free as an upgrade on Sprint - G4 General

FYI For those of you who were on the fence, the LG GA black leather edition is being sold on Amazon for $0.01 for a two year contract renewal. At checkout they apply a $0.01 promotional credit making it free. This is not the lease plan btw, this is to buy it with a 2 year upgrade.
Not bad for barely a week old!

Ya there are some good deals for the note 3 with a new line. Amazon has it for $149, Costco $179 & Fry's $189. For upgrades Amazon is $179, Costco is $229 and I think Fry's price is still $189 for upgrade (sale right now). Only thing about going to Costco is that you only pay taxes on the amount you pay, not on the full price of the phone, this can save quite a bit. It's almost the same price as going thru Amazon, after taxes... Plus Costco give you the accessory pack. I'm personally waiting for it to go down to $179 at Costco. They seem to follow amazon's pricing, just a couple days later...
don't worry, atleast we got our notes unlocked off the bat no contract and sold them for profit!!!!!!
Got mine from Best Buy last week for $149, plus a free on contract S4. Walked out with both for $160 out the door.

Cheap Note 4

Paid 67.99 for my Note. $50 preorder then traded in a S4 ($200) + Best Buy gift card for purchasing the phone ($50) and had 17.99 remaining for taxes and activation.
Same here except i traded a Sanyo Zio......... worth like 2 cents............. no way were they getting my Note 3.........lol
Bought the 50 buck preorder gift card. Went to store to pick up phone (with a crap trade in) realized I forgot the card, they told me I could bring it in and refund it. Went to my local store to do and the manager said there's no way to do it. He offered to reimburse me the cost of the zag tempered glass though, which was 40 and I got to keep the 50 gift card. So after all that it was like 115 for the note plus a 50 buck gift card. Complicated but I feel good about the result.

Unless I'm really bad at math, you got $300 in promotions. The phone costs $720, so how did you only pay $67.99?
He upgraded with 2 year contract so out of pocket cost is 300. He paid 50 dollar for a gift card as a down-payment to pre-order. He traded in phone and got 200 towards phone so now cost is 100. Got additional 50 for purchasing phone. So cost is now 50 tack on his state taxes of 17.99 equals 67.99

How did you guys get additional $50 gift card for purchasing the phone? Mine $118 otd, $50 preorder + $200 trade in (htc hero).
Best buy gave additional 50. They advertised it
I sort of paid $79 for mine after taxes and deposit (or 109 with the Amazon phone I traded in).
There's the $50 deposit, $200 for trading in an HTC Hero (that I paid $30 for), $50 GC for buying a phone this year at BB.
I say sort of because I got a $700 credit in store for my Note 2 as well since I kept having hardware issues with 3 Note 2's within a week. That also got me a Galaxy Gear Neo 2, WB350 Camera, a few other other small things.
This is in the sprint section. What abt the Verizon model?
sent from your moms phone
Imma have to take a visit to Bestbuy and see if they can honored the $50 bucks.
where is this extra $50 gift card everyone is talking about being advertised? please link
I got the $200 gift card for my trade in but i have not seen anything about another $50 GC...

There's two that I've heard of. One is a $50 coupon for trading in a phone; supposedly not many have luck with that one since it double dips. There's another one that is for the BB Reward members from February or so who signed up and said they'd buy a phone this year; I got this one. They basically have this one every year and you get it as long as you sign up, and buy a phone within that year. It'll pop up when you give them the phone number for your RZ account.
Got my Note 4 todya for $25 thanks to the wonder that is icrap. thank you SO MUCH apple for my Note 4

Mmmmmmmm Delicious Note 4. will do the same when Note Edge comes out as I have one more upgrade
Thanks to the 200 rebate from samsung and the 100 rebate from verizon government, I made a penny on the deal. Threw my note 3 up on ebay, that's just the icing on the cake.
Traded in Galaxy S3 $200 (Samsung promotion).
Traded in Note 3 got $250 (best buy rewards gave me additional $50).
Received $50 for upgrading w/ BestBuy (upgrade early sign up)
------------------------------------------------------------
$500 total
-$300 Note 4 (Sprint)
------------------------------
Made $200...Waiting for the new Fitbit Surge or Basis Peak...
Traded Epic 4G touch and got $200 gift card, so Note 4 cost me $99. (BB messed up my points several months ago and somehow I been in negative balance since then). I kept my Note 3 which I am giving to relative for free.

Sprint
Sprint has confirmed that it will offer both devices through its leasing program. The Galaxy S6 with 32GB of storage can be had for $80 a month, which covers both the service and device cost. The Galaxy S6 Edge will cost $85 a month. Sprint customers can upgrade to the 64GB model for $5 extra a month, or $10 more for the 128GB model. Sprint's Boost Mobile prepaid arm is offering the Galaxy S6 starting at $650 without a contract. The carrier didn't announce pricing for devices purchased on a two-year contract or at full retail.
Why AT&T gets away charging $85 more than Verizon baffles me. But hey at least higher storage capacities are available and it's not just 32gb. Why we can't have the emerald green and blue variants I'll never understand.
Oy... I wasn't in pain until I saw the full $$$ amount of the 128 Edge in writing.
Oh well... better make a stiff drink and go ahead and get this out of the way -_-
anybody else mad we only get 3 colors?
and on top of that verizon is only doing black and white.
why can't samsung just sell devices on their website, this **** is annoying.
Looks like AT&T'S pre-orders are live. Not sure how long but I just went to att.com and noticed

I'm mad and simultaneously happy.
I was getting nowhere on deciding between the Emerald S6 Edge and the Black Sapphire, but seeing as the Emerald one isn't even a choice, it made the decision easier lol.
Of course, I might end up buying the Emerald one and selling the Black Sapphire depending... but for now, I'm good.
I'm also a little salty that AT&T didn't bother throwing in a wireless charging pad with pre-orders or something. Considering the price of the phone (and the fact that Best Buy is offering the the pad for pre-orders) they really could have thrown people a bone. Especially since it appears they decided to put their damn branding on the back of the device -_-
I did some digging and found the sprint prices for 2 year agreement by logging into my account and going to shop for phones.
32 gb $199.99
64 gb 349.99
128 gb 449.99
That's a little steep imo for the 64 gb one. I don't know about you guys.

According to Sprint's website, the prices are actually
$199/$299/$399
$299/$399
for the standard and edge respectively. Looks like the 128GB Edge might not be happening though?
I thought we were finally at a point last year when storage bumps were $50 instead of $100.

Because they can. No other reason. They do it to raise the cost of the monthly installment payments.

That's odd. Maybe the upgrade prices are different from purchase prices. I double checked and it still shows what I posted.
