If you flashed QPST fiwl QFIL, you would have got the stock recovery automatically.
Not sure why you require Stock recovery file alone.
However, I am attaching the same as extracted from the bin file.
Please be sure that you are doing things correctly.

Actually I am on twrp recovery. I want to give my phone to Lenovo Care for repairing of the same. Before it I want my phone on stock recovery.
Unfortunately you forgot to attach file. Please attach the file.
Thanks bro.....

Idk , tho u can try at ur own risk .. I think it'll work
Download the T715 Nougat. Extract everything..
Transfer boot.IMG , system.IMG , hidden.IMG , cache.IMG only to ur tab ..
You must have twrp installed in ur Tab 715Y .. Wipe ur device and
Now just click install then install IMG then choose the files u have saved in ur tab.. You must flash respective files with the respective partition .. when u finish just boot up and you'll get nougat ..

@majorkid - which ODIN ROM version did you use to install Nougat? i followed your steps using T715XXU2CQCL_T715O2U2CQE1_O2U and the size of the hidden image is larger than target device". all the other images flashed without issue.
guess the hidden image partion didn't matter on my device... my 715Y booted and is up and running with nougat.

Great to hear that you've successfully flashed T715 rom nougat to T715Y. I'm hoping I could do the same with your help. I got a stock tabs2, which is currently on MM6.01 with security June2016 I have not odin flashed this for quite sometime now.
Could you be kind enough to write down step by step what you did to get your device to nougat? I have downloaded the latest nougat rom from sammobile.
Thanks in advance!

Here are the steps I used and they worked for me. They're similar to the steps posted above. Obviously, follow/execute at your own risk… ?
Downloaded a Nougat/7.0 SM-T715 ROM from sammobile.com
Used 7-Zip to extract the system.img, cache.img, boot.img and hidden.img
Copied the 4 img files to my microSD card
Booted to TWRP, created a TWRP backup
Navigated to Wipe and chose “Swipe to Factory Reset”
While in TWRP, choose INSTALL-->Install Image-->navigated to the location where i saved img files in #3 above and installed each one
Rebooted to System and once booted, reinstalled apps
hope this helps.

Thanks. I was hoping I could keep my stock recovery and flash this using Odin tool. Could anyone point me to the tutorial on how to repackage the stock rom (single file) into the 4 files (AP, BL, CP,& CSC) to flash in Odin. Failing this I will definitely give the twrp route a try.
Cheers!:good:

i'm using the latest version for the SM-T715Y. also, you completed Step 6, right? This is where you change the file type you're installing from a "zip" to an "img" file before navigating to the location where you saved the img files.

How's the LTE signal with this ROM? I get great signal at the moment (on official 6.0.1) and don't want to lose any of that installing this Nougat ROM. If signal is unaffected then it's a goer.

Hello and thank you very much for this useful download link
During the rooting method, my phone (nova 2 plus) became soft brick!
I tried to solve it!
I've done following steps but they didn't work (with your full rom - was linked):
1.
1.1. extract .zip file with winrar
1.2. extract update.app file using HuaweiUpdateExtractor
1.3. Put all extracted file to sd-card
1.4. power+volume up + volume down to update it but after 5 percent, appears "update fail"
2.
2.1. extract .zip file with winrar
2.2. extract update.app file using HuaweiUpdateExtractor
2.3. Flash the rom via fastboot (it completed successfully without any errors but phone reboot loop till huawei logo)
Now my questions:
1. The extracted file doesn't have "cust.img" is it OK or it should have it?
2. What can I do to solve my problem? (I've access fastboot and custom recovery)
Thanks for your patience and your answering.
Hi i have nova 2 plus bac-l21c185 and after wipe system my mobile never boots and always show error when trying to setup update.zip by twrp so please tell me if this rom will help me and able to setup correctly , if not ! So any idea will be useful .

I know I can download the .raw and extract it, but I don't have PC to do it. Using phone I couldn't find any app which allows me to extract.

Sorry for answering so late.l, but here we go.
You don't have the correct file. What you have is just a file to update your phone. You need to download .RAW firmware if you want to extract stock recovery.
What are you planning to do? If you phone got bricked (like infinite loop) you can easily use that virtual folder and use the latest available (there) recovery to put your phone in normal, trust me, it'll solve the problem.
But if you really need the .RAW files, here you can some Oreo examples, not the lastest, but also work.
ZE520KL: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Y5OVqmmAjb5PWZ6sKknzP0YnQHGyDxD0/view
ZE522KL:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DInYnZ4hLICjI_-cZ-NvUC_Vpzc_FnPO/view
And, in case you need some stock recovery for ZE520KL from that virtual folder, try these for ZE520KL:
[1803.55] https://mega.nz/#F!lw02CLpA!hpetR2-Sec1F__gHPNRE9Q!xhVEhCjB
[1804.61] https://mega.nz/#F!lw02CLpA!hpetR2-Sec1F__gHPNRE9Q!RgFnSKwZ
Again, I don't know what are planning to do, so my answer might not be useful. xD

Many thanks, I just wanted to know how to extract the "recovery.img" file from the .raw file.
But I realized that I was looking for the wrong file, this print I sent is from the stock rom firmware file that comes from the Asus website. (http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/ZenFone/ZE552KL/UL-ASUS_Z012D-JP-15.0410.1806.68-user.zip).
Where can I find this ".RAW" file that you put there on the link, has it updated on the asus website?
@mvini_ab
Why don't you just skip the stock recovery and flash it thru twrp? Editing the updater-script bypasses the error you're getting. That's how I've been doing it for years, no issues, you just have to flash magisk or superSU afterwards.

You can't find RAW files on official Asus website.
That was the most recent RAW firmware I could find.
You can flash that and update it through the phone in settings -> system -> update
Flash Tools: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzBzT9RsAkigcTlCSlZpMTRBV1U/view
Put your phone in droidboot mode by holding volume+ and power and then use flashtools.

I honestly don't know how to do it. Never read any tutorial teaching that. Furthermore, I don't have computer/laptop (poor enough for that), just my cellphone. =\
@mvini_ab
I've done it through my phone before with rootexplorer, it's annoying but it works. Open the updater-script in the rom zip, it's located in META-INF/com/google/android/. Be careful, there are two files in that directory, you want updater-script not updater-binary.
Open the file with a text editor, delete the first few lines, pretty much up to "ui_print target asus ww_phone release keys", and then save it back into the rom zip and flash it. I think I had to extract the script, delete it from the archive, and then add the edited script back to the archive when I was done.
Flashing magisk and wiping cache/dalvik is all you need after flashing the modified stock Rom through twrp.

Remove TWRP LG G6 [H870]

Hello all,
So I am really confused on how to remove TWRP. After a factory reset I thought TWRP would already be gone but apparently it didn't.
How do I do this and will I have to once again wipe everything?
Just flash the stock recovery image over the twrp image. You may have to dig around for the recovery image, possibly even have to extract it from the kdz.

Thank you for your reply!
So I've got the kdz file (H87020c_00_OPEN_EU_OP_0817.kdz) and tried an extraction tool (LG Firmware Extract) to extract the data. First it changed the .kdz file to .dz file. Then there were a bunch of .bin files inside the .dz file. I extracted it all. But I've no idea what to do now and how to make it an .img file.
I've got two recovery.bin files out of the .dz file:
- recovery_10246.bin
- recoverybak_20614.bin

Can't I just use the .kdz file to do a clean install which automatically wipes the TWRP?

HELP! Nova 3i / INE-LX2 TWRP Image

Hello All,
Is there an existing working TWRP for Nova 3i? I tried searching, I found one image that claims to be for Nova 3i from the site stupdroid . com.
I was able to flash it, but once I'm inside TWRP, the phone just restarts in maybe 5-10 seconds and just doesn't allow me to do anything.
So now I have an unlocked bootloader with no way to root
I hope someone can help.
P.S. I've asked Supersonic27543 but unfortunately, he/she doesn't have the copy anymore.

Sorry for the delay. Here's how, (Remember to unlock the bootloader before this!)
First, download the update.zip for this device (you can find it in Huawei Firmware Finder, remember to download the Full OTA)
Extract the update.zip, you'll see a file named update.app. Download "Huawei Update Extractor", and open the update.app with it.
Now you'll see a list of partitions. Extract the "ramdisk" partition (an . IMG file), and copy it to the Internal Storage of your device.
Download and Install Magisk Manager on your device. Open it, and press Install>Install>Patch Boot Image. Select the ramdisk image you copied to your Internal Storage. Magisk will save a patched image to /sdcard/Download/patched_boot.img.
Now install that image in Fastboot, by "fastboot flash ramdisk patched_boot.img".
Now your device should be rooted with Magisk. If for some reason your device doesn't boot, you can flash the stock ramdisk (before patching) by using the same command as above. (replace patched_boot. img with the image name) That'll cause loss of root.
Good luck!

Hello All,
Is there an existing working TWRP for Nova 3i? I tried searching, I found one image that claims to be for Nova 3i from the site stupdroid . com.
I was able to flash it, but once I'm inside TWRP, the phone just restarts in maybe 5-10 seconds and just doesn't allow me to do anything.
So now I have an unlocked bootloader with no way to root
I hope someone can help.
P.S. I've asked Supersonic27543 but unfortunately, he/she doesn't have the copy anymore.
