . Fortunately there is a workaround which will allow you to download Android apps and games as apk files from the Google play store .
android apps are packaged as APK files. You can use any File Manager app to copy these files from the computer to your Android device and then touch the .apk file to install, or sideload, the corresponding app on your device.

Hi, @Sangeet007 Intriguing thread you have here!
I'm interested in this primarily so that my phone does not automatically update so many default Samsung S4 system apps, and other user apps on my 'almost' new phone's recovery nandroid backup image. This restores my phone almost to it's original state, particularly where it is not associated with my existing Google account. My goal in using your guide, is to pick and choose among my Playstore apps, along with my purchased apps, without my phone having an associated account that updates so may apps on my phone. As regards the PlayStore, it looks like the respective user's device ID and email may be quarantined within your
Device_ID 1.1_[www.apkleecher.com].apk, without actually associating the phone to an existing Google account. Does it work this way?
Holding off on this until I get more XDA member's opinions. Plus I'm unsure whether it is safe to input my email into the your .apk's prompt.

This also seems similar to http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/ mentioned in @Tsjoklat 's Thread
[APP] Android Market patched to skip self-update and remove device restrictions
here:

This application works.

Got a bit of reassurance from fellow XDA members. I successfully used this app to download .apk's (in numerical format without the .apk file extension) from the Google Play Store to my PC. I then renamed each download to it's respective name, i.e. 262 > ES File Explorer File Manager.apk, transferred the .apk file to my SD, then installed it. :good:
I found it appropriate that this application absolutely does not allow downloads of any "paid for" apps which I have previously purchased. :good:
Thanks Sangeet007

Google Chrome has disabled .apk download functoonality
Google Chrome web browser (Version 36.0.1985.125 m) has disabled the 2.1.2.crx .apk download extension, and it no longer functions. It cannot be re-enabled in Tools>Extensions. Uninstalling and reinstalling Google Chrome web browser, and then following the OP again, lets me drag, drop, and install 2.1.2.crx as an extension, but now this APK Downloader 2.1.2 extension is immediately grayed out upon installation. The enable box is there, but cannot be enabled.
This worked yesterday upon first installation. When working, it only downloads free applications. I successfully downloaded a few free app (installable.apk's) which I use. When reverting back to stock or a different ROM, I find having these installable .apk's much more convenient to use than going to the Google Play Store and searching then downloading each and every app.
My advice to anyone who initially finds this Chrome extension working, is to download as many free apps you feel you may possibly want. You will probably end up with a larger installable library of free appw than the one I have. Following is a listi of my app library:

This specific experience of mine with the APK Downloader 2.1.2 extension is a prime example. Google explains and excuses the foregoing automatic Chrome web browser actions as protecting me the end user. Total bunk!! And it is not piracy downloading free apps.:good:

It works again

Otherwise there is a workaround. I went through my registry deleting selected "google update" entries, and "chrome entries", after installing Chrome. Then reinstalled Chrome browser. and now can download again as per OP.:good:

Chrome extension is working

What this software does ?
This software has made from 5 parts.
1. Rename APK
2. Compare APK
3. Find APK from txt
4. APK Batch Installer | Uninstaller
5. Backup | Restore Data
Rename :
1. Add apk files to the list by doing one of the following:
• Double-click apk files in Explorer while the Rename-tab is active
• Drag & Drop from Explorer
• Add single files via “Add APK”
• Add whole directories via “Choose Folder” (Folder history via “▼”)
• Add files from your Phone via “From Phone” (ADB connection needed)
Note: You can sort the list individually by clicking the column headers.
2. Setting the renaming pattern
Set the desired pattern via the Dropdown-menu below the list.
If you want, you can set an individual pattern by using the provided tags.
Note: <Manual|Label> will use the names provided in the manual rename-list.
For apps that are not the list, the standard label is used…
3. Renaming:
• Select the files you want to be renamed by marking them in the list
• Press “Preview” to see what the files will be named or press “Rename” straight away.
• If you want to send these files to the Compare-tab, right-click on the list and press “Compare”
Monitor :
You can set up a folder for APK Organize to monitor. It will automatically rename all apk files you put in there.
Set up your desired directory and the renaming pattern, then click “Enable” to start the monitoring.
You can now close APK Organize. It will continue to run in system tray.
Check “Auto Start” to start monitoring on windows startup.
You can check what APK Organize is doing by clicking “Logs”
Note: Existing files will not be renamed. Monitoring only works for newly added files…
Newly added apps that already exist will automatically be overwritten.
Check “Ask for overwrite”, if you don’t want that.
Manual Rename :
Sometimes two or more applications have the same label name but are in fact different apps (f.e. Angry Birds).
If you want APK organize to rename any apps differently, you can associate a package name with an individual name.
1. Add apps to this list by doing one of the following:
• Drag & Drop from Explorer
• Add single files via “APK” → “Add”
• Add whole directories via “APK” → “Add from folder”
2. Double-click or press F2 one the corresponding cell in the right column and enter the desired name
3. Save the list anywhere you want via “File” → “Save”.
4. Close the window, go to “Manual Rename” → “Load list” and select the list you have created.
5. Set the renaming pattern to "<Manual|Label> v<Version>" or "<Manual|Label>".
6. Press “Rename”. APK Organize will now rename the files accordingly. For apps that are not specified in your list, it will use the regular label.
Compare :
1. Choose if you want to compare by file name or by Label name and version from “Search with”
2. Choose the directory to compare to on the top panel. (F.e. your apk archive)
3. Add the new apk files to the list:
• Double-click apk files in Explorer while the Compare-tab is active
• Drag & Drop from Explorer
• Add single files via “Add APK”
• Add whole directories via “Add Folder” (Folder history via “▼”)
4. Press “Scan”. APK Organize will now automatically mark every finding in the bottom list.
5. You can now do the following with the results (or your own markings):
• Delete: Deletes all old files… You will then be asked, what to do with the new files.
• Copy: Copies the new files to the specified directory
• Move: Moves the new files to the specified directory
Note: You can do the above steps for files without results too by right-clicking them.
You can also load an exception list. Files that are on this list will be moved to an exception
folder on the target directory to be organized manually…
Search :
This tab enables you to do operations with a specified list of apps, f.e. if you have to install a bunch of apps after a wipe. If you have to do this very often and the apps are always the same, APK Organize can automate this process for you:
1. Create the list of apps you want to do operations with or select a list via “Select list”, if you have already done one of the steps below.
The list MUST only contain the app’s label names without versionnumber, divided by a linebreak. You can do this by the following:
• Manually add the apps with “Add”, Drag & Drop from Explorer or double-click from Explorer and save it via “Save List” for further use.
• Export a list with ROM Toolbox or any app that is capable of exporting list in the demanded pattern and load it into APK Organize. Make the necessary changes and save the list.
2. Choose the directory where your apk files are stored for the left list.
3. Press “Scan”. APK Organize will now list every finding in the bottom list.
4. Do the operations of your desire via the provided buttons on the bottom.
Install :
Installing apk files:
2. Press “Install”. APK Organize will now try to install the apps over ADB. See the log, if there are any errors.
Note: You can view details like label, package name and permissions via right-click → Details
“Unknown sources” has to be enabled on your phone to install apk files…
You can sort the lists individually by clicking the column headers.
Uninstalling APK files:
1. Go to “Mode → Uninstaller” and choose, if you want to view the installed apps by label or package name.
2. Select the Apps you want to uninstall by marking them and press “Uninstall”
3. APK Organize will now try to uninstall the apps over ADB. See the log, if there are any errors.
Backup : (Root Needed!)
1. Set the directory you want to store your backups in via “Backup Directory”.
2. Go to “Packages” and choose, if you want to view the installed apps by label or package name, or click “From Directory” to display the backups from your chosen directory.
3. Check “App” and/or “Data” for the apps you want to backup or restore and press “Backup” / ”Restore”.
4.APK Organize will now try to complete the task. See the log, if there are any errors.
Notes: If most of the backups/restores fail for you it may be that your ADB daemon is running in secure mode. This can happen on stock kernels, but also on other setups. In that case, try running ADB ROOT (and maybe set it to Auto mode) in APK Organize
For Restores “Unknown sources” has to be enabled on your phone…
You can sort the lists or check/uncheck something for all apps by clicking the column headers.
If you have checked App and Data for an App and it gives an error, try checking “Skip failure for App or Data while backing up both”. It is not necessarily an error, because there just might be no data to back up…
Requirements :
Windows OS ( In video it is windows with Ubuntu Skin )
.NET Framework 4

Glad you like it !
Those guys who downloaded, No idea ?
Is it worked ? No bugs found ? No feature you need ?
I tested it and it works perfectly as far as renaming and comparing is concerned . I would love this application to have the capability of getting the apps list by itself from the phone. And also to generate a text file with app list or an html with links in the folder with apks or alphabetically arranging the apks etc.
And ya i got some error about the aapt stuff while renaming , I renamed the apps with different tool and then compared them with this tool.
I would love this thing to develop more . All the best ! and thanks again.

Hey man, here is an Idea, change the compare module to compare by hash, like MD5.
Some people, me included, mod apk for theming but the package name is the same, maybe comparing with md5 and give an option to rename the duplicates will be cool.
Also a small request, is it possible for you to make an Android application to rename a bunch of APK in a given directory to their Application Name, like "Application Name v1.0.0.apk" or "applicationname_1.0.0.apk" or something like that? I ask this because I installed a backup software but it makes this backups with the package name and I always end with files like com.something.apk and it is a real pain to find out which file is what.

Hey man, here is an Idea, change the compare module to compare by hash, like MD5.

Hey.
comparing is not by package name, it searchs by application name.
for searching hash if you help and explain more maybe i can do some work !
for duplicates the software asks what to do ! keep both or replace or skip !
and your last request, Renaming in phone !!?

Ultra Explorer - Exclusive XDA Release Version ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Google + Community - Link
Hey Guys, I want to share with you all my baby 'Ultra Explorer' RELOADED version 1.2 which I like to believe is Root Explorer on Steroids. I released the first version in 2013 and it became really popular and many people pinged me if I would be developing this more. I took the codebase I published on github and started developing on it and have come up with a explorer that meets all of my needs. It has all the basic functionalities of a File Explorer plus functionalities i wanted other File Explorers had . It is totally custom made and has features that will give other file explorers a run for their money. I was wondering, the market has so many File Managers, some with very extensive GUI. Still File Explorers with Easy to Use and somewhat decent GUI are famous among the users. Hence i had a clear aim, to make a No-Nonsense Get-Your-Thing-Done Explorer for Android. Another thing is i hate installing Lots of small apps that clutter my Android with crap. I always wanted an application that hosts all these small apps and save me the trouble of navigating from one app to another. Thus I came up with Ultra Explorer a complete Explorer for your Android Phone that hosts more than 10 useful apps that you require for your daily needs with Android. I will outline some of the features :

Yup the new version can detect my SD card
I am on 4.2.2
Do you still need any logs
Thanks for your work
Also might i suggest comparing md5 sum in the properties for .zips
Its in solid explorer. It enables you to match md5 sum by calculating md5 sum and providing a text box to paste to compare the two values

Thank you, the app is working properly. I'll send you my feedback
When will this see a Play Store release?
If I choose multi-select, none of the checkboxes work, so I can't select.
If I then tap on "Select all" / "Deselect all" that works, but I can't un-/check any item.
It's really great! Thanks
launcher?
Thirst thing that pops into my mind is:
why would i play music with a file explorer? answer: because all functions that you could wish for are contained in this app... (no need to get out off it/close it) (?)
Is this app going to grow into a launcher replacement that also replaces other more common used app's?
@kshark27 Is there any option to keep it up-to-date online?
Thanks. I am going to test it

Great App! I like the interface, features, and icons. It can be used for viewing / files but can't use ROOT Functions and modifications.
Needed Features:
Mount /System as R/W (Can be used as Root Explorer like ES File Explorer)
Built in Image viewer
Zip files can extract now, but no viewing before extract.
Good Job.
Good Job on the new App. Can't wait to see it on the PlayStore. Will try it once I get home. But looks nice will try it.
Subscribed. .

[TOOL][NoobFriendly]EAIT:Easy Apk Image Themer

Today I am proud to present my new creation EAIT - EASY APK IMAGE THEMER.
DISCONTINUED
I don't use Windows anymore, so any support for this script/app is dropped.
Download from Mediafire or from ATTACHMENT.
I see sometimes peoples get very shocked after they see my modded versions of whatsapp, so I thought lets make something which helps to *any* normal android user to edit any apk.
Keep in mind that this is not much advance tool and won't be able to do all editing.
So what exactly is EAIT, it's a simple tool which extracts APK to let you edit images and then compress it back to .apk to install on your phone.
What you need?
JRE 6/7 -download it from java.com
Any good image editor like l Photoshop, GIMP or Paint.net
steps:
1. Download .rar from above.
2. Extract in C:/
3. Take backup of app(by ES explorer) you want to edit and move it to "PLACE-APK-HERE"
4. Run main application "easy apk image themer" from folder.
5. See your current apk will be listed on top.
6. Press 1 and enter to extract
7. Minimize the window and go to 'Project' folder. You'll find appname.apk folder, click on it.
8. Browse through "res" folder and see images inside drawable folders. Edit then with help of Photoshop/GIMP/Paint.NET.
Warning: rules of editing
>never edit "imagename".9.png files or you may get force close.
>If you want to replace image then choose something that has same resolution
9. After all editing maximize the window you previously minimized.
10. Press 2 and hit enter, wait for a while.
11. Press 3 and hit enter wait for a while.
12. You will find Signed-appname.apk in your "place-apk-here" folder
13. Send that app to your phone and install ( you may need to Un-install previous one)
14. Enjoy... and press thanks if you liked it

I've always wanted to make an inverted Facebook app, so I might give this a shot. Thank you for your work
I’m not trying to rain on OP’s parade, but out of curiosity, aren’t there similar tools for Windows already? Sometimes with even better GUIs like elesbb's GUI APK Tool
This looks like APK Multi Tool, minus all of the extra features. Even the folder structure is the same.
please help

Sure, this is similar to some of the other apk editors out there like ApkTool/ApkMultiTool but this is NEWB friendly as the op expressed. I think this is a great program for someone just starting to learn about the android os and curious about themeing their own applications. Wish I had this tool when I first started themeing with apk multi tool. Without all the fluff and extra features, this software will be very helpful for users who are specifically interested in modifying the look of their applications. Good job Ankush
Anyone have any tips on editing Hangouts.apk? More specifically I would like to modify the emoji. Does framework-res.apk need to be included or something?
Sub'ed
OK so far so good, anyone know the name or where in the APK folder (which drawable folder) I could find the background images. I am working on the facebook messenger from my Sprint GS3.
Well I managed to edit the color of one of the pictures inside an app (ended up using the clock app) and now I cannot get it to install. I deleted the old clock and tried installing from es and also flashing from TWRP but could not find the file there (guess because it was not a .zip). Has to be in system/app folder.

[Q] gapps-config.txt Help

I'm probably not posting this in the correct forum, but my device isn't on this forum so I figured this is the next best spot for general help.
So I read in the TK Gapps thread a way to disclude certain things from installing/overwriting stock apps. One major one I do NOT want installed is Google Now Launcher. Among a few other things... However, I cannot quite figure out how to create this file, keep it from overwriting/flat out deleting some of the stock apps, and where exactly I should put the gapps-config file when flashing. If someone has done the custom install, if you can post your script and inform me of where it goes (I'm assuming you just flash the zip as you normally do with the config file in the same folder as the zip), I can easily figure it out. Just not sure where to start.
I found this but I'm having a hard time understanding if it's saying to just type Include at the top of the config file, and then only those apps will be installed WITHOUT removing things such as the stock Launcher. Or, if I have to add a separate section to keep it from deleting some of the stock options. Essentially, I want the Full edition installed, replacing things such as the default keyboard. But I don't want it to install things such as Google Now Launcher, Camera, or some of the Play (Movies, Games, etc) things, but I don't want it to delete the stock camera or stock Launcher... Things like that.
Assistance would be highly appreciated.
I've now posted this question on 5 forums looking for an answer... Sure, the majority of you that read this probably think I am some pathetic idiot loser that needs to get a clue. All I'm asking for is some clarification on how to write the config file and how it's handled by the flashing process so I can make sure I am doing it correctly. For the love of all that is good in this world, will someone, somewhere, PLEASE provide some assistance?!
This is what I'm wanting....
What I WANT installed:
Google System Base
Off-line Speech Files
Google Exchange Services
Chrome Browser
Google Clock
Cloud Print
FaceUnlock
Gmail
Google+
Google Calendar
Google Calendar Sync
Google Keep
Google Keyboard
Google News & Weather
Google Play Music
Google Play services
Google Play Store
Google App (Search)
Google Text-to-Speech
Google Wallet
Maps
Messenger
Sound Search for Google Play
Street View on Google Maps
TalkBack
YouTube
What I DO NOT want installed, but DO NOT want the Stock/AOSP versions removed:
Google Camera
Google Now Launcher
Photos
What I DO NOT want installed:
Google Docs
Google Drive
Google Earth
Google Play Books
Google Play Games
Google Play Movies & TV
Google Play Newsstand
Google Sheets
Google Slides
Hangouts
Now... How would I structure the config file to do this?
Why did you even make a thread to begin with?
This doesn't belong here, it belongs at the bottom of a Q&A after being answered many many times.
Put the entries for:
Google Docs
Google Drive
Google Earth
Google Play Books
Google Play Games
Google Play Movies & TV
Google Play Newsstand
Google Sheets
Google Slides
Hangouts
in your gapps-config.
That's it, it won't install them.
where the **** is Gapps Config.
Thats what i cant figure out.
Carefully read the opengapps wiki under https://github.com/opengapps/opengapps/wiki/Advanced-Features-and-Options
All your questions like where to put the gapps-config.txt file and much more are answered there.
How can i use the gapps-config file ?
i just heard about it but i can't find how to use it anywhere

I read the instructions. But I don't seem to find the gapps_config.txt file.
I downloaded gapps for nougat stock. Please help
is there any other ways to find it
**The gapps-config file must be placed in one of the following folders:
the folder containing the Open GApps installer (takes precedence)
Now I'm going to read
/sdcard/Open-GApps
/persist
/tmp/install
Going out on a limb here but I understand the above to say you have to create gapps-config file and put it in one of the above folders.
I'm a newb but recognize file structure, so I went into the terminal type #slocate gapps-config - search returned nothing. So I have to create directory /Open-GApps-folder and put gapps-config in it, within the /sdcard/ parent directory.
Basically I create the dir /Open-GApps/gapps-config in the /sdcard/ folder. Hope above provides some orientation.
I'm going to the following:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60944096&postcount=4
you create a text file called "gapps-config.txt" and you put it in your external memory, sdcard, whatever... it can be in lots of folders... in that file you configure your install.
I am trying to install Pico GApps. My gapps-config here shown does not work... insufficient space...
[my gapps-config-grouper.txt]
# try it this way
Include
Core
# stock removals -- these would work

Amazon Fire: Sideload .apks to Kids / Child Profile

After struggling quite some time to get Spotify Kids running in the kids profile I wanted to write down my findings, as after hours of googling I did not find this solution:
Credits: Basic steps are taken from User halcion1 (look here for the PlayStore installation .apks order)
How to: YouTube Kids and other sideloaded (Google services) apps on a Child Profile
How to have side-loaded apps (including those requiring Google services) show up and work on a Child Profile. It its a processes and maybe there is another way, but I couldn't find it. Here's how I did it: Primary Account Install ES File...
forum.xda-developers.com
0)
In the parents profile of the tablet go to the securtiy settings and grant the rights to install apks from unknown origin to the Amazon File manager app.
Remove/uninstall GooglePlaystore and services in the parents profile! Otherwise you will fail later.
1)
Via the Amazon parents content management add the following two apps to the childs profile:
Install File Manager: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004VOBIE8/ref=pe_33573471_635671331_TE_M1DP
Install RocketApps: https://www.amazon.co.uk/KwarkLabs-RocketApps/dp/B088PVKBRB
2)
Transfer the 4 .apks required for the Google App Store and all other .apks that you like into the childs profile Download folder.
You can use the Rhythm Software File Manager's FTP Server capabilities or a SD Card or whatever you want.
3)
Use RocketApps to add the original Amazon File Manager app to be launchable in the Kids Profile.
4)
Install the APKs (this is where other HowTos suggest various other apps/file managers, but this did not work for me):
Launch Amazon File Manager via RocketApps. This app can navigate to the downloads folder and now has the rights to install .apks. Watch for the right order to install PlayStore. Then install Spotify Kids via .apk or whatever app you want.
5)
Add SpotifyKids to RocketApps. Remove Helper Tools from RocketApps.
Findings with my Fire 7 (12th Gen):I could launch the PlayStore within the ChildsProfile but I could not install new Apps from within the PlayStore. It stuck in endless wait while processing the installation.
