no knox problem and i have just official pda from sammobile
Knox will NOT be tripped because you are flashing an official signed software from samsung yeah pda shiuld be enough. If you have problems then search and flash the matching modem twice

I did a factory return all worked properly for 4 days and then the problem returned

I guess you mean the 4.4.2 update. Maybe it helps if you flash an other firmware via odin from your pc with an other firmware.

My boss complained his S4 lagged as well after installing 4.4.2 update. It's funny considering 4.4.2 is a very optimized OS.
Im selling my S4 GT-i505 and they dont want anything else but the stock rom back on it so ive been looking all over for the stock rom and cant find it, my phone is all ready for the stock rom to be flashed I just need a little help pointing to the rom

Yes will work. Chose the right firmware for your country and be happy

My country isn't listed there, so i should download Open European (4.4.2), right?
Which csc do you have then?
csc means the firmware code. You can find it out when you connect the S4 with Kies. There you can find 3 letters in brackets.

That's kind of a problem.. Kies does not recognize my S4...
Oh okay. You can take the open Europe firmware. Or you can google you country and look if there is a 4.4.2 firmware for it

Sorry for stupid questions, but when i extracted the .rar, i got 4 different files. Should i select the largest one? I'm asking, because "Step 5) click on pda in odin (if odin 3.09 choose AP) and choose the file ".tar"". And if my phone is 16gb, i don't need any extra steps or something?

Just click on the field AP and chose the .tar file.
Backup your important data before you install the new firmware. But may I ask from which country you are? I think it is better when you choose a firmware for your country, because the open Europe firmwares are all leaked test firmwares.
Edit: and can you post a Screenshot from the four files of the .zip ?
Oh and can you please type *#1234# into the dialer and post it?

Okay you are on Baltic firmware now, so I recommend you to install the Baltic 4.4.2. and not the open Europe leak, because this is a four part firmware and will delete all your data.

And search for your devise i9505 and take the Baltic 4.4.2 firmware.
I think it's the best way to update.
But back up important data.

if is rooted navigate to /system/csc and delete language.xml
reboot your phone and check if all languages are displayed, if not, an factory reset is required.
ps. how you get root on lollipop with knox 0x0?

It's impossible, because 4.4.2 includes KNOX bootloader and 4.2.2 not.

I have tried before MIUI v5 that based on Android 4.2.2 accidentally and it doesn't trip my KNOX bootloader.
Even if you tried KNOX-free ROM, it isn't 100% free, because of bootloader. So NEVER try to flash stock firmware 4.2.2 over 4.4.2!
