is the roou immposible to me??? Experts help please????

hi guys i'm still in step 1 error .....untill now i couldn't flash any thing
i did as the guide said and i tried all the device IDs the the 1st step gave me but no luck and i tried to us seus as the guide said but still no luck what should i do with this stupid error:
"INFO: start
java.io.IOException: Unable to open channel, GetLastError=0
at com.sonyericsson.cs.usbflashnative.impl.USBFlashNa tiveImpl.openChannel(Native Method)" thats the error please help before i sell this damned phone

I rooted my phone today (BIG thanks to proyaz)
I encountered 2 problems in the first step ,
yours looks like you got the wrong DeviceID ,
also install Jave JDK as long as Jave runtime
also when connecting in Flash mode , try to hit enter in step 1's cmd screen as soon as the LED on the phone turned green

Im pretty sure you got the wrong device id. Have you set up pc companion and repaired first?

i didn't setup computer companion should i do it??

Yes you must set up pc companion once and repair your phone. It will take about 15 minutes. Then go get your device id from reg edit. That will be the correct one. Hope this helps

Removing Vodafone sign at start up on fast boot??

Hi, just a quickie, is there anyway to remove the network logo on start up on dhd, cos it doesn't seem to be a fast boot with the logo popping up??? It's on Vodafone and I've had it about 3 weeks, thanks all

I had that, i rooted and unbranded and it went, it's because you are on branded firmware it will always come up do you have vodafone 360 apps aswell?

If you root & apply ENG S-OFF you can flash a new splash screen. You can even make your own custom one if you like.

Yeah I have the 360 app and music app and some other stuff, could someone please point me in the right direction to root + debrand desire hd please many thanks

problem after rooting. please help!

Hi.
I used advanced hack kit to root my desire hd. It first downgraded the rom then i rooted the phone. I then installed a custom rom and it was working great.
I read that there would be an app showing which would show that it has been rooted (cant remember the app name) so i rooted it again and now i cant get a new rom on my phone. (i now know this was a stupid thing to do).
I am getting the error E:Cant open /cache/recovery command when i am in andriod system recovery.
When the phone is powered on it just sits at the white screen that says HTC and goes no further.
I also cant put the phone into usb debugging mode.
any help would be great as i have been trying for hours.

stuck in recovery...cant install cmw !!?

hello everyone
today my friend brought me a samsung young gt ... anyway .... it was on recovery mod but when i select reboot system it shows the sy gt logo and thats it nothing happens afterthat ... could u please tell me how to install clockworkmod so that i install some rom

[Q] magic totally bricked

hello everyone.
i have a big problem! i take a friends 32a magic to flash a costum rom and after i update the radio and tha hboot the phone stuck in vodafone shplash screen. i had access in recovery mod and hboot but after the upgrade everything is dead. i install htc sync i have the sdk tools. power+home/back/volume down shows only vodafone logo.works only the blue led power+trackball. the phone is charging normaly. when is off and charging my pc shows something is connected but dont know what. i read about jtag but is smth difficult. the phone is not mine so i dont want to pay a 5y old phone. any advice? thank you and i hope to undarstand my problem.

Anyone please give an answer.
