Hey All! Another autumn, another Nexus launch, so here's XDA's archivist-in-chief to start archiving URLs for the new Nexus phones!
Pre-orders start today so this is more just a placeholder for now, but once the phones start shpping, I'm going to need someone to collect the stock firmware information for what ships on the phone, and get the URL for the inevitable out-of-the-box OTA that comes along with it. I'll be happy to walk someone through it in order to get this thread started, then as time goes on, we'll keep archiving the OTA URLs here.
Thanks!

Hey everyone. Just a reminder that the Nexus 5X is shipping today and thus, I'll need someone to do what I need in the first post if you'd be willing. Thank you!

Just got my Nexus 5X (US version)!! Reached in a day without expedited shipping
1. Please get the value of ro.product.name in /system/build.prop
- bullhead
2. Please get the bootloader version from the bootloader screen.
- BHZ10i
3. Please get the baseband version and Android build number from Settings | About Phone.
- M8994F-2.6.28.0.65
4. If there is an out-of-the-box OTA available, please grab the URL for me.
- N/A. Booted with 6.0.0 (MDB08I)

Thank you! I'll update the first post.
Also, can someone who ordered a Nexus 5X from OUTSIDE the US get me the info for your shipping firmware, including the OTA URL. The build shipping on H791 models is MDA89F.

I'm trying to sideload the OTA zip but I get this error in recovery:
E:unknown volume for path [/sdcard]
-- Couldn't mount /sdcard.
Installation aborted.
Am I doing something wrong? I've never had this problem before.
I'm stock, locked and not rooted.

I received my Nexus 5X LGH791 yesterday!
Here are the info:
ro.product.name = bullhead
bootloader version = BHZ10i
baseband = M8994F-2.6.22.0.56
Running 6.0 build MDA89E with no update available.

Thank you! MDA89E huh? Interesting. Has anyone had their Nexus 5X ship with MDA89F?

It also surprised me!
Is it normal that recovery cannot mount "/sdcard" when I try to flash the update from it ?

Android JZO54K/4.1.2 OTA for Nexus S - I9020T/I9023/I9020A LINKS NOW AVAILABLE!

It's that time again! Android 4.1.2/JZO54K is rolling out to I9020T, I9023, and I9020A devices. D720, and M200 should follow.
If anyone gets these OTAs, please pull the filename from logcat and post it here so I can update this thread and also mirror the OTA file on randomphantasmagoria.com! Links will be posted here as they come in!
WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY UPDATE
The soju (I9020T/I9023) and sojua (I9020A) updates for JZO54K are rolling out now.
to wait too much longer.
For Sprint NS4G devices, you're really at the mercy of Sprint. Google submits the OTA update to Sprint for testing and approval. That can take anywhere from 1-2 months historically, so grab a rack and settle in. You're going to be here a while.
If you have an M200 Korean Nexus S, you're probably in for a several month wait as well since the 4.1.1/JRO03E update just began rolling out today (October 15, 2012). Like the Sprint device, yours is subject to carrier approval. Google can't roll the OTA out until the carrier signs off. Historically this is always the last Nexus S device to get OTA updates.

link doesn't work - btw, is this an update for someone running 22.21.28 to another build, or is is from another build TO 22.21.28? if so, what build?
Correct link
My guess is the original poster meant to post this link:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95897840722648255
Based on the size, it looks to me like the OTA or flash image (from recovery) from 4.4.4 to 5.0.2 official/pure stock.
Link fixed.
This updates 4.4.4 to Lollipop 5.0. This was captured from an XT1064 model.

Yes, I've gathered that much but what build was the device on that this was pulled from. Was is 21.11.17? that's important to note because the OTA files are specific to that build only. Otherwise if it IS 21.11.17 I have also uploaded the same OTA file - I suspect it is based on file size (412MB).

definitely going to - I should actually clarify that I am sim-unlocked, not bootloader. I've managed to get up to this point using all signed firmware and the right OTA file, but since I've severly burned my bridges over at moto's forum, there's no hope of me doing MFN.... so I'm going to be unlocking the bootloader shortly - I was kinda hoping an exploit-based root might come about, but no such luck! Definitely going to be checking out the CM12 builds, as well as using this phone as my first foray into tweaking , and eventually building roms. It was a little intimidating at first, but now I'm wondering what the heck I've been afraid of all these years.

Damn, they must have changed something. I'll download the OTA and attempt to flash it once I get a build number. If it works, I'll add it to the post in my sig.

Then I have no clue. And there does not seem to be a 3.1 tablet update in the developer site right now either.

I think you'll find userdata and cache won't change throughout the lifecycle of nougat. Through something like 14 MM updates they never changed (same MD5) until Nougat came (where they did change) and then through 2 releases they haven't changed.

Do It A Your Own Risk. I am not responsible if you make a mistake.
I found this method on the Internet and I applied it to my phone right now:
(WITH THIS METHOD YOU WILL NOT LOSE ROOT, CUSTOM RECOVERY)
1.Download the ZIP.
2.Download FlashFire.
3.Open flashfire and accept for root access etc etc...
4.click "+" button and click to "flash firmware package" and find the ZIP.
5.Wait for a couple o seconds or 2mins, and then uncheck the "Recovery" (if you don't want to lose the custom recovery) and "Data" (maybe on your device will be already unchecked so keep it unchecked if you don't want to lose your data) and then I clicked the "ν" button.
6.Click "Flash". Your screen will be black for a minute and then you will see a progress bar at the bottom of your screen and log of FlashFire what installs on your device.
7.When it finish flashing, your device will be automatically reboot.
8.Wait a couple of minutes (approximately 3-6 mins).
9.Your device is running the latest Android Version with the latest Security patches and you have also root back....

Strange that you didn't include a reference to where you got it on the Internet. Many times, they provide more detail than just the steps and took time create the content and test the procedure.

AFK69 shared the typical img flashing instructions for FlashFire. I've been using it on my rooted devices for months. No issues.

Only problem with FlashFire is CF himself says not to flash a bootloader or radios so when there a change there you either have to make a twrp flashable or use fastboot to get atw updated.. Has anyone used FF to flash bootloader? I'm curious....

My build number changed to N5D91L after the November update, not NRD91N. How come?
In the past there were some different builds for different countries with a different radio.img. So where do you come from?
I live in the UK.
Edit: And my radio is still 2.6.33.2.14.
Hm...I've only found a lot of japanese sites (f.e. Y!Mobile (is that yahoo?) if I search for this build. Don't know if there is a coherence.
N5D91L is 7.0.0_r21 while NRD91N is 7.0.0_r15. Probably a quick hotfix on the unfixed dirtycow exploit + other fixes . Too lazy to check the real changes on git.
Since some of us is still waiting for the ota by phases and by the time we are getting it, google already roll out N5D91L. Thus the mysterious build update emerged. The others on NRD91N will get it or probably not, until December.

Nevermind, apparently it's a regular build - see: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/help/n5d91l-strange-android-build-t3500378
November OTA patch has new tag:
Just captured this from my 5X.
Source: google/bullhead/bullhead:7.0/NBD90W/3239497:user/release-keys
Target: google/bullhead/bullhead:7.0/N5D91L/3425233:user/release-keys
https://android.googleapis.com/packa...a1f18978ec.zip
So looks like the new build is not NRD91N but N5D91L.
