Quiet speaker on CM7

Ever since installing the first CM7 built at the beginning of the year my phones external speaker has been substantially quieter when compared to Samsung Rom's. I have turned off the voodoo sound option to tune speaker for music, which makes it only slightly louder. On Samsung rom I was able to always hear my phone ring and incoming notifications, lately I have been missing a lot because the external speaker volume is just too low. Anyone have any solutions to increase the maximum volume of the phone speaker? Thx

Aha, I thought I was getting deafer from nightly to nightly, but also noticed the lower volume. Think that on #96, it was still like stock.
dont you think you would get more help on cm forum ?
which versions are you talking about.
I'm running #102 and do not notice anything like it.
Go to DSP manager->phone speaker->enable equalizer. Then select custom preset and increase the last 3 bars to around +5. Reduce the last one if u getting too much treble

Xiaomi MI2 in-call low mic problem - NOT AN HW PROBLEM

Dear MI 2 Users, Dont you have complains about low mic vol on call when using regular (not in speaker mode)
I have 4 MI2 phones flashed to latest version
And in all the phones i have low mic when use in normal call, when im using speaker the other side hears good even far from me, but in normal it's just terrible that i went back to my s3
If i move a bit the other side almost cant hear me at all
It's 100% not a hardware / mic problem- im sure, it's just a config of noise cancellation mod or gain value on ear mode

[Q] Nexus 4 low headphones volume, any fix?

Guys, I had issues with the speaker volume, but they somehow fixed themselves. Yesterday I tried to listen to some music and my headphones were barely audible outdoors at full volume. I'm quite sure the headphones are fine, as they are rather loud when plugged into my wife's iPhone, but with Nexus 4 I get may be 1/3rd of their usual volume at 100% slider setting.
I tried to search on the forum and Google it, but could find a guide to fix this issue. Has anyone encountered and successfully fixed low 3.5mm jack volume?
I would appreciate your suggestions! Thanks!
Are you rooted?
If yes you can try an audio mod like xLouder or Viper4Android.
If not you can use poweramp to boost everything although it will probably sound like ****.

Thanks for your response!
I'm not rooted, running fully stock. I don't really need to boost *everything*, just the headphone output, it's the only thing that has low volume.

Does Your Note 3's Speaker Distort at High Volume?

Just wondering if it distorts or not when at max volume? Is it normal?

mine does cause i have very loud sound mode
Yes it does. It is normal for this phone. HTC one is the only phone with decent speakers. I'm looking into bluetooth speakers to use at home but it's hard to know the best deal for as little $ as possible. I'm not springing for Bose speakers.
Beamed from my Galaxy Note 3
Yup

Yup mine also distorts. Viper4android has helped alleviate this problem for me at high volumes.

Increase bluetooth

Hey
Tried searching but getting no where on my phone.
I am wanting to increase the volume of my bluetooth headset. Right now it's at max but the voices are still to quiet. Is there a way to increase it.
Using chroma latest rom
Ex kernel 1.05

No! there is no way you can increase the max volume of a bluetooth speaker beyond its max limit.
But here is issue. I guess I should have mentioned this earlier.
Notification sounds are loud. Music is loud. Just voice when talking to someone is a bit low.
