I share my Firefly-RK3288 here.
Firefly-RK3288 is an all-in-one high-performance multi-core computing platform. It features powerful graphics processing and video decoding ability, and support for both Android and Ubuntu. It will become extraordinary with your creativity.
On board is a Rockchip RK3288 processor which on initial glance has a pretty decent specification:
a. 4Kx2K H.264/H.265(10-bit) video decoder
b. 1080p H.264 video encoder
c. Up to 3840X2160 display resolution
d. [email protected]
e. eDP [email protected]
f. According to Rockchip the GPU core is listed as a Mali-T764 GPU although it's reported as a Mali-T760 by the Mali drivers.
g. Ethernet Controller Supporting 10/100/1000-Mbps
Firefly-RK3288 has reserved rich external extension interfaces, like LCD interfaces and common standard interfaces.

The Qualcomm Website, LG website (for the Optimus G), Google's Nexus 4 website, nor any reviews I've found thus far, have mentioned exactly what audio/video the Snapdragon s4 Pro supports in regard to hardware acceleration. There's the basic 'h.264 support' listed, but no mention of which profile (probably High), and what level (e.g. 4.0, 4.1). High Profile Level 4.1, for example, would be the minimum for playback of unmodified Blu Ray video. Then there's things like Hi10p support, container support, etc.
Can someone with Qualcomm dev access ferret out the actual video & audio codec and container hardware acceleration support for the S4 Pro?

Braodcom has released the EGL drivers for the VideoCore IV GPU found in the Galaxy Y family of devices, including the Duos and Pro Duos devices.
As I understand, this is quite a powerfull chip capable of even supporting display resolution of up to Full HD: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VideoCore
Using these drivers would allow us to unlock the full potential of our devices and make them snappier, while providing the following capabilities:
- Smoother UI.
- Full HW acceleration in games.
- Hardware decoding for watching Hi-Res videos which would stutter otherwise.
- Hardware encoding so we can capture video at higher resolutions. [not sure about that]
Developers, please add this to your ROMs/kernels.

Last week I had a opportunity to review media player Zidoo X6 Pro and today I am very glad that I have new player Zidoo X9. Although this model is not newest model it has huge attention for many people today.This model has high build quality because it has powerful hardware, many useful features with main features support for HDMI IN 1080P record (PVR) and USB 3.0.

Desing and build
The Zidoo X9 looks PRO than other Android media players because it is completely made of metal. It has HDMI in and HDMI out ports, HDMI in port is for PVR, LAN port and TF card port,also it has 3 USB ports and one of them is USB 3.0.
Performance strong benchmark testing
You can see that the Zidoo X9 has a strong hardware like quad core CPU Mstar MSO9180D1R and GPU Mali-450. It has also 2 GB of RAM and 8 GB storage space which you can upgrade with microSD card up to 32GB. I was watching movies, than I was playing games like GTA. During use everything worked very good without lags. Benchmark scores for Zidoo X9 you can see below.
Software
X9 has Android 4.4.2 which is additionally costumised by Zidoo, that means it has their user interface. The operation system already have KODI and other similar apps. During use there was no problems with OS because it is fast and fluid. I hope only that there will be soon available update to Android 5.0 or maybe 6.0.

Hi there I have got The Smart TV Box Super V has as engine with the new Rockchip RK3318 SoC that integrates four ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.5Ghz and a Mali-450mp5 GPU that includes native decoding of H.265 and VP9 video up to [email protected] with support for HDR. It has versions with 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 32 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand by adding a memory card in the included microSD card reader and it he is stuck on the android boot screen and I cannot find the right firmware for us can anyone help me out please would be much appreciated
