Podcast: bug with the resume - Elephone P7000

After trying several podcasts applications
none is able to resume play correctly.
There seems to be a bug in the library "Media Player" of the Rom.

Serious Problem with Media Player (ATOM)

I have ATOM with the latest ROM. From last 1-2 days, Media Player have started showing error message whenever I try to play movie or songs. initially when playing music, player started jumping from one song to the next after playing particular song for 4-5 seconds. Now when playing movie or song after 5-6 seconds Media Player shows following message " Not enough storage is available to complete this operation". I uninstalled the spb phone plus, the only program I had in the program memory to create more memory thinking it must be leading to memory crash. No but the problem still remains. I than reflashed the latest ROM to my ATOM....but the problem remained the same with the Media Player. showing the same error message on the screen and it stops playing the song or movie.
Is this a typical problem faced by me or is it common. Kindly suggest the solution. This happens even when playing from Media Center. Please help.

Check the song/video bitrate. Song Bitrate better below 320kbps, video is 600-700kbps or below. If higher than these, will occur some error. the video resolution also had to fixed at 320x240 or below.
If the problem still remain, hard reset it then reflash. then try play the video or song without install any program.
Songs Bitrate are below 320kbps and same is with the Video. But still I get error. I Installed third party player "Pocket Player" and TCPMP to play music files and Videos. and they are perfect no problem. I have even tried after reflashing the ROM but problem remains. Can a ROM become corrupted. Should I redownload from site and install. Kindly suggest.
Same problem here. Plenty of RAM, plenty of Space on the 8GB card. bit rate 128kbs. Not sure what the problem is with WMP, will try and install other audio player.

Music player: "sorry, audio player does not support this type of file," camera prob

Music player: "sorry, audio player does not support this type of file," camera prob
so I have a GB 2.3.4 Atrix 4G, and usually, it plays my music and takes pictures fine. But every so often (it seems everyday), I wind up rebooting after, when trying to player music, it says "sorry, this type of file is not supported," even tho I've been playing them all the time. Also, when this happens, the camera and camcorder also happen to stop working, saying "com.camera.android (or blur)" unexpectedly closed. All my songs are MP3 or MPEG4, and usually all play.
Why is this happening on an update? What can be done to prevent it? Are there apps I need to keep off the "auto-end list?" Does rooting a phone bring this on (via pre-install method)? Or is this a common glitch? I have also complained about the way the music player doesn't have an "all songs" option for the player. Personally, I think a blur 5.0 needs to come out already.
Whoops, I've run into this problem several times, too.
Click on the Next or Previous button on the music widget may sometimes help the audio playback issue, but I'm not sure if it fixes the camera.

Issues playing cached/local albums in Google Play Music

I recently upgraded to the newest version of Google Play Music for the All Access feature, but I've found that the app is having trouble playing music that I have on my phone, whether it is cached from the app or added manually.
The first song of an album or playlist will play, but the app displays a "Music playback error : Couldn't play the track you requested" whenever the app tries to move to the next track. This doesn't happen to streaming music strangely, only music I've cached or loaded from my computer.
Is anyone else having this issue? Let me know if you're able to reproduce this or not. I've tried re-installing the app, clearing the cached music and data, all to no avail.
I really want to love this app with its new layout, but not being able to properly play back local music is a huge issue.
BTW my phone is rooted, not sure if that's going to be an issue or not.

[Q] Nexus 4 Play Music

Yesterday I received the kitkat update. I installed it with no problems. The problem I have now is the Play Music app. Songs that used to play no longer play, I get Music playback error, Couldn't play the track you requested. This is happening to alot of my songs. If I go to the file manager, music file and select the song to play and choose Google Play Music, the song will play. But wont play on my playlist or if I try to play from within the app? Any ideas????
I've got the same problem. "Music Playback error" from Google Music app, and "Error playing the track" using MixZing Music Player.
Looks like an OS problem, not a problem with the player.
Solution 1. Go to settings > apps > Google Play Music > Clear cache and data.
Solution 2. Uninstall the Music app. If you cant; use es explorer and delete it from the system folder (root permission is required) make sure you are rooted.. Reboot your device and reinstall from the Playstore.
Solution 3. Try deleting all the songs and re-copy them.
