However, have fun with it, hope xposed can help you.

Just switch on airplane mode and switch off that mode. The 2nd sim icon will go off.

Same issue
For me it started when switching back from airplane mode. Rebooted the phone and it cleared up. Couldn't find any settings that applied, and it does not seem to repeat when I switch back and forth to airplane mode.
Phone: OnePlus2

Tapping the top bar an then the signal icon is much faster than going through settings
Good one, I didn't know that.
Ahh, great. Thanks All.
the only annoying thing is that you have to enter your pin everytime you switch back to phone mode. is that related to winmo?

It's related to the fact you are turning your phone on, and you have your SIM card set to ask for PIN. So simply turn it off if you don't like it.

4G Turns on Automatically

I am using LauncherPro and my 4G radio seems to turn on by itself automatically a few times a day. Is anyone else having this issue?

Are you using a rooted phone? if so what rom and what else have you added to it. Plus, if this is the issue, uninstall and use HTC sense, if it sill does it. then maybe your hitting the button?
do you have the 4g switch on your homepage? i heard that can cause problems when launcherpro crashes and reloads your 4g will be on. something worth looking at.
If you're using the non HTC 4g widget that was floating around, one of the bugs it has is it always starts off as "ON" when you boot...
It happened to me that the GPS turned on automatically, and I didn't open maps or anything, draining my battery. So when it starts doing this funcky stuff, just reboot.
I was rooted but now I'm not so I am back to stock. I did install the custom widget that was posted on this forum but no longer have it installed as I am using the one from Switch Pro now. I uninstalled the other one.
I had the same problem after installing the new SwitchPro Widgets. I resolved it by turning off the 4g Network notification. Settings>Wireless&Networks>4g Settings>Network Notification.
But doesn't that just turn off the notification? I don't want the radio coming on when I don't need it.
Turning off the notification caused the 4g to not auto enable, for me. I can't say why, just that it worked. I never saw the auto enable issue prior to installing SwitchPro Widgets, which I think are great by the way, so I'm not bashing the product.
I will give that a shot.
Thanks.
You're not alone
Was having the same problem with SwitchPro for my rooted incredible (also not 4g but 3g). I think it had something to do with how this and maybe other apps poll/access the settings for mobile network. Uninstalled switchpro and all is better.
its too bad i love the interface of switchpro
I had the same issue. I turn off 4G notification and everything is good now.
I use Switchpro.
Thanks, I didn't know what was turning on my 4G by itself, but now I know SwitchPro is the culprit.

That doesn't work. I don't even have the notification turned on and it still does it. It's because of SwitchPro as it never turned on automatically until I installed it.

Happened to me too, but he's somewhat right.
I had 4G Network notification turned off when I installed SwitchPro, but my 4G was automatically turning on also, especially after reboots.
So here's what I did to fix it.
Turn on 4G
Turn on Network notification
Turn off Network notification
Turn off 4G
Still have SwitchPro installed and 4G toggle on my widget, but 4G hasn't turned on automatically since...

Well this turn on/off notification kinda work but only for a while...
If you do the trick, 4G won't tun on automatically anymore. But if you manually turn on 4G and then turn off and reboot your phone (actually you don't need to reboot, a flight mode is enough to show the effect), 4G will be turned on automatically again...
Again, non of the 3rd party switches figured out how exactly this 4G switch work.

You don't need the 4g toggle widget on. Even if it is off it will auto turn back on after a reboot.
I know, and it kills the battery how do I fix it? It keeps scanning

See first post.
Use the Wireless settings menu to enable and disable 4G. That will keep it from restarting after reboots.
How often do you reboot anyway? I'd certainly like to see a fix, but I don't have any problem just remembering to turn it off after a reboot if I don't want it on. It's a small price to pay to have more convenient access to 4G toggling (right in the notification screen, as well as in Quick Settings).

The issue isn't just remembering to turn it off, there's another issue here. The evo doesn't turn off 4g correctly. Test it yourself. Turn off 4g, then wait a while, and check an alogcat log. You'll see that it still tries to connect and scan for 4g every few minutes, only to end up erroring out (because 4g was turned "off"). This is a potential battery drainer also.

[Q] Phobe vibrating every few minutes

Since this morning, my S4 started to vibrate for half a second every few minutes.
I rebooted the phone twice already and there is no notification in the top bar.
The only way I can make it stop is to put the phone in the Airplane mode.
Is there anyway to find what apps is doing this ?
The phone is running latest offcial ROM + CF Auto Root and Nova free launcher.
Thank you
I might have the solution for you. If you go to your settings under My Phone scroll down to Accessibility click on it and scroll down to Vision and turn off Notification reminder You should be good from there. I dont know whats causing but thats what worked for me. Good Luck!

dear lenovo team please help to clear this bug.
hi, today a friend faced the same issue on his Z1, but with a slightly difference. the chrome browser was the only app that could get internet access. SMS and calls are still functional at this point. We have tested many things without success until we tried a simple test. he gave me his 1+1 SIM (german provider) for me (OnePlus3) and i gave him my congstar SIM (telekom daughter company). the 1+1 SIM has not worked on my OnePlus 3 but with the congstar SIM on his Z1 everything worked perfect.

OK in the end the phone have not recognized the right APN settings , so it needed to be set manually
May be you should boot in safe mode and there turn off airplane mode from power menu.

If its an issue of no signals at all for both sims then it might be an old bug where the phone is continuously in airplane mode without showing.
To solve this you have to boot in safe mode( power+ vol down) , then disable airplane mode from settings or power menu.
It might solve the issue. Hope it helps.
