If you dont know what/who your carrier is,id not go messing with the boot loader.................

I got the same problem, my sim is unlocked but I cant get the bootloader unlocked in menu service it said not allowed, I dont get it, if it´s sim free why can I unlocked the bootloader?

The only us variant unlockable is the US997 without carrier and without any other numbers or letter :good:

Very much. Actually it seems someone is working on it in the bounty thread for H870DS
I unlocked the bootloader and now there is a message telling me whenever I boot that my device has been unlocked and cannot be trusted. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

Okay, I just want to keep root, but I can't do that if I lock the bootloader. So please can you give me a solution, so I do not have to deal with an ugly message whenever I boot!

locked up tighter than a nuns b-hole. only thing you can do is sideload safestrap
Any news of the bootloader being able to be unlocked? Does anyone think that with a future OTA even that it's possible Samsung will allow us to check or uncheck the damn oem unlock box since we don't even have this feature as developer mode is engaged!? Love the a20 but damnit haven't had a rooted device in over 2 years. I miss it lol
