None of these is a full review--they are all hands-on previews. Pretty much every tech site has one posted.

One video which could give some insight about one plus x

Another hands on video:
Edit: looks like YouTube embedding is broken, and on top of that I just realized mine was the same video that was posted right before me anyway (hard to tell with no embedding).

I just receive an invitation to buy the "oneplus x", but there is no full review yet. I don't know what to do
I'm worry about battery life. My 3 years old nexus 4 is a shame with it too small battery... Hurry up dear reporters !

I just got one invitation as well and I can't wait for the reviews to come before it expires! Anyway, even if it is not up to the expectations we should be able to easily resell it at no loss, shipping costs included.

Battery life will likely be fine - it's only 2525mAh, but it's also only a 5" screen. Based on the OPO's solid battery life (3100 mAh battery and 5.5" screen), I imagine it'll be fine.

Here's a review from someone who already has the phone:

It seems like it's taking forever to get reviews out for this device. Here's one from pcadvisor.co.uk:

YESSSSS

Yay guys, Our beloved HD2 beats the contenders in Gadget Show's test.
John Bentley even adding codicil that, as well as being a potential iPhone beater, the hardware is superior
I love this phone
any link to this show?
I'm pleased it was a fair test too, very good report! I Love my HD2
did yo have any doubts?

Clickety website. Tonight's show will be up to view soon.
Damn - was about to come on and post exactly this.
Just watched it with my wife who loves iphone
Beat the motorola driod & nexus one - and (as said) nearly the iphone. Bearing in mind the gadget show loves the iphone to death :S
Ouch...the Nexus One took a panning
Considering how Apple biased these guys are, I think they must have been very impressed with the HD2. For me, the HD2 is the best phone available at the moment.
http://fwd.five.tv/gadget-show/videos/jon-test/samrtphones
the spelling mistake in the URL is on purpose, , , ch5 have spelled it wrong
and who cares what anyone else think, I, and I repeat I think this is the best device for ME, period. Don't you think?
It's nice to see media are noticing phones other than Apple branded ones!
Why can't I see the video? Says I can't watch from my current country/location? What gives?

Also bearing in mind the review focused on two of the 'weaker' aspects of the HD2, the camera and text input, it just shows how good the HD2 really is (I personally think the camera is very good, up with my Ignito/Diamond if not better, and once I installed Swype - wow fantastic!)
I haven't had a single crash, no obvious issues with my 1.48 ROM + camera fix, totally happy so far

TBH the review itself is superficial, complete with classic english eccentricity, it's the outcome that's surprising considering the gadget show's iPhone fanboys
Forward to 6:51:30 and pay close attention to the her hand raised to her Ear @ 6:51:38 and Pause....that bak of the HTC HD2 !!!!!!
They have masked the front of the phone with CGI...LoL

the region restricted video content has not been in place long. can't see the point of a site like others that restrict viewing to the UK where it airs anyway.
I always thought that the Gadget show was sponsored by Apple as they are so biased!
One thing though...Why didn't they include the Iphone as part of the tests?? surely that would have been a fair comparison....Well we all know that the Iphone would have been knocked off it's perch and they wouldn't want to show that!

Living With The eLocity A7+

I started a blog that gives an in-deth look at the A7+ so that developers and consumers alike can check it out without actually buying the device. I've noticed that there are very few reviews or videos on the A7+, so those will be coming to the blog.
I don't mean for this to be an advertisement for my blog (it's really only temporary), it's just that I really couldn't find any info on the device, and am hoping to prevent that for future buyers. Also, if a developer sees this and says "hey! I'd like to develop for that device" then that would be awesome .
(because I can't post links yet, add the .com to the end)

Thanks, man. Really useful. Looks like 1saleaday put it up for sale again for $90 and I'm thinking about getting it. I think it will come up in the future so this is a great resource. Very detailed information.
Could you do some videos? I am wondering about the pinch to zoom. I heard it was horrible when it came out but then they released a firmware to make it better. Have their been releases after that to improve pinch to zoom?
I also heard you mention bugs/shortcomings in another thread. Could you talk about those as well on your page?

That was the A7, NOT the A7+. This is exactly why I started the blog- so many people confuse the two
The A7 had "1 + 1" input, which is NOT true multitouch.
The A7+ has 4 points multi-touch.

Are you referring to the ROMs? Because ALL the custom ROMs by Dexter have some pretty major bugs (depending on how you look at them). Videos and posts will be written about the ROMs after I finish checking out the stock firmware.

Truly epic review. The amount of time they spend is insane and the detail. Glad I got my pre-order in for the DevOne. Now the wait begins.

For all of my years on Android, I have somehow never read one of their reviews. Fantastic, more detail than I thought was possible and literally every piece of information that I wanted. Confirmed my decision to purchase the Dev edition earlier.

Wow, most comprehensive review I've seen. At first I thought it's overkill, but it's not. There's so much to these devices, the average person has no idea. Fantastic!
honestly i just skipped all the technical stuff and just looked at the pictures and videos. i skimmed through some of the other stuff and it sounds like the phone is awesome. too bad i have to wait until the 19th for my preorder to arrive.

Seriously! He hasn't ever given an editor's choice to a phone so if he does give it then it must be an extraordinary phone!
Indeed it is an awesome review. You feel exhausted after you read all these topics and the analysis that Brian have done on the different aspects of the phone and most of the time you need to read them twice to be able to understand every tiny detail that he put under his microscope!
Probably the best review on the net!
Well done Brian Well done Anandtech!:good::good::good::good:
Good detailed review makes me want to buy another HtC one!!!
Finished reading. Pretty much seals the deal for me.
Currently own a tmo gs2 fyi. Unfortunately I'm still 10% apprehensive due to historical HTC attention past product launches.
That has to be the best review I've ever read.

This is like a support video or better to say advertising clip
I don't if it s right But I can see special support from UK websites this year for SonyMobile (that i like it)
& I saw like this from French websites in 2012 (maybe this is just personal opinion)
like other websites that specially support Samsung devices (AndroidAuthority in my eyes)
:good:
I liked reading the review and several of the videos were interesting, too. In particular, I liked the video with all the Z2 video samples in it. The video quality and effects are very impressive to me, and the effects shown actually look useful and not just gimmicky.
Jon at Clove is very neutral in his reviews. Despite selling phones as they sell more than one company
Very imformative too

From what I've seen Clove do very good unbiased Demonstrations. Reviews would be more critical of a product.
To echo what phil9309 said earlier,
Having watched the video and read the blog - the blog review is a proper review whereas I suppose yes, the video is more a run-through of the phone and features.
Type in 'clove blog' into google it will come up directly.

Question Are you interested in getting the Nothing Phone (1)?

Nothing to see here, move along. Lol, just wanted to be the first one to make that joke.
So, we know virtually Nothing yet (so many jokes) but the ambition is clear: become what OnePlus used to be.
The question is: would you get one? Feel free to share your demands below.

Probably not! Let's see maybe Nothing 2

Depends on price. If it's cheap like realme and xiaomi then yes it's worth price . But if it's overpriced like Samsung or apple then no it's not worth price.

If they are going to be as 'open' as they claim to be it should be a breeze to unlock and flash whatever you want. If they follow in the footsteps of the OnePlus One and even improve on that concept then it should be the most development friendly (mainstream) phone ever.

Why be so critical of a product we don't know yet?
You just have to remember that not so long ago a large majority of smartphones were open and you could practically unlock it easily and flash what you wanted. You just had to wait for the kernel to be available.
I'm also looking forward to seeing what this new smartphone will be like. I've been on HTC for a long time, then I tested the OP7T, which disappointed me a bit and I followed the other OnePlus models which didn't really convince me.
Unlike some people, I don't swear by one brand, so I'm not really a fanboy, but I try to remain pragmatic and open to what can be offered. So I'm waiting and looking forward to see what Nothing will produce.
I hope it will be a really open smartphone so that we can integrate other external products to Nothing, according to our choices and desires.

Waiting to see the price. I have good expectations as it wants to redo the same magic as the 1+1 and on top of that they have bought essential phone assets. These were the best phones I had. Still have my ph1 with a cracked screen just to relief from time to time the itch to flash a ROM. Something my daily s10 can't do

I don't know much more than most people, but I think the selling price should be between 400/600€ for a wide price range.

600€ that makes 800$ Canadian. Good price. The s21 FE is 700$

I think we can all agree that 300-400 won't be feasible any longer to achieve flagship specs like they did back in 2014. The price range you've mentioned would indeed hit the sweet spot. Anything upwards of that will quickly have the masses lose interest. I'd definitely shell out €500 for a new flagship killer.

Already did this and got the invite code with the offer price! I like this phone with a new concept rather than all other brands competing with the camera and forgot about other phone specs!
I've got nothing to say!
