Post your photos taken with your Redmi Note 2 - Redmi Note 2 General

Hello guys!
I know it might be a little earlier, since the device is soooo young, maybe any lucky one who's got it can post some pictures taken with the Redmi Note 2?
I'm so curious about the camera of this phone
Mine is coming this week and I'm looking forward to test it!

My Photos
Hi all
on flickr /photos/logrus/albums/72157657458978308
Had to post in a funny way as i'm new here.
These are the pics i have taken with mine.

I just took some photos of nothing special, just the shower, but it is 4pm and low light indoors. I took the first photo with the Note 2, flash off, then second photo with the flash on, then for comparison I took a photo with my Canon EOS M in auto mode with the nothing special 18-55mm lense. It is a small camera with a huge sensor. No flash on the EOS M. The Note 2 .JPG files were nearly 2MB, and the EOS M is 6MB before the forum downsized them.
I am no expert, but in the first photo, there is a lot of noise and the green bottles are blurry. Also look at the ceiling fan.
The second photo is an improvement but it is brigheter with less noise but still some. The tiles are washed out and the white balance is wrong.
The third photo, of course with the huge sensor and proper glass lense is the best, the green photos are well defined, it captured nearly as much light as the Note 2 with a flash,

More random photos, first one is Note 2 in HDR mode, second is with flash, third photo is Canon EOS M in auto mode again. Terrible low light conditions, 4pm on an overcast day, indoors with no lights.
All have been resized by the forum.

Thank's zan5hin,
The second photo (Note 2 flash) is very good. Better quality than most of phones...
Tchao,

Try other camera apps?
Hi guys, maybe if you tried other camera apps you would get better performance .. especially indoors? I remember my Z3 Compact took awful photos on the stock software. I would recommend google camera and Pro capture. There is also camera fv-5. I got much better results on these. Just a suggestion though as I have not got the phone myself but heavily thinking about it.

Damn. Thats some nice looking burger.

Took by Camera fv-5 yesterday, Conditions, low light inhouse, at night.
I resized the image from 4160x3120 to 780x585.

I'm looking to buy this phone but I'm not sure how the camera is performing. I saw the pictures here and they're not bad.
Camera will decide if I'm gonna buy it so please post more pictures (uncompressed if it's possible) :fingers-crossed:

I hope tapatalk wont make the quality worse
Camera is much better than the one in Nexus 4 (my previous phone)

Best photo you've taken on the GS2

As the topic suggests, what is the best photo you've managed to capture on your Galaxy S 2?!
Examples would be great.
I'm not proficient with photography by any means, but these came out pretty good for a phone camera. I'm starting to find the following:
1) Low light pictures don't look good at all, seems this camera really needs a good amount of light to put out decent looking pictures. But, many standalone point and shoot digital cams have issues with low light as well, so this isn't all that shocking.
2) Pictures taken with flash look really off colorwise sometimes. Many times, the pictures come out with a blueish purple hue.
3 pictures: Macro, close range, and medium to far away.

Awesome pics, finding the same with low light, not with the flash issue though. Well I recently went to my sister's wedding and took what has been said to be the best photo of the happy couple...

camera quality

I got my note and it is really great but the camera is very bad I think it is a matter of configuration, because the Colours are very poor in the photos and the contrast very low
I've got Galaxy Note on 11 Nov 2011, I noticed that when switching on Camera, targeting any white wall, I notice Columns / Bars of shadows are moving like curtain or Smoke from left to right of the screen specially in a low light places, also a pink spot in the middle of the screen.
Is this normal? if not, What I have to do?
I have Galaxy Note GT-N7000 - 2.3.6 JPKK2

Hello,
First of all, be sure that you are using the 8MP / 3264x2448 resolution.

Second, clean the camera, Maybe there is a fingerprint or dust on it.
And lets see how it goes with you =)
off topic, but I only noticed today (after 2 weeks of ownership) that there is a transparent plastic film over the lens which I never spotted when I unboxed it. I've taken quite a few photos and I had not noticed any quality issues - in fact I was very pleased with the crisp clear images it was producing.
I'm actually considering leaving the film in place for now as it protects the lens (which is otherwise pretty exposed). I figure that until I start to notice image problems due to the film getting roughed up, it's doing no real harm I guess I should really try the cam with the film removed to see what photos are *meant* to look like before I decide on that course of action though!
The camera works best with abundant light. The outdoor picture posted earlier in this thread looks great for a cellphone camera. However my indoor pic with low light and no flash is grainy and lacks contrast.

You can not expect good non-grainy pictures in low-light from any camera that it's smaller than a SLR. It's a fundamental law of nature (quantum variations and Poisson distribution of photons). You need a big sensor and big lens to capture more light, something you are not going to get on a phone.
But the camera is good for daylight and captures colors very well (oversaturated, but you can lower that and get a more natural look).
Just to add some numbers, check this image from Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:SensorSizes.svg
Most superzoom / cheap cameras have 6 mm wide sensors. The biggest you're going to find on a compact (retractile lens) camera is 8 mm. Big cameras use APS-C (23 mm wide).
A cellullar phone has 1 mm-wide sensor. Galaxy Note camera has 8 mpixels, but each pixel is hundreds of times smaller than the ones on a SLR. So much more noise. This can NOT be solved in any way.

By using a 1/1.83" sensor; almost the same size as the sensor found in well-regarded compact cameras like the Panasonic LX3/5, the Olympus XZ-1, the Canon G12, S90, S95, and S100.

[REQUEST] Real world photos

I'm toying with the idea of getting one of these cameras, maybe it's a bit too soon to ask but, can some of you with the camera, post some photos you've taken with it, real world photos from actual owners and not just press shots.
Not really fussed if you've used the built in apps for editing the images you post, as it will just add to the "things you can do with this device" I just want to get the opinions from actual users who have spent their hard earned cash on it and get their points of view about their experience with it, what the performance is like, how good/poor is the daily use image quality of the camera like, whether you think it was worth the £399 etc... etc....
TIA.

I've bought the camera on the very first day of availability, 7th November, directly in London's Samsung flagship store at 5pm when the boxes were brought in I might be the first to have bought the camera officially...
However, on my Flickr account I've collected some pictures that I've made since then.
The lens is amazing, the CMOS chip not so, zooming into pictures details become just a mess of pixels. Or should I say mash?
But it's just a point-and-shooter and it does very good pictures at low light. Unless you don't zoom in too much, that is.

I know it's a bit apple and oranges but which one would you consider this one, or the Sony. I currently have 2 S3s in my household + my current phone is Note 2. Maybe that's a bit too much of the Galaxy goodness, what do you think?

Haha, I sold my S3 and a Nexus 7 to help fund the purchase of a Note II and the Galaxy Camera, I considered keeping the S3 at one point, as I love Samsung's Galaxy range! So now the camera and Note II are my absolute favourite gadgets of all time ツ

That's your decision... but both of them are not comparable to the Galaxy Camera in my opinion as they don't come with Android/touchscreen/3G.
I think only somebody who really wants those features will buy the Galaxy not because of its picture quality, which is good but far from perfect.

@ joshm.1219 What do you think of the camera compared to other phones you have owned? I recall you on the note II forums, does the camera perform much better all around?

Purchasing mine after work around 5pm est. My main focus right now is the camera since I'm pretty much impressed with everything about this phone when I messed around with store demo.
I'll post a whole bunch of shots and comparisons to my S5 around 8-9 est if all goes well. I did notice that reds were a bit over saturated in the samples I took at Verizon. Which was a big issue for me with my original Moto X.

Looks damn good, if people complain about that then they just need to use a DSLR.
Here is a couple from today....
Are these being alerted when uploaded? I assume they aren't 21MP files being uploaded to the forums
I think the problem is people have crazy expectations. Its a good camera but its never going to touch a dedicated camera with large sensors. I'm now switched to Google Camera because Moto one doesn't really seem to be much better.
These are using Moto camera still.
Low light shots I took while messing around with our prototype mini 3D printer this morning. Just quick snaps, no effort at all... Pretty impressive, although reds seem to be a little off -- oversaturated.

However, I do have a post with some serious concerns about the camera (link below) that I need to further test this weekend.

I'd have to say with the physical limits of sensor and aperture size the output is pretty decent and not overly over processed. A raw output would still be nice though.

LG G6 users, is the camera a lot better than the Note 4?

Hi folks, heading out today to get an LG G6 to replace a Note 4. I've really enjoyed the note 4's camera, still takes excellent shots.
Is the LG G6 camera setup a whole lot better? A lot better? A bit better? l'm sure someone out there knows
Thanks for any comment... Cheers!:highfive:

I had the Note 4, which yes had a great camera, that being said, for me, the G6 is appreciably better IQ wise, especially in lower light, F1.8 really helps. See the attached photo at 1200 iso which I think is really impressive and way beyond what the Note 4 would have achieved IQ wise at 1200 iso. And another more normal photo with great detail. That's my 5 cents, hope it helps.

Very nice! I'm a sucker for flower and pet pictures- Love shooting 'em around the house :highfive:
These were from my old note 4, but will have the LG G6 tomorrow.
Caught me a bee at work in the first one. The closeup shot you got was really sharp and good looking.
I love it for the most part. The wide angle sucks if you're taking landscape shots. Stupidly panorama can't be done with the camera IMO the correct orientation. It has to be held up and down. Can't hold phone side ways. That's my only gripe honestly.
With a clip on macro lens
the wide angle is actually fine, one must remember its getting almost double the scene with the same 13 mp hence the photos looking softer (less detail), take your P&S camera and take a photo at 45/50mm and then zoom out to 24mm while standing at the same place and take another photo then look at each at 100% you'll see exactly the same thing, same amount of megapixels covering a lot more info...

I got a new LG G 6 4 days back.
The picture quality is pathetic. Its blurry and pixelated 99.99% pictures clicked in all conditions are going wrong, day light, artificial, auto manual, dual cam, single cam.
any idea what is wrong.
I have read many reviews and videos and am sure that pic quality is bound to be better but unable to figure out.
