First of all, sorry that I post here regarding P8 since I didn't see any specific thread for P8 (and P8 rom is also in P8 lite thread).
I would like to enquiry information from any XDA member on how to force the device to use "LTE only" connection.
on other phone, I can use *#*#4636#*#* to force this menu but the combination key is not working on P8.
Is there any other method or combination key that now working to access this menu?
btw, my device is P8 using stock rom GRA-UL00 V100R001C900141
any advices or clue are really appreciated.

there is a app called evo 4g toggle that might help you ...
you can find it on play store
there isnt any app for this device...
I tried alot of apps on my P8max but they didnt worked!! apps will crash or nothing happen...
any other advice please?

Hi,
For Honor 4c(and most probably for p8) the secret code is *#*#6130#*#*.
But on Marshmallow it is not possible to change the preferred network.

I got my self huawei p8 lite from amazon.
Excellent phone love it.
How ever its got loads of chinese apps on it, I cant delete or disable.
I maneged to download normal keybord and etch.
My question is: Is it posible to flash it coplitly and get rid of all that default huawei apps ?
I dont mind to loose second sim card as long i can use that slot for sd card.

Hello. I have a problem with my phone and have been struggling with it for some time now. First of all can someone please help me to unlock my boot loader?. I have tried the unlock tool from Huawei (page not found 404)and even tried emailing them but still no luck. I'm trying to activate dual sim. I have updated the device to a dual sim firmware Android 6 and EMUI 4.0 but that didn't work so I want to flash the device to a previous version but first need to unlock the device. Thanks. I also saw it when browsing the forums earlier today. I'm now at the part where I have to wait 14 days (created the profile 3 days ago so 11 days to go) and will post again if I still get the "page not found" error or if this thread can be closed.

I converted my mate 8 from L09 to AL10 and I had many problems.
1. I lost my IMEI
2. the step where I could not continue, was to activate the Network
3. I had a lot of problems getting back from emui 5 to emui 4.1 (I already have it)
Now, try to do the steps that you put to return to emui 4.1 L09 but I can not, I get error and from there I can not continue.
I stay in these steps, because the program does not find information in my cell and therefore does not change the values
** Changing oeminfo and custom.bin
** Changing build.prop parameter ro.build.display.id (Required Root)
I'm desperate, could you help me try some other option?

Yes,
I have the phone running, with root, bootloader unlocked.
The problem is that the SIM does not work and I want to return it to the Latin or European version but it will not let me change the parameters.

If it works but it returns me to a previous version, but it is still NXT-AL10 and what I need is that I return to L09, Latin or European version.

In its moment when I did not work, I thought to lower the version of cyanogenmod but it turns out that there was not for Mate 8 , I have looked for other ROM's but they are not stable.
I have adual sim p8 ul00 and when I select 3g mode at any sim of two the mobile network dissapered and give me no service ...please advice me to solve this problem

Hello man, post here your complete firmware, you find it in settings, phone info ( ex. VNS-L31C02B405 , VNS-L21C55B410 , etc...)

Hi, sorry, I meant unlocking to any network. And I updated it to latest software version when connected to wifi. Ive sorted it now. Cheers for responce anyway. Im just using this while I send my xz to sony for repair. Microphone has broken. Even though fully refurbished not long ago when sent it in for charging port repairing and sony customer service is terrible. Wont be buying sony again. Looking at getting the huawei p20 pro next

sorry I expressed myself incorrectly, I did not want to know your stuff, I was just trying to figure out what was wrong with the updates of your branded version. Anyway, you need a rebrand.
I think changing to the European version no brand (C432) is the best choice.
There are several guides, in which you will also find the files used for conversions.
You only know if you have a mono or dual SIM device, so you need OEMinfo and firmware version for your SS or DS phone.
Follow step by step the guide you choose, I suggest you read at least twice (three is better) the guides....
Here I place only a couple of guides (slightly different for how they do their job) taken randomly, but there are others, just use 'search' in the p9 lite's threads ...
