I don't believe so.. That is the type of thing that will become available in Marshmallow, with the introduction of the native API for any app to call on fingerprint verification. In the meanwhile, you can get other apps such as Applock 2 to lock apps using a pattern, pin or password. If you have a Samsung *shudders* device that app has support for fingerprint verification.. But only Samsung devices.
No idea why, maybe Samsung have an added API in their horrible TouchWiz ROM's.

Lock picker for HTC Sense Froyo.

Is there an APP like lock picker for HTC Sense. I hate the exchange security pin unlock. I have read a few threads on how to bypass it but can't get it to work. When I'm running an AOSP ROM I have a zip file I can run and take away the security settings but this will not work with the sense ROMs.
Any suggestions?

I've got the same experience. Anyone with an answer to this?
Not sure to what you are refering to. The pin lock when you go to unlock your screen? You can just disable it in Menu>settings>security.
Hope this helps

He's referring to the microsoft exchange requirement where it wants the phone to be security enabeled, otherwise you cannot access your exchange account.
This worked for me -

[Q] Is it possible to lock apps with a fingerprint?

Is it possible to lock apps with a fingerprint? if yes, how?
upppp
Well in theory it is, but I doubt you can do this currently...
What I mean when I say it's possible in theory is that Samsung allows developer to use the fingerprint (they released the api), so all you need is some developer to make a security software where you can lock the app and use fingerprint to open

i checked the app. but the app offers only locking other apps with fingerprint. there is no option to lock individual data folders or files. as of now i am using es file explorer's encrypt option to lock my data with a password. but that is not a good option either, as i have to input password on every lock and unlock
i think you could use fingersecurity and the built-in private mode?

yup it works. didnt look into private mode till i read your post. sad part is that it only works with samsung own MY FILES app which is annoying. but it still does the job.
i still havent been able to find any 3rd party app that does the same.

[Q] apps that use fingerprint scanner

I just got my 6P and was wondering what real apps use it. I am a last pass user but surely there are more. Searching is a pain with all the fake ones.

what do u wanna do with it?
some applications use it for login for instance
:good:
I wouldn't mind locking down a few apps. I have yet to run across any apps that let you log in. Care to give a few examples?

I use the fingerprint scanner to log into last pass. Works great, and I love not having to put in a password so it can fill in other apps' login info.
Authenticator Plus lets you login with a fingerprint instead of a PIN, but unfortunately, it doesn't work when rooted.
I just switched from keeper to dashlane for passwords. Dashlane uses the fingerprint scanner. I was surprised.
Focus gallery has fingerprint security to lock down pictures in the vault.

Another vote for Authenticator plus. It is a much better 2 factor authentication program than the google offering. I am stock and rooted and able to use it without difficulty. What error do you get? Could it be a Chroma issue?

I'm not sure where the issue lies. I never tried it on the stock ROM since I installed Chroma almost immediately after getting the phone. In the app's security settings, it says "Your device is rooted" on top and the fingerprint option is grayed out, I can only use the PIN lock.

Are you having any issues with Chrome's scrolling performance? I found that Lastpass was causing this issue for me and I had to uninstall it... but damn that fill-in feature was great for the day I used it

Chrome seems to scroll fine to me. Was the issue you were having that it scrolled slowly, or not at all?

I was using that for a while too but the random soft reboots forced me to uninstall xposed. Did you find a way around this?

Password manager that supports face unlock?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a password manager that supports face unlock?
Thanks
You could always use Tasker and Termux to make any login use the face unlock. I'm sure a lot of apps will support the feature soon, as well.
LastPass has support for it.

Is there a way to temporarily suspend face unlocking when driving coz my phone keeps randomly unlocking. Day time it's not that big of a deal but at night, you get this sudden bright screen right at the corner of your eyes.
