Im looking for a 4.3 base rom that is Knox free and is as close as possible to stock.
This is for i9500 international version.
Any ideas?

+1 for omega, and wanam also is excellent and u can always remove knox from the zip before u flash any of the 2
for me i'm on phoenix rom its very good but not the closest to stock as it got some nice note 3 features/look

Just curious, how is those custom rom and custom kernel performance compared to stock one? Better?
How about the heat when gaming?
I have tried the Omega but for some reason the battery drained quicker than my 4.2.2 stock.
So I returned to the 4.2.2.
I will try the Wanam if it is Knox free.

If you are running the kitkat firmware with the new bootloader there is no way to downgrade.

Reboot into download mode check KNOX
i am on stock 4.3 can i update to 4.4 using odin without increasing knox flag?
Yes. Flash the firmware, modem and bootloader and you are good to go

no knox problem and i have just official pda from sammobile
Knox will NOT be tripped because you are flashing an official signed software from samsung yeah pda shiuld be enough. If you have problems then search and flash the matching modem twice

Can i downgrade from 5.0 to 4.3? From 5.0 to 4.4 is not a problem but i need 4.3. I have the Note 3 9005.

My N9005 was on 5.0. and somehow with Odin 3.09 i could flash N9005VJUBMI7 which supposedly is a 4.3 Stock ROM. Odin said successful but phone never booted up. No power key / download keys/ recovery keys/ usb/ charger/ led response. Totally bricked :crying:
I'm not sure how Odin allowed to flash.
Trying to awake the Note3 since yesterday using microSD card method, but, no luck so far..

maesiva --- you can go to KK (4.4) ... just try flashing stock from sammy mobile. If it doesn't work, flash stock 5 (not a modified rom, but stock).
PS - should be able to do by Odin.

I have TWRP and if I make a backup of stockrom then I flash CM , cant I quckly restore the backup ? I dont want to reinstall Stock from PC

CM 11 is highly outdated. We are already on CM 12.1 so no, you shouldn't flash CM 11.

@Lennyz1988: If he knew a hundred times more stuff than I, as he claims here, then he would already know Cyanogenmod 11 is no longer state of the art. So since he claimed to know so much, he should be able to find his answers without having to ask for help.

I'm curious if going from stock Lollipop 5.0.1 to CM 12 works out alright for folks. I tried it recently. Everything was working except cellular service. Was getting messages like "no sim card - no service" and "cellular network unavailable". Interestingly enough, network data (internet) worked fine. Ended up wiping everything and going back to stock 5.0.1. This was all on a Sprint S4 GTi9505 (jfltexx).
@SheepGolden: You say you have this miracle tool that can reset the Knox counter, even though Samsung themselves have said it can't be done, and yet you're here asking for help on how to install Cyanogenmod?
You're lying, both about this miracle tool and how much you know. The miracle tool does not exist because Samsung themselves said the Knox flag cannot be reset, and you don't know s#!^, because otherwise you wouldn't be here asking how to do the simple things. If you can't back up the things you say with facts, don't say them. It's really that simple.
