huawei p8 bootloader unlock without IMEI & Debranding questions - Huawei P8 Questions & Answers

Hello guys.
So I was just wondering if you could unlock the bootloader and root without sending your imei to huawei, and how to debrand your phone with a backup. Last time I did this, I forgot to backup and my ascend p7 stuffed up really badly. I really dont want this to happen again, to this brand new p8, so any detailed help would be very useful. Will post firmware version, the phone is the p8 model is GRA-L09.
Thanks

You can unlock your bootloader without sending an email and having to wait for their reply but u can't unlock without Imei, product id, and serial number. You can unlock using Huawei unlock page https://hwid5.vmall.com/oauth2/portal/cloud_login.jsp?lang=en. Warning unlocking voids your warranty.
Steps:
1. Login using a facebook account(the only working method), if you can't see the option disable any web adblocks.
2. Fill the required data in the page and you should get the code instantly. If you get an error message claiming your product id code is wrong simply follow this guy tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/p8l...otloader-root-p8-p8lite-t3164956#post62851688.
To debrand you can try to install a stock firmware for you region from Huawei support page in the download section make sure to change the Huawei page to your region.
Good luck.

Unlock bootloader
Hello
As Rashad said, you can indeed unlock the bootloader via an alternative way, and I did this few days back and it worked well, and my suggestion is you go to Youtube and search for "Huawei P8 unlock bootloader" this is by a a clever guy based in USA and goes by the name "Rootjunkey" he will also show you another videao to Root the phone....good luck mate

Well hello there guys,
Sorry for the somewhat offtopic question, but how can I register an account on huawei that allows me to login with facebook?!?
I already have an huaweiID but when I try to login with facebook it gives me invalid login... Error goes like: "user name or password error"
And I can't find any place where to register via facebook...
On a small note I tried the above mentioned steps with my huaweiID but at the end it gave me an error saying this is only valid for accounts with phone number.
Note 1: I'm from Portugal
Note 2: When I've made the huaweiID I did input my phone number.

Can I flash the ROM to unlock the phone?
Well here's what you can do:
1) You can wait, wait, wait, and wait some mroe for someone to even attempt this
2) PAY THE TEN FREAKIN DOLLARS
Do you think that if there was a way to unlock this phone, it would have been in this forum by now? Or are you on to something that nobody else is aware of?
EDIT: this is the wrong forum for this crap anyway

its not an iPhone thats why, you're gonna pay either way just get it over with already.
In an attempt to be less rude than the other poster, here's the deal.
The unlock codes are held in a database on a server run by HTC.
There is no algorithm involved with the IMEI to figure out the code.
So getting it for free with some tool would be quite surprising and highly unlikely.
Flashing the ROM will not unlock the phone.
is there a way to unlock SFR HTC Magic ?
my problem
Hello,
i´m new here and my english not so good, but i hope, anyone can help me here.
I´m from germany and i have a Vodafone branded 32B Magic.
So i had my magic rooted and had a hero rom installed, but for some days i loaded the RUU Rogers on my phone. Now i lost my root, the language is only english and the magic have no drivers installed so i can´t go on market or to the mobile internet.
Many ways to delete the RUU or root this one failed.
When i used the cmd on my PC i make fastboot devices, then comes my serial number and fastboot, but when i will type the words fastboot boot recovery.....img in the next line, it comes : downloading ´boot.img´... FAILED <remote: not allow>
What can i make to become my root rights back so i can load a custom rom back on my phone?
Please can anyone help me?
To OP, can't you even read the thread for the weekly free offer?
I unlocked my Rogers Magic using information on this forum only. Unfortunately I cannot recall what exactly I did - too long ago.
Can anyone sent me the link where can i find the unlocking procedure for my phone

Try to remember, as im using the same phone.
thanks.
Get a non-Roger/non-fido SIM card. Stick it in the phone and it will ask you for an unlock code.

Issues logging into Huawei ID.

Everytime i attempt to login to Huawei ID online to get my Bootloader Unlock Code im faced with a 14 Day Sign in error.
So i then attempt to log into the HiApp with my ID and it never logs in, it just continues to say "logging in" ... Is there a workaround or solution to this issue that im not finding? I could use the help because its become a bit frustrating because i see all over that people are accomplishing this without even needing to log in for 14 days in a row.
Maybe im missing something lol if anyone knows how i can solve this it would be super helpful! Thanks.
Which online page are you trying to login to?
Try at this page (if different): https://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin/unlock/index
If it takes you to another page after logging-in, re-access the above page.
You should then get the 'Unlocking agreement' page, where if you agree to the 'I have read and accept all terms above' & click Next, you should get the unlock code application page (as seen in the screenshot below).

I get to that page and once I fill in the details I'm told I must have that account logged in for 14 days. I see that people are accomplishing this without waiting 14 days and am wondering how I can do that myself without relying on a paid unofficial method. Ive since been able to log into the HiApp so I'm 2 days into the 14 required. I would like to be able to avoid waiting the 14 but if this is the only working way at the moment for an official code I guess it will have to do!
And what to do, if you meet this:
"Sorry, no support for the European user "
PS
And I don't have facebook log in ( some still don't want to)

Try to email them directly via this link with the following information:
For Product ID, in your dialler type: *#*#1357946#*#* (you will get an 8-digit number)
"Hi Customer Support,
I would like to request a bootloader unlock code for the following Huawei phone:
Model: Huawei GRA-L09 (or whatever is your specific phone model)
Serial Number:
IMEI:
Product ID:
Thanks,
[your name]"
Another way perhaps is to try another browser & device. Quoted from another similar thread & posted yesterday...

I had the issue that my Huawei id with Europe number didnt get accepted. I used Chrome to do it. Then i tried with Edge (Win10 Browser from Microsoft) and that worked to Login.
And i hadnt this 14 Day prompt.

I'm in Europe too & never had a problem - but I always access the site from a PC (WinXP/Win7, Chrome/Firefox).
Or, as a last resort, try the unofficial step-by-step method mentioned here (P8 requires 4 credits = €4): How to bootloader unlock your Huawei phone (official and unofficial methods)
Old/Late reply but i just wanted to confirm that https://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin/unlock/index on Chrome works like a champ (just now doing it) lol. Thanks for the advice!!

Huawei Ascend XT (H1611) - Tips for Custom Recovery and Rooting?

Hi all,
I am kind of new to android development, so I apologize ahead of time if I ask something dumb.
I recently got a new phone, Huawei Ascend XT and trying to root it.
After searching online, the general way to root is to unlock bootloader, install a custom recovery and install super su.
I got my phone's bootloader unlocked. However, I can't find this device on TWRP and Rom Manager gave me an error trying to install a recovery.
I try to search for this phone on XDA, but can't find anything, maybe it's too new?
Is there a generic approach as to what to do when this happen? Thanks!

my phone not start.
when i reinstall custom rom ios9.1 to another rom in my micromax q380 when my goto recovery mode and then my screen become yellow and start blink and phone not start yellow screen continue blink what i do now.tell me its veryurgent
From my understanding there has not been any method to root nor any custom roms developed for the Huawei Ascend XT (H1611). This is common among budget phones like the H1611, it sucks but most talented devs opt for more common, powerful and expensive devices. If you got the time and drive you could always hit the books amd try to learn how and develop one on your own
If someone is looking for a budget phone (~50USD) that has a dev community you might want to look into the BLU R1 HD.
We have TWRP recovery and root. See post 1 in
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/huawei-ascend-xt-h1611-t3507933
for instructions.

BIG DISCOVERY: Flash any firmware on any Mate 9, NO BL UNLCOK NEEDED

Hey guys. After some serious reverse engineering (which helped having my bootloader be unlocked) I just figured out the holy grail.
Those of you stuck on European B109 and want to flash to B126? You're covered.
Those of you with a Chinese Mate 9 and want to flash it to International? Covered. (But you'll need BL unlock to make it fully International)
In order to make the Chinese Mate 9 work fully as an international version (and vice versa) I need a backup of someone's oeminfo partition. If you have an international Mate 9 with an unlocked bootloader, or have received your code from Huawei, PLEASE SEND ME A PM ASAP!!
I will be releasing the method soon after some private testing. For now, enjoy a screenshot of European B126 running on Chinese 128G mate 9.

So European (L29) upgrade will work too?
Oh man can't wait
Thats great news....we are not so many at this moment thay own the device (mine is on the way Chinese 6g-128g)..
but when Mate 9 goes official to Europe (after 20 December) is going to be chaos...Im from Greece and the truth is that i didnt want to take European version not because of 4g-64g but because of so slowly updates that i had with Mate 8....thats why i bought Chinese version...Now when it comes im hopping everything works good and especially play store and notifications....lets wait and see....

Can't unlock bootloader on ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL)

Hi XDA users,
I am currently trying to root my ZenFone 3 MAX ZC520TL by following the tutorial from XDA Forums.
But I have a problem. When I try to unlock the bootloader with the application provided by ASUS I have this error during the installation :

-I downloaded and tested the 9.1.0 version who is the latest version version of the ASUS Unlock Tool on ASUS Support website.
-I am using the ROM : WW-14.10.1803.101, ROM released on 16/03/2018
-I made a hard reset but it did not work.
Thank you in advance for your answers.
Have a nice day.
Same problem here
Hello, I have the same zenfone and software, you may use App Cloner wich can be downloaded from google play however even though that, you install the unlock tool it will state that this model is not supported when you try to use the unlock tool, there are many arguments about this error starting from downgrading to very sofisticated programs to solve this problem. In which none of them actually solve the problems unless the people whe are sharing the source saying so. This is actually a very simple problem with certificates that can easily be solve by the company. If you search on the internet the only time that the clients getting this problem solved is MOSTLY through update. So yeah we gotta wait over months and just hope that Asus fix this bug in future update/ updates, and just as an advice don't waste your time by asking the Asus support team for help, they just get your serial number and tell you "our tech team already check it through asus server and your cellphone is unlocked" or something almost similar, even though your cellphone is not and there mutiple clients tell them is not but they just trust a simple server through internet connection. By the way I'll appreciate it if anyone found a manual solution. Keep me posted please.
