SGNote 2 Whatsapp group

Hi Guys
Edit 3: my existing whatsapp group is about to get full, so please Vote and help me decide onwhich app the 2nd group be ?

2. Ever member shud cum online once in 2 days. Online stats of a member will be managed and every member who can't/don't fine online will b removed Every Saturday.

Those who feel pissed off when u receive notification even if any member in GRP on whatsapp say something or when u wake in morning u see 400 or 300+ notifications. Pls stay away
As i need to add ur no. To my contact list to add u in whatsapp and when u later leave the GRP i get pissed off and i have to find u from 900+ contacts and delete u -_-

I was thinking of making a whatsapp group for our note 2 for instant help/support for any problem. sharing stuff/knowledge/screens/links apps, etc.
Also, I was thinking of making a Copy.com(just like dropbox) Id so that we all can share stuff with each other(apps can shared by zipping), apps, themes, screenies etc........
How many are with me ?? I have made a Google Docs Excel sheet where interested ppl can leave there name + number in the Doc. I will make the group once the this Thread will get approx 10 Ready to join members in it (just comment to let me know
* The Group will 24*7 online one.
* I am already managing Sony Xperia L group on whatsapp ......... so have kinda experience in this thing.

Yes. Somewhat like Chatroom.. Whenever a member of group sends message, you will get notification.

What about a google hangouts group? I for one dont use whatsapp

You have to put your nick and email adress wich you registered on OnePlus One forum this is the requierement to get a invitation otherwhise it make no sense if you put your nick and mail adress from xda.

I know this invitation thing is abit foreign for us but this is the way how it goes if you start from zero as a company to dont overproduce and to go down under ... so we have to respect this at first ill hope in future they will change their strategy.

I registered myself now over there with the same nick and mail like here on xda, so the values on the sheet are valid now.

Just use kik instead people... No need to give out any personal information besides your username, you could make one specifically for this purpose. You can easily block people and mute chats if you dont want to be constantly spammed by people in it.

We have chosen whatsapp cz its easily accessible... And everyone have it in my knowledge.
And its easy to install Whatsapp than flashing gapps. Cz most of them use pico (mini) gapps which don't include hangouts n all.

This is our Xiaomi Mi3 group...working awesome... Everyone enjoying it...

Will you please move this thread to General section. This forum is for development not whatsapp-ing. Mod please move this to General section.

IMO, there's no real point of having a WhatsApp group for a device. You can just have an OT thread here on XDA to discuss stuff. I doubt if any real development would be discussed there, since hardly any devs join, and what is discussed on the group can be done on XDA as well. I'm just saying this because There was a Hangouts group for my previous device, and absolutely nothing of importance happened there.
