[XOOM2/Xyboard] Theme it like Lollipop with Xposed - Xoom General

Bored of your jelly bean look on your Xoom 2 or Xyboard?
Here's a few things you can install to make it look like Android 5.1, at least by the way it looks.
THIS IS NOT A GUIDE, IT'S JUST ME SHARING WHAT I DID TO MAKE MY XYBOARD LOOK COOL. SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH IN THE VIDEO BELOW
All you need is:
Root
Safestrap installed in case you mess something up
Xposed Framework so you can install and enable the following modules:
Eggster - in order to make the easter egg when you press the software version be the Lollipop one
Monster UI - this app changes the ui colors and framework style, you can even customize your color
Xperia/AOSP Navbar Buttons - just select the lollipop navbar icons from there
Xstana (wifi, battery and signal icons) - select the lollipop status bar icons (and disable the navbar option there)
Apex/Nova Launcher
Bonus:
sEFix (reduce tablet lag) - works really good to reduce lag. Really recommend this app.
Smart Booster (improve RAM consumption) - only use it if you care about RAM, and you should set it up to automatically clean RAM when it reaches certain point.
it will end up looking like this, which kinda brings new life to the tablet and I think looks good:
Again, this is not a how-to guide because it's just sharing what apps I installed. Those apps itself did the whole theming and not me, but I thought some of you would like it.

The Sickness Modz
Fixed links, fixed updaters.Added lots of new stuff.
TouchWiz and pop up zips are not merging new apks. If you already downloaded them. Open and merge onto proper folders in system. I will add uninstall lines tomorrow.
Huge update coming today. Loads of new stuff, complete rebuild of everything. Everything moving to a better server.
New launchers coming sometimes today. Multiply grid sizes. Choice of page indicator top or bottom. Even faster launchers more real estate usable woohoo.
I guess everyone is scared to have cool stuff. So once I see activities. I'll add more mods. Until then we're at idle.
One last time. I added a ton of stuff to this mod pack. This is the last and final update to this mod.

[Q] Xposed module not changing colors?

Hi,
I have a Galaxy S4 running Sammy Deluxe S5 ROM. However I love the look of material design in android L but will loose S4 features including the camera app, if I were to install an stock google rom and theme it, I had pacman ROM for start and being new to custom roms I didn't realize that i'll get rid of all S4 features so installed teh Sammy Deluxe S5 ROM as it's based on touchwiz.
I instead have started changing the theme by installing go launcher and using a android L icon pack (android L launchers aren't as feature rich as go launcher). I've also used wanam xposed to change the color of the notification draw however there are some issues.
Everything looks fine except the draw handle (blue bar at the bottom of drawer) is still the same S5 colors and with brightness slider enabled there is a white line above the notification bar but that goes away if I disable the brightness control but I've installed Icontrol centre to get around that issue until I can find a way to fix it properly.
Is there anyway I can manually theme the phone, I've started looking at APK modding and have looked through the ROM files but can't seem to find anything to change the colors of the notification drawer. Even better would be if there is any other xposed module that can theme more expects of the galaxy S5 also would be nice to theme the settings too.

there are many modules available for themeing in closed installer
you can try gravity box its superb
Use Gravity Box or Wanam Xposed for theming.
Not all modules are compatible with android 4.3 or 4.4

[TWRP] Xposed modules that work with Fire HD :

Update: this discussion is for FireOS 4.5.x, for 5.2.x look elsewhere.
Important: Before trying any of this, please make sure that you have 4.5.3 bootloader and TWRP installed on your device. This way you can always recover by going to TWRP, and re-installing the system. On the other hand, if you use a bit of common sense with Xposed, then a re-install is unlikely. I've tried a few things, and have not had to re-install (yet)
For the record, I am running 4.5.4 with root, installed via these instructions (and these are the same instructions to re-install the system if you screw up!):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-hd/general/how-to-upgrade-to-4-5-4-twrp-root-t3141648
But I don't see why this should not work on 4.5.3 as well.
My Xposed version is 2.6.1, and these are the modules that I've tried :
App Settings - works (this lets you change DPI and language settings on per app basis)
BootManager - works, helps to manage the apps that start on boot
GravityBox [KK] - works, but does not seem to do much
Greenify - worse than does not work !!! This makes Fire HD erratic, lots of reboots upon wake, and even if I enable/disable the module, it's still flaky, so I had to delete the app folder /data/data/com.oasisfeng.greenify to get the regular Greenify to work properly again (and make the tablet stable again) Note that the regular Greenify works fine (just its Xposed module does not work).
KindleLockBG - works, let's you set wallpaper to whatever you want
(credit to DoLooper : http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-hd/general/how-to-wallpaper-custom-launcher-t3123009 )
MinMinGuard - works, this apps blocks ads on per app basis
Wanam Kit - works, but does not do much
YouTube AdAway - works, and a must have, if you give the tablet to kids to watch Youtube, this removes the annoying ads before the Youtube clip starts
If you test something else, please add it to the thread.
Running 4.5.4, but used all on original list with 4.5.3 since we got root.
[EDIT] BTW, you don't need TWRP to install Xposed. Download the apk, v 2.6.1 (not 2.7) from here: http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer
[EDIT] Additions:
Screenshot Delay Remover: Instant screenshot with power + volume-down
Original list:
Xtended NavBar: Doesn't work.
KindleUpdatesOff (by Gran PC): Disables OTA updates (in some way other than by blocking otaverifier). Not sure how it works, but it kept me safe through multiple updates on KFSOWI and now on Fire HD.
Xtoast: Specify a bunch of things about toast messages (SU permission msgs, e.g.), including size and duration
GravityBox [KK]: If you're into messing with appearance of UI, this is a great way to waste an afternoon. Here are some things that work on the Fire:
status bar:
change color of bar, clock, wireless icon
add battery icon (can then turn off battery text in Fire settings)
hide clock, center clock, add day of week
double-tap to turn off screen
notification drawer: change color, transparency
navigation bar and keys:
adjust bar height (personal favorite)
enable/disable: Good if you use pie controls. Needed for ultimate dynamic navbar.
change color
assign actions for long press and double-tap on keys. (to quickly switch between 2 running apps, e.g)
add cursor control (appears when keyboard displayed. Only good for a chuckle)
lockscreen: Hide clock in status bar (since lockscreen already has clock)
pie controls: hidden navbar appears by swiping from edge of screen
expanded desktop (if your launcher doesn't already support it): Let's you hide/pull down status and navbars
media/audio: various options I never tested
screen off effect: make screen turn off like 1950s TV (also, just for a chuckle )
Anyone tested Amplify with Fire HD and Xposed ?
The OP mentions that Greenify didn't work so I'm a bit wary of enabling the Amplify module....
I'm on 4.5.5., so even worst case bootloops shouldn't be an issue, right ?

So what's the result, did Amplify work ? Bootloop is unlikely, and at worst you'll go into TWRP, and start with a fresh 4.5.5
Yeah sorry, haven't been feeling adventurous recently.

[GUIDE] Get Android N Features on Your Phone Now with N-Ify

Hiiii frnds......
Android N will bring a lot of new, innovative, and useful tools to Android, but if you don’t have a modern Nexus device, then it’s hard to say how long you’ll be waiting to get your hands on some of these new goodies. Fortunately, if you’re running a rooted device with the Xposed framework installed, getting many of N’s new features is only a quick download away.
What Features Does N-ify Bring.?
N-ify is an Xposed module for Lollipop and Marshmallow phones that attempts to bring some of N’s best features to older devices. There’s a lot of new stuff happening in Android N, so naturally it can’t all come along for the ride with a simple Xposed module, but N-ify does bring quite a few, including some of the things that were just announced at Google I/O last week. Here’s a short list of what you can expect from N-ify:
-Recents Tweaks:
Double-tap the Recents Button to quickly switch back to the previous app.
Toggles in the Notification Bar: Quick toggles are placed in the notification bar—no need to swipe down to access the full Quick Settings shade.
Improved Notifications: The notification shade is much more streamlined.
Many other, smaller tweaks: There’s a lot of stuff packed in here, some of which allows you to further customize N features in a way that isn’t even possible in the N Beta.
On top of that, the developer has a number of excellent features planned for the future, including:
Night Mode
Android N’s New Doze Mode (which activates even when you’re moving around)
Emergency Contact Info on the Lock Screen
With that said, there are also a few things that aren’t possible with N-ify:
Multi-Window Multitasking
DPI Selector
Data Saver
For those, you’ll have to wait for the full build of N for your device. Still, there’s definitely some useful stuff already packed into this app.
How to Install and Set Up N-ify
First and foremost, you’ll need to have a rooted phone with Xposed installed, and “Unknown Sources” needs to be enabled in your device’s security menu. Once those qualifications have been met, getting N-ify running is easy peasy.
Install it...enable it in xposed installer....
Now open apk... that's simple....
just be sure to make a Nandroid backup before you install N-ify.
Thanks- Jenkins.... for this useful apk.....

THIS IS A MUST! I hate cluttery statusbar. :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
BTW here's what I installed:
-AMPLIFY, battery safer
-FLAT STYLE BAR INDICATOR, costumize ststusbar icons and position
-GREENIFY, another battery safer stuff
-XPOSED EDGE, to enable gestures like long press back to switch to prev app, enable on mid-bottom screen to home to lessen clicking on home button
-XTOUCHWIZ, enable six icons per row on quick settings
-LTEONLY, to lock on LTE only

is there a mod that would allow me to pull down notification bar on lockscreen to toggle on/off flashlight??
Gotta ask, cause I'm running older xposed framework 3.0 alpha with MM and gravity box isn't working (or xui mod, see below), but phone is STABLE! I downloaded newer framework, but after reading some xposed problems (bootloops, lags) people are having, and warning on xposed download itself, I'm real iffy about upgrading framework to 3.1.2.
So I'd ask what framework version you all are using.
My working mods:
Amplify (just now trying it out; it's impressive that dev lets you KO the worst offenders so he'll probably get a cuppa joe from me)
Greenify (Pro version; love how Wakelock Detector integrates Greenify for the problem children)
CoolTool (just the battery's temp in statusbar; cool joystick in settings to place temp wherever you want)
DoubleTapToSleep (double tap status bar; I'm an addict)
Minminguard (I also use Adaway and keep it updated, but mmg gets rid of remnants of ads; love it)
NoOverlayWarning NGL I was close to CURB-STOMPING "new" Note4 when I found this awesome mod. Hello! GET IT! No problems here!!!
YouTube Adaway (I use OGYouTube but can't sign in and get to faves with it; I think there's an update though.)
Fail modules for me
xui mod (to get my animated battery and batt charging status bar line; oh I MISS THIS! But I don't think it works well on MM? ANY workaround ideas would be greatly appreciated; mod isn't being actively devved anymore)
gravity box (partial fail — what fails just doesn't work though, it doesn't cause stability probs. But I'm not a fan of gravity box mostly because it loads settings so you don't have to reboot, and really all I wanted was a batt charging status bar like xui mod, but none of the GB status bar stuff works.) Will probably ditch.
Any ideas for batt charging status bar line? I miss that so much!
