Lte variant of mote e has different processor and device code name for this is "Surnia".
"Otus"- device name for 3g variant of moto e.
It s not advisable to flash roms of surnia on otus and vice versa as they have different chipsets

Hello,
I have an XT1527, running 5.1, baseband says **SURNIA_TMO_CUST, system version says **surnia_retus.retus.en.US.retus.
I'm a T-Moble customer, and trying to go back to 5.0.2
I've tried this rom: XT1527_SURNIA_CC_TMO_5.0.2_LXI22.50-32_ cid9_ subsidy-CCAWS_CFC.xml.zip ------ T - mobile, and this one: XT1527_SURNIA_RETUS_5.0.2_LXI22.50-24.1_cid9_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip.
I get to the point where I try to flash the partition and it fails. I've also continued and tried to do the next command which is mfastboot bootloader bootoader.img and that fails too.
Any guesses what I'm doing wrong? Or should I just continue down the lines of commands and keep trying? I'm using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...e-restore-moto-e-2015-stock-firmware-t3044936
I'll ask on that thread too, but just thought I'd ask here.
TIA

@mai77 here is a mirror for the firmware SURNIA_RETUS_5.0.2_LXI22.50-24.1_cid9_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
Baidu
Mega mirror comes soon, sorry but filefactory mirror is a joke not resumable and no highspeed
i'll also mirror the 5.1 firmware *or a deodex version if not already deodexed* and motofirmware woun't let me download it keeps failing, so i hope mirrors is appreciated

might be irreversible boot-loader? this is known to be "locked" for downgrade, because of reasons as we don't want downgrades? also try use the bat file, it will execute the commands for you once you CD into the directory with the files and the bat in same folder

And the 5.1 firmware works. Great

hi, i have a moto e (xt1527) with 64bit processor (cortex a53). The problem is that in several applications it shows me that it is 32 bits, I have used lineage os (currently), resurrection remix and mokee, but none use 64 bits. Do you know any rom that uses 64 bits? If they have the same model and have the 64 bits "activated", it would be very much a screenshot with the 64bits and the rom used.

[SGP551] Xperia Z2 Tablet - Brazilian DTV-LTE Model Thread

Hey brothers.
Following the footsteps of the Brazilian D6543 Xperia Z2 thread, and since our dear Sony Brazil decided once again to release in our country a specific Digital TV-capable LTE model and since this model seems to be sold only here, I thought it would be a good idea to create a Brazilian-specific thread so we can discuss any features, details or problems specific to our device (again, just like in the Brazilian Z2 thread).
Differences Between Models
Most of the Z2 Tablet specs are the same on all models (SGP511, SGP512, SGP521 and SGP 541), such as the same processor (Qualcomm's MSM8974AB), 3 GB of RAM, Adreno 330, 10.1" Full HD IPS screen and so on. The only differences between the models are:
1 - The networks/storage:
SGP511: WiFi-only 16 GB model
SGP512: WiFi-only 32 GB model
SGP521: UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1700 (Band IV), 1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) MHz | GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz | LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17 and 20)
SGP541 (3G-only version, no idea where it is sold): UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1700 (Band IV), 1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) MHz | GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
SGP551: UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1700 (Band IV), 1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) MHz | GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz | LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 - just like the Brazilian Xperia Z2, no bands 13, 17 and 20 here, so forget about the 700 MHz 4G/LTE when our government/carriers finally manage to use this frequency, once the analog TV signal is cleared and made available for mobile networks)
2 - The Digital TV receiver
Well, this speaks for itself. Fortunately, and unlike the Brazilian Xperia Z2, this one is the full seg standard.
Apart form these two details, there is apparently no other differences from our tupiniquim model and the ones sold internationally. The Xperia Z2 Tablet White Paper for the SGP511 and SGP512 models can be found here and the one for the SGP521, SGP541 and SGP551 models can be found here. There is also a far more technical datasheet on our devices which can be found here.
Now, I tried flashing both the unbranded UK and DE firmwares for the SGP521 on my SGP551 and when flashing without wiping my data and in both occasions it resulted in a bootloop. But flashing it with the full wipe did the job. In other words, based on my experience, you CAN flash a SGP521 firmware on our SGP551, but you HAVE TO WIPE everything (unlike the Brazilian Xperia Z2, in which you can flash a D6503 firmware on our D6543 without any wipes).
3 - Rooting, custom recoveries, bootloader unlocking, etc.
At this moment I can only say what I have experienced so far, and, with that regard, I can confirm to you all that you can do pretty much anything you want in that matter as if it was a international 4G/LTE Z2 Tablet (SGP521).
Rooting tools (at least for the .314 firmware) work as they should (I've used this one in both my Z2 and my Z2 tablet, but there is also this one that should work too - these are the only ones I'm aware of). TA Backup tool also works as it should.
For custom recoveries, I've only tried [NUT]'s XZDualRecovery (v.2.7.154) and it works like it should. Haven't ran into any problems yet.
You should be able to unlock your bootloader just like any other Sony device, but I'm honestly unable to confirm it 100% since I haven't (nor do I intend to) unlock mine.

Notes
This works on ANY Xperia Z2 Tablet (SGP551).
Your Xperia Z2 Tablet does NOT have to be rooted.
Your Xperia Z2 Tablet does NOT have to be bootloader unlocked.
This does NOT re-lock a SIM unlocked phone (unlocking is ONCE and PERMANENT).
This does NOT unlock your bootloader.
(Thank you @Apollo89 for coming up with this 4 lines on your Xperia ZQ firmware thread - I think they'll help reduce any doubts newcomers might have)
Since this is an international forum, I'd like to remind my fellow countrymen that we have to post things in English here, as per Forum Rules. But we can also post things in PT-BR, as long as we post it in English first.
_____________________________________________________________________________
Moderators - I understand that there is a policy of avoiding country-specific threads for the sake of keeping things simple and direct, but I'd like to ask you guys to open an exception and keep an opened mind in this case since the Z2 Tablet model sold in Brazil (SGP551) is available only in here and that may raise some problems very much specific to our device that may not receive the proper attention of the general modding community (such as finding a proper FTF file for our model, issues with the DTV, apps or the available LTE bands on this model, baseband issues and so on). Since this device has just been released here and it is a top-of-the-line device (which means it is very expensive in our country) it has not received any support as of today in Brazilian forums yet, so people may be coming here with a lot of doubts regarding this specific device.
If you guys believe a thread such as this is not important, feel free to close or delete it.

Thanks for the Topic!
I also have the SGP551 model and i had some doubts before seing this post, but now, almost all of them are clear.
i think i have only 2 questions left:
1-If i flash a SGP 521 firmware will i lose the Digital TV app?
2- is possible to use 521 kernels on the 551 model?
thanks man!

Don't really know about the kernel (never tried it anyway), but you will lose the DTV app, 100% sure about it.

If the only problem is lose the DTV app, maybe it's possible that we back it up before flashing and install it later...
When i become more confident about flashing on XZ2 tablet i'll try.
Later i'll try the second method of rooting and i'll post the result here.
thanks bro.

We've tried that with the Xperia Z2 smartphone, but we've had no luck at all. We even tried pushing the apk, lib files and even flashing the D6543 kernel on top of a D6543 with a D6503 firmware, but all we manage to do was break wifi amd blueltooth. Since both the Z2 and the Z2 Tablet as very similar when it comes to hardware and software, it safe to say that it wont work with the Z2 Tablet as well...
When you feel you are ready to start flashing on the Z2, just remember that, for me, a simple no-wipe flash resulted in bootloop. Had to do a full wipe flash for it to work properly.
Best regards and good luck

Just rooted and installed dual Recovery.
Everything ok.
The second method for root worked great.

Actually, there is a way to get root access, but it is not an easy way (it is not hard neither, it is just a bit of extra work). I've done it myself when I upgraded my Z2 Tablet to 4.4.4. And the best thing of it all is that you don't even need to wipe your device to do it - it is advisable, but I didn't do it on my tablet (only on my Z2) and it is working flawlessly so far.
You'll need to follow the footsteps shown in this thread by norti. READ THIS THREAD FIRST.
You'll basically need 5 things:
1- One stock FTF file of your preference (like the one I posted for our Brazilian SGP551, the one I used);
2- Good old Flashtool by Androxyde;
3- PRFCreator by zxz0O0 - USE v0.5 (I've tried it with v0.6 first and ended up with an error);
4- A flashable SuperSU file (you can find a link to the latest version in norti's thread - I believe it is v2.16); and
5- A modded (patched) version of [NUT]'s XZDualRecovery - it is a simple patch, just add one extra command in one simple line in one simple file in XZDR's package so it can enable the RICKiller script on this firmware. Here is the link to the one I made myself..
What you'll basically do (and I mean really basically) is use PRFCreator to create a flashable pre-rooted package that you can simply flash with TWRP, CWM or any other custom recovery (I use TWRP for most cases).
Once you've created the flashable file, you'll basically flash it in recovery, TURN OFF THE DEVICE (DO NOT REBOOT IT), and flash ONLY THE PARTS MENTIONED BY NORTI IN HIS THREAD with Flashtool.
Just to be on the safe side, after I flashed everything I re-flashed the patched recovery and the flashable SuperSU zip file, but that was a simply overzealous of me, you don't really need to do it.
Like I said, it is not hard, you don't have a rocket scientist to do it, but it is a bit of work. Unfortunately there doesn't seems to be a one-click root method coming for us any time soon - we (normal mortals) will have to wait for one of those crazy devs to find an exploit in Android 4.4.4.
Oh, and, I almost forgot - if you decide to try it, don't forget to thank @norti, @zxz0O0, @[NUT], @Androxyde and @Chainfire for all their hard work.
Guys, if you'll have a different firmware version in the future than the Z2, please write me a PM, because right now the patched dualrecovery only works on the firmwares with number: 23.0.1.A.3.9, 23.0.1.A.0.167, 17.1.2.A.0.323, 17.1.2.A.0.314.
Until [NUT]'s away I can only do edit patches after a new firmware is released. If I'll have a bit more time, I'll create a separate patch for the recoveries and that will be independent from [NUT]'s work.
Thanks!
i'll try it as soon as i get some time.

This tablet seems to be very good if they had included a pen in the project would not miss anything.
I read some American sites that this tablet supports card up to 128 GB memory. But the manual says it only accepts 64 GB. Has anyone tested 128GB card?

Sorry, but I've only tested with my 64GB microSD card. But everywhere else I've read says it supports 128 GB cards... Are you sure you read it right? May have been an error on the user manual (wouldn't be the first time for Sony)

Hello.. I need some help here..
My Z2 tablet (SGP551) refuses to turn on both wifi and BT. Even after the factory reset..
What do you think about ? Should I send back to sony and wait several days to get it back working or should I try to install the firmware from VIVO ?
I´m looking for thius firmware without success. If you could please upload it I´d be so grateful.
Sorry my poor english..
Vcs podem me dar alguma dica ?
Obrigado
Thanks

Sorry for the long delay, mate.
Right now I'm very far away from home, and I'll only be back on January 10.
You can download it yourself if you don't want to wait (I wouldn't neither). You'll only need to use two programs, Xperifirm and Flashtool itself. It is quite easy, actually. All you need to do is use Xperifirm to download the files straight from Sony's servers, and then use Flashtool to create the FTF file.
Search for Apollo89's thread on how to create a FTF, jump to part C of that tutorial (you'll already have downloaded the files with Xperifirm) and you should be done. Just make sure not to select "unpack the files" with Xperifirm (or something like that), because if you follow Apollo89's tutorial, Flashtool will do it for you.

Moto X Style *CHINESE**Variant XT1570

Dear all:
Apparently there is a Chinese variant of Moto X Style.
0. Chinese variant is XT1570
1. Chinese Variant is dual-SIM phone
2. All Chinese variant by default doesn't ship with *ANY* Google services. In fact, last time I checked, entire Google Service Framework is missing
3. The Chinese XT1570 support GPS, Chinese Beidou and, Russian GLONASS navigation system
4. Chinese vairant support following radio band:
SIM 1
4G: FDD LTE B1/3/7/20 TD LTE B38/39/40/41
3G: UMTS B1/2/5/8 TD-SCDMA B34/39 CDMA: BC0
2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900
Roaming Frequencies:
4G: FDD LTE B7/17/20
3G: UMTS B2/5
2G: GSM 850/1900
SIM 2
4G: FDD LTE B1/3/7/20 TD LTE B38/39/40/41
3G: UMTS B1/2/5/8 TD-SCDMA B34/39 CDMA: BC0
2G: GSM 850/900/1800/1900
Roaming Frequencies:
4G: FDD LTE B7/17/20
3G: UMTS B2/5
2G: GSM 850/1900
Chinese users apparently tried to flash XT1572 ROM (rest of Asia) to the XT1570 device. The result is that the phone no longer can receive signals.
There are users managed to flush all but the radio part of the XT1572 ROM and everything worked.
Can you provide the link to download the stock XT1572 ROM?
Thanks in Advance.

This rom might be modified for xt1570 from retasia official firmware by club.lenovo, and there was a rom named "haoshizhitu" .
XT1570 has never been upgraded to itself 6.0, it has been abandoned by lenovo.
Most of us had flashed retasia_official_firmware_6.0/6.0.1,and currently we flashed official 7.0 of retla/retasia/retus,all work fine.

Blu Vivo 5R LTE bands problem

Hi. I purchase a Blu VIVO 5R from amazon uk
The product description was that the phone sold by amazon have the following bands 4G LTE/FDD (2/4/7/12/17), 3G (850/1700/1900/2100)
But the one that it came have the following band 3G: (900/1900/2100) 4G FDD LTE: (1/3/7/20) TDD LTE: (38/38/40/41)
So im unable to receive 4G sinal (i need the FDD b4)
Is there any way to activate the band 4? maybe by installing another rom?
I checked on willmyphonework and its seems that there is only one version. That is why i think that maybe is possible to activate it..
Any help will be much apreciate.
Thanks for reading.

Hi,
If you want you can try to flash newer update V25. It's here https://forum.xda-developers.com/vivo-5r/how-to/blu-vivo-5r-stock-roms-bluv0090eev11-t3492756
Backup your important data. Use SP flash tool to flash the newer update. Let it ran through the setup, and then factory reset.
Please let us know if you managed to fix the problem. Thanks.
Hi. I have UK version BLU_V0090EE if I flash it with the USA versión Blu V0090UU would be able to use the lte bands from USA or would just brick the phone?

OnePlus 6T A6010 vs A6013

Hi everyone,
Recently I bought on Gearbest the OnePlus 6T China version (A6010) and in the product description it says Unlocked for worldwide use. I've already checked and my local area network is compatible, but I'm worried now that there will be other differences than the LTE band.
Will the unlocked A6010 support OTA updates same as the A6013?
Is it possible to flash the global ROM in the chinese version?
Any additional information would ne helpful,
I still have a chance to switch to the Global version but I'll have to pay an additional 150$, is the switch worth the money??
Thank you
I'm using A6010. OTA-wise, there is totally no problem. I got the OTAs the same day it released; maybe because India phones are A6010 too
I don't know about band frequencies

I think that's because the A6010 are officially released for China and India as well. Not sure if that's the case for Europe and other countries

Worse case scenario, use a VPN for OTA or simply download the file manually from the forum and flash it using the "Local Upgrade" in the OTA app.

My update packs have the name started with "A6010". Update packs in the forums are A6013. Not sure if there's anything different, but local update sounds risky.
VPN to Canada works everytime for the last two updates

I'm certain you can flash the full A6013 firmware on a A6010. At least from my experience from the OnePlus 3 I'm not sure what the case with the 6T is. And a lot of these third parties already do that to some devices they ship (at least going by their description)

Here is the actual truth. The 6010 and the 6013 are the exact same phone there is no difference. The only difference is the OS that is loaded on the phone depending on the region it is released. In China, the OS will be Hydrogen OS and in other countries that use Google apps, Oxygen OS will be loaded. You can simply wipe (format) your storage and flash OOS and then you will be able to recieve OOS OTA's.

I'm not sure for A6010, the MSMdownload tool in the forum's has support for the A6013 McLaren edition. You should be fine flashing that.

I have been buying OnePlus devices since the OP 3, from China and the bands have always been exactly the same and the only difference has been HOS versus OOS. Simply wipe your storage and flash the latest OOS rom. OnePlus devices have long been very simple and straightforward devices with unlockable bootloaders.. They have the same bands. Here is the link to the CN OnePlus store: https://www.oneplus.com/cn/6t/specs According to the specs, it uses the exact same bands!
FDD LTE:
Band 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/18/19/20/25/26/28/29/66
TDD LTE: Band 34/38/39/40/41
TD-SCDMA: Band 34/39
UMTS(WCDMA): Band 1/2/4/5/8/9/19
CDMA: BC0/BC1
GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz

A6013:

There has always been a difference, even on the OnePlus 3, which I had.
The reason why it may seem to work fine for you and a lot of people is because there are common frequencies that both model support and your network provider might work on those frequencies. However, when you might go to rural areas where LTE/4G signals are weak or non existent then your phone will have to fallback on other frequencies such as 3G or even lower and that's where you might face problems. Again, check all the frequencies that your carrier supports to get the best experience.

I don't see any difference in LTE bands which are the most vital. Please list the exact differences, because I don't see any.

Check that the A6010 is compatible with your carrier frequencies. Otherwise I guess it's fine.
It's fine in Estonia and France.

LTE Carrier Aggregation / Bands Info

I would seek info about the LTE Cat6 Modem in the Realme 2 pro: which LTE Bands are supported and is there support for Carrier Aggregation?
The Bands of interest for me (possibly all supported in this order): B3 (1800+), B20, B7 (2600), B1 (2100), B32
According to gadgetsnow.com there is support for: 1, 3, 5, 8, 38, 40, 41 - so B20 and B7 as well as B32 is missing
Found no info on CA (2CA or 3CA); it seems unsupported?
anyone know what carrier aggregation bands are supported i.e (band 3+band7) etc etc ?
I think no one knows but if you have this device, you can get log out and then we can see supported bands and combinations. Here instruction: https://mt-tech.fi/en/how-to-get-4g...droid-phone/#OnePlus,_Oppo_and_RealMe_devices
Please then send the log file to https://cacombos.com/contribute so i can improve 4G CA Combination database. In my site have already some Realme devices: https://cacombos.com/search?key=Realme
On gsmarena site it was mentioned that realme 2 pro supports 2CA. Can anyone confirm?
