Artemis Unlock Step by Step

This method unlock your CID and SIM.
Instruction:
FIRST THINGS FIRST
REMOVE ANY PIN and LOCK CODES FROM YOUR PHONE BEFORE GOING ANY FURTHER
ALSO REMOVE ANY SD CARD ABOVE 2GB
1. Download: Artemis Sim Unlock and files below(it contains all we need)
2. Install WST v4.2.2 setup.exe
2a. Install the 2 cab files to your device Cert_spcs.cab and enable rapi.cab (note It Seems Most people must install "EnableRapi.cab" and "Cert_SPCS.cab" manually so you may aswell do it to save any problems Files below)
3. Launch WST and click on Enable RAPI
4. Click <Repair IMEI> and then enter the new: 355046015665718 (save your current original IMEI before change - you have to go back to it later)
5. Start ARTEMIS_Unlock.exe, when program ask for .unl file, select the xxx.unl (the file select box appears behind dos box)
5. Start WST again, click <Repair IMEI> and change to your original IMEI (don't forget enable rapi button, cab files should still be installed in device)
I can confirm that it works! Few people already unlock their Artemis successfully
Remember! Changing IMEI in many country is illegal! You are doing this at your own risk.

Update To everyone wondering if you loose your unlock after flashing a new rom the answer is NO i just installed TMO WM6 stock rom and my phone is still SIM unlocked

A very nice way to unlock the device. You didn't even have to be a developer to find the solution, BUT!!!

Well I tried with my SPV M650 Orange (Poland) but i'm stuck :/ when I run the Artemis_Unlock.exe on my XP i got BSOD (Blue screen of Death) sayn "Program SubSystem blabbla terminated with error code c000021a"
Any suggestions how to solve it? I'm almost done

Try with other PC or laptop.

Hi after press Enable Rapi I get message that all is ok but when I press Change Imei i get
Warning!
A device was detected but one (or both) of RAPI
Communications and Applications Policy isn't
enabled.
Use first button for that purpose and try again
I copied manualy RAPI and CERT but still the same. What's wrong?

Then install the two .cab files (EnableRapi and Cert_SPCS) on your device and skip the Enable RAPI step.

when phone screen goes black, watch cmd window, does it say select unl file? yes look behind cmd window there should be a file select box with the unl file in, select it to continue the unlock process

I've bricked my PHONE ! no restore point and no original SD CARD

I've bricked my phone and I have lost my original micro SD card ... ...
I've tried using Windows Phone Support Tool but it says,
The tool cannot recover this phone. 'Please contact technical support'.. ...
I've recently reinstalled my windows to windows 7 so l'd lost my recover in my Zune too.. ...
Is there anyway to recover the phone ?
I'd looked at Walshed Support Tool, does it work on this problem ?

I have same problem but it's impossible for me to contact Dell support, I tried to call them in US but they tell me to join German support and I don't speak German at all...

my phone is still under warranty but I can't contact the service...
And my Tag number refer to a server and not a DVP...

You changed the SD Card...your phone's warranty is no longer valid.

I never change my SD card but i have this message now:

I've called dell UK and told me my phone was a US so I have to call up US... ... I've called up US they said they are happy to exchange for phone for me providing I am in the US .... .... so back to square one ... ... but problem is, the original SD card is not there anymore... ... that's not under warranty right ?
I got friends in US but I don't want to bother them if it's not gona be under warranty unless I can get warranty stickers from ebay ?

Well you voided your warranty so you are at a loss. The first thing they are going to check is if you screwed with your SD card

Your best best at this point is to start your phone in the bootloader mode by inserting the battery and then holding power, vol down, and camera untill the image shows up of a laptop and a phone. Then download the 7704 image and extract it. Copy that to C:\Program Files\Zune. Open a command prompt there. Type UpdateWP.exe /ffu LongFileName.ffu and hit enter.

Thanks very very very much, I have a working phone now and I've updated to mango, but now I feel the same frustration as to no tether and compass as others, but I can life with it, it's better than no phone at all

Okay now you've lost me there....
So why even sharing this program when it steals your Imei and Serialnumber from your phone and sents it to multiple places....

Fetching IMEI is a serious concern! However, if a genius can decipher what's the exploit used here...! it seems the program is doing things through ADB??

No but there were two threads with this program and both are closed due to security issues.. And yet again this damn program appears on XDA.... It seems that searching is a bit hard.

I 've asked the developers vroot about code IMEI
They noted that only promotions and much of the software used
That currently do not use

Sorry but this is closed. As this tool collects IMEI we wouldn't allow discussion and using it here in XDA for the security purpose of our members. The tool may just collect the IMEI for rooting purpose but the matter still not unveiled completely what actually it is. So till then we won't allow Vroot here. Thanks for understanding

Do you know the IMEI/barcode number of the phone? It's normally 10 digits beginning with a 3. I can use it to find the firmware for you.

Here's the ROM and flashing tool I used: mega.nz/#F!bWBnhYQb!BjHVHTxJRYwYMCB8id7M7w
This is the instructions I followed: androidmtk.com/flash-stock-rom-using-smart-phone-flash-tool
I got android up and running fine, however the IMEI's are missing when and it does not connect to network when I put in a sim.
At the bottom of the previous guide it says there is another guide to load the IMEI's on. Here's the link to that guide: androidmtk.com/use-sn-write-tool
I got stuck on Step 9 as I don't have the AP and MD files. I tried a bunch of files I could find through Google but nothing gave me the pass.
So I found an alternative way to get the IMEI by extracting the MD file from this guide: Youtube.com/watch?v=N6i7Zln1rCE and then loading it through Maui META (this guide forum.hovatek.com/thread-12328.html
Now the IMEI is there and I have signal but mobile data does not work.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if it works for you or if you found any other way to get it working completely. I need some help getting the mobile data working myself so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Actually the problem was my simcard wasn't detecting the network properly so I just had to manually input the APN.

Oh, previous I encountered a problem of "PMT changed for the ROM, it must be downloaded". But it is easily to fix, just click the "Format" tab, and format it, the problem will be fixed.
And the problem of invalid IMEI, after I put new SIM card into the phone, the problem will be fixed. Thank you very much for you help!

Can't connect to camera

Currently I got an issue with my Mi 9t.
When I try to start the default camera app, I get a notification: Camera error: Can't connect to camera.
I can open the camera in whatsapp, but when i try to switch cameras it just switched to the macro camera(lens). So I cannot switch to my front pop-up camera.
I tried
- clearing all data from the camera app,
- set all permission
- restart the phone
- set language to English (US)
None of these helped to get the camera working again.

I have the same problem, it started today without any changes...

I Get error: cameralist no match for all the rear camera options and nothing when checking the front camera (the white space above the pass/fail buttons is just empty, i suppose there should be a camera button).
And the camera calibration option in additional tools fails alltogether (it crashes)

My phone mi9t started this problem too yesterday . İ tried 3 diffirent rom problem not fixed. default setting and . i format disk with twrp and install new rom still not fixed. thats mean hardware problem ? But sometimes its work random. maybe cable unplug ?

ahh ok sounds like a solution to try, yet i just searched around for twrp and restoring persist.ext4.winh but can not find a lot of information. Could you give me a small (noob friendly, since I have almost no knowledge about mobile phones) tutorial on how to perform this action? Thanks in advance

its not about software . i tried diffirent roms . still same . there is 2 options about this.
first phone camera cable unplug inside
second is about phone system files . you can access there only with twrp

You destroyed persist partition. You need to reflash it from your backup if you have. But be aware, flashing another persist file will make you lose widewine L1 support for Netflix, Amazon prime etc

i have full twrp backup . i restored orjinal persist file . First day camera worked normal. Next day again same problem. Today again restore persist file. now nothing work. i doubt about if camera cable unplug
But there is 3 camera back. 2 camera on same plug , another 1 camera on diffirent plug. it will be strange if 2 diffirent cable unplug. its dfficult understand software or hardware problem.

I never did anything on my phone with the persist partition. I've never put another rom on it or whatever, it's straight out of the box with the standard updates. So would be strange if my persist partition is destoryed right...

i have same problem with you now . im searchig since 5 hour . another Xoami models have this problem too all people speaking about persist. i dont know what to do

I'm experiencing the same issue since yesterday and I've never tampered with the firmware.
Could an update had caused this issue? The "System service plugin" had been updated to 9.10.22 the day before this has happened.

As I've said before, I haven't done anything to my phone at all, not even root.
But I was able to find the solution to my situation.
Something has enabled the "Sensors Off" option in the developer settings.
After disabling it, things returned to normal.

Yeah can;t find that option in the dev options either

I had same issue few times. Default settings, hard reset, factiry reset didnt worked.
1) Changing to EN helps for 2 days.
2) Today I fixed it next way: when off, tapped/knocked not very hard by fingers on back of phone, around cameras left and right, and on top side. First time rear vamera started to work, tapped again and everything works now. Dont know how long it will lasts but keeping hoping. It looks like camera wires disconnecting from mainbord sometines

I had this issue too but fortunately it was necessary just to reboot.
