It sounds related to what ever you did after rooting the device. Have you tried restoring your device to factory settings?

Well unfortunately it maybe something with the root. So give that a try and if it still has problems then you can claim the warranty.

To restore it to stock wouldn't he need to flash a stock firmware? A factory reset usually doesn't get rid of root.

Slow Charging on Lollipop

Hi guys
So yesterday I flashed the lollipop Russian firmware
And I've noticed that the phone is taking almost double the time to charge than it was on kitkat
I already tried a factory reset and wiping cache partition but it doesn't make a difference
Is anyone else facing this and please give me possible solutions?
My phone takes about 2h to full charge. I think it was the same when I had kitkat.
Do you use the charger that came with the phone?

Yes
I use the charger and USB cable that came in the box
and I've tried reflashing the firmware
I'm starting to suspect that my cable might be damaged or that the bug is just lollipop on my phone

N910F bricked after the last update ! Help

I updated OTA my Note 4 n910f to the latest built. It was something about Samsung Cloud. Since then i haven't been able to use my phone for even a minute. It keeps rebooting every 1 minute. When plugged in it reboots but for like every 3 minutes. And it doesn't charge, my battery was 66% when i plugged it on AC, and it keeps going down like 64% plugged it. I don't know if any of you had this issue before or are having now but i cant use my phone for 2 days now. I tried to clear cache data via recovery, also wiped storage, factory reset, wiped everything but no luck. Where is my problem, is my battery dead or software issue. I didn't have this before the last update. Help !

Flash stock firmware via odin and do a factory reset after flashing firmware.hopefully it should fix the problem. Go to (www.sammobiles.com/firmwares) choose your model number and download latest firmware.
Already did that, no luck. !

Try flashing lollipop .
If the problem still persists after lollipop, then go to a service centre .
If they repair it ,well-n-good but if they don't then try rooting your device and then change the kernel.

Weird State, Freezing, Rebooting, Need Help

My Zte axon 7 for last few days has been mostly stuck on a red led for until the battery dies then I plug it in and it boots normal and functions good for 20 mins until it freezes with a red led and I have to do it all over again. I was in TWRP running linage os and it still froze in TWRP which I was suprised. Has anyone else had this issue because I'm not finding much on the internet for it.

yes,me.Also on 10% phone shut down, then i try to turn it on and it says i need to charge my battery,i ignore it.Then i try to boot in TWRP and that works.
Also vendor partition issues, other time on boot its gone, other time in reboot its back
calibration issues also here that i noticed, what more users have but not aware about
Have you found a work around for this to prevent it from happening or to make it work longer. I do not know what causes it. I hesitate to format cause I got some pictures. But I will if it comes to it.

Try to flash latest official twrp trough fastboot or edl.If it worked boot in twrp and try to backup your photos to PC/laptop.
Then I advice you start over. Also delete the vendor partitions.
Please report back here when the twrp flash and backup to pc succeeded

I will try doing this, unfortantly luck isn't on my side for this. In short I did this process 1 year ago forgetting how to do it, as well as I am now on windows 8.1 (previous Wind 7) and the drivers are very hard to get working as when the phone previously worked it would be hard to get it to detect the phpne using Usb 2.0. Just send me a tut on how to flash Lastest version of TWRP and ill do it. Also how do I clear the Vendor partions? I mainly had the intention to set this phpne up once and never come back to all this so thats why I have nothing ready for this.
Also what if it freezes while i'm usimg TWRP? I had that happen to me before

Ok what i'm going to do is erase the entire device, flash TWRP then the default Rom and see if it still happens.

u mean stock rom? what i did was ersing everything, also the vendor partition.I rebooted sometimes in twrp to make sure everything is gone and all partitions are on default size. And im glad i did this because the vendor partition showed up again after some reboot in twrp.
Then i installed everything for los14.1 (bootstack and modem) and flashed nuclearom (all default).Ive run some cycles on that and my problems were all solved.Battery calibration was also normal and good
Same issue, more details, with year old B32 system
Just want to add, having same issue. When phone is unplugged, battery starts draining quickly, in fifteen minutes reaching 70%. IF it reaches that far. Usually, battery just jumps from any % to 0! and shuts off, even from 100% charge sometimes, and can't restart phone until I plug it in. When plugged in, it shows wherever it shut down, for example if it shut down at 76% on charging it shows 76%.
Looking at posts above, I wiped everything, including data and media, did a complete reflash to B32 stock image by DrakenFX that I did literally a year ago. STILL same issue remains, battery starts discharging very quickly, then from 95% skips to 0! and shuts off.
Hope this is helpful to anyone dealing with this issue.

that must be your battery. Install Ampere, and disconnect the phone while it is at 100%. See how much voltage it reports. If it says it's at ~95% and has less than 4.3V then it's definitely just a very bad battery with high internal resistance, this causes it to drop voltage easily once a load is applied, and the phone detects the low voltage and shuts off to prevent bad stuff from happening
Does the phone look like it's warped somewhere? Your battery might be bloating

[Solved]Probably damaged my emmc

So.. 2 weeks ago. I locked my bootloader with stock rom. Miui 11.0.9.0 Android 9 Indian version. Everything went well. Miui 11.0.1.0 update was not showing in updater so I manually updated from updater. Everything went well again. I played pubg and used normally. 3 days later. I put my mom's oppo Neo 7 sd card in my lavendar. I tried copying files from internal storage to sd card but it showed some kind of error. I erased memory card from storage. But it won't get erased. Tried formatting from pc. It said couldn't format.
I removed the sd card becouse i thought there's virus in it.
Then my lavendar started rebooting when I open any app or get a call. I performed factory reset. Still the same problem. I wiped data from mi recovery. Still same. It rebooted when I open an app. I unlocked bootloader and flashed superior os. Still same problem. I locked the bootloader again. Still same...
Finally I took it to authorised service center. They checked and flashed stock rom via mi flash tool becouse why not‽ Still the problem persists. Today a guy from telegram group told me to check opening the app while phone is charging. I tried and it didn't reboot. He said the battery is damaged. I called service center technican and told him the scenario but he said the battery is totally fine. You have to replace the motherboard.
Can anyone help me fix this problem please. Thank you and sorry for so long explanation but it was necessary.
PS: I used to flash a different rom every 4-5 days. Once I flashed 3 different roms within an hour.

Amulya sir and Martin sir suspected that emmc was broken so I was worried. But changed battery and issue's gone now.
Also the reason for my battery getting damaged so early is QC 3.0 charger. I would suggest using it only when you're in a hurry.
Update: Replaced battery from local mobile repairing shop. Tested a full day. No reboots. Seems it was the battery after all.

Zenfone 2 laser (ZE550KL) in bootloop need ASAP help

I own a Zenfone 2 laser and it is currently stuck in bootloop, I did some researche and learnd I have to flash it with a firmware. I tried updating firmware using sd card through revovery mode, update was finished but it did not worked), I tried found a (I think is) a raw firmware, flashed it by clicking the command inside the zip file, it was finished but it was phone is still stuck in bootloop. Lastly I flashed a raw firmware using Asus Flash Tool (AFT does not support stock rom from official site), the flashing was also a success but the phone is still in bootloop.
And there are times that when the phone is plugged in it opens but it always restarts into bootloop after a few minutes or when unplugged
Please help I don't have a phone to use right now and I don't have money to let a repair shop fix it.
Thank you!

not yet, but someone in the other forum said it might be the battery problem. I hope not.
I really suspect that to be a faulty battery issue. Let me help you with this. Once I hard bricked my ZE550kl (3 GB) by erasing aboot partition but thereafter I successfully recovered my device and installed AEX 6.7 custom rom. Some days later my device started rebooting itself and ended up in a state where it can't load beyond the boot animation. At first I thought it might be a software related issue hence I rolled back to the stock firmware. But unfortunately the problem persisted. Then I realized my battery is causing the issue and replaced old one with a new battery. My device finally booted up and once again fully functioning. So I suggest you to give it a try. Batteries wear out over time and may drop voltage suddenly from the requisite level and may cause restarting. One more thing to be cautious about is the replacement battery itself. Most of the third party battery for this device available in the market won't charge beyond 92% and may cause device shut down even before reaching 0% ( say at 30% ). So, please try to buy from a legit source or shop that you are familiar with.
