Any way to get an unread badge on WhatsApp icon using default EMUI launcher? I know I can do it by changing Home screen launcher but don't want to do that.

good question, whilst email and sms does show that, why doesn´t it work in WA?

In some screenshots in the market or other sites i saw some people using the GO SMS Pro and when have a sms in the bottom bar have the icon and count how many unread sms have, anyone knows where is the app or the widget to do this?

to do this i use my launcher pro plus launcher the free also has this version you can set sms count, missed call count and gmail count mate

Hey guys I added this widget into my lockscreen but it just keep showing "No notifications". I tried missed calls, emails, whatsapp and sms but nothing shows up.
Any ideas?

The notifications on my note 3 don't show. They show in the task bar but not on the icon itself. For example FaceBook doesn't show notifications on the icon for when you have missed alerts nor does Words with Friends show it's your turn. This worked on the S3. Is it a limitation to the phone or does something need to be configured? I noticed this with a lot of applications that have push messages.
This happen with all apps or only Facebook?
And what firmware you are using? Stock one?
Can you show some screenshots?
Same problem here, but as far as I have noticed, it only happens to the e-mail (default application). Any suggestions?

I miss access to already readed messages, like older SMS, e-mails, Facebook messages etc. Is any application which can do it? Not only display notification but display older messages and at the best, enable to respond to them?

If you aren't experienced developer, I'm affraid that interresting is not enough.
My idea is connecting to Gmail or Facebook or SMS application and read old messages and display then on the watch.

I like using hangouts for my T-Mobile SMS.
I go the new hangout 4.0 today. I can't figure out how to pick which method a message is sent to a contact that has both SMS and Hangouts in their contact info. It seems like you must message them based on what ever the last incoming message was.. either SMS or hangouts..

Press the hangouts icon on the left of the message text, if the contact has SMS it will appear those numbers as well. Just select the one you want
