Sorry mister baii, we don't know how to remove that stupid dreaded stuff from the right hand sensor prompt.

haha, sorry for the unclear question, it just hard to reproduce it. it is a full screen prompt saying the touch screen is locked and ask you remove object from the sensor.
Usually happens when waked from sleep.

maybe the user guide may help, please read through page 398
http://support.sprint.com/global/pdf/user_guides/sharp/aquos/sharp_aquos_crystal_gsg_ug.pdf

He's taking about the Sweep On gesture. Much like the LG G3, the digitizer is left on, accepting a gesture to activate the display.
For some reason, the ambient light sensor (located next to the notification light) demands light for interactivity during this. It's basically a pain for right-handing phone users like myself. I assume it is so it can't take input and unlock in your pocket, but it's a hassle, and it continues to do so even with secure lock solutions that require human input.
As for a fix, there really isn't one. Get used to stretching your finger up to the Power key.

Annoying size of X button

My X (close) button must be sized wrong. When I try to click a button that is just below the X (for example the green arrow refresh button in PIE) the X button activates...arrgh
I am definitely CLICKING well below the X button.
I am trying to find a Registry Entry or something to make that X button's activation size smaller.
Please help!!!
It seems to me that your touch screen is miscalibrated. Try recalibrate it.

Thanks, but I have recalibrated a hundred times.
And to clarify, it is only the X button that gives me a problem - all other buttons activate correctly.
There has to be a way to "size" the button's activation area.
Please help!!

Seeing you have an HTC Touch, I'm guessing it's got something to do with the biotouch feature that makes the X easier to press.
Using a registry editor, try HKLM/Software/OEM/TFLOSettings/FingerPressure.
The lower the value, the harder you have to press. Maybe this will help. Use at your own risk.

thanks but I changed that also without success... again, i dont believe that is the problem because it would be causing this same issue with other buttons. The X is only one that gives me a problem. I literally can be tapping well below it and it still recognizes the click - this is very frustrating when i type in a web address and try to click the green arrow to "enter"...
also, it is not a problem on my wife's touch, which is set up exaclt like mine
sigh

cool proggie, but does not help.
does anyone know how to resize the X button?
I've used X-Button on several devices and none have had that problem and have only activated on the icon itself. Never off of the icon.
Have you tried removing any screen protector and cleaning around the edge of the screen in that area. I've seen protectors/dust/lint etc caught in the edge that messes up the alignment just in that area.
If you want to verify if its the screen or the progam then you could disable the X-Button in its settings and then install another Task Manager program like iLauncher .. Does the other program exhibit the same flaw or does it work correctly. If it works fine then X-Button was actually causing a problem. If your still having the same problem then its most likely something causing a problem with the screen.
I would like to make my X button bigger if possible, so going back to the original poster, is ther any way to do it.

Lock System better than S2U2

Hell yeah, S2U2 is cool, because it's as an iPhone, but it's laggy and it cost too much battery even HTC closed...
So, as i appreciate the way to unlock it, i found this program : http://www.throttlelauncher.com/downloads/files/ThrottleLock0.4.CAB
It's more than a simply unlocker, as you can create a pattern which look like a password, but you also can simply define as pattern the 3 downs buttons from left to right, and it's like S2U, without lag (and yeah without the iPhone trademark ) !
Here are some screenshot : http://www.throttlelauncher.com/portal/downloads/34-public-releases/87-throttle-lock-04
Enjoy it
I'd be interested in anyone's opinion on this.
I like S2U2, I don't find it drains my battery too much, I like the extra info it displays about next appointments and tasks etc.
Does this locking system show that kind of information too?

Tried it,very nice and cool looking, but unfortunately it wil unlock itself by an incoming call.
Ha ha, doesn't that make it kinda pointless? Many of us will want a lock so that when a call comes in, it doesn't accidentally unlock...
Does a text message unlock it to? Does turning it on unlock it?
I only use S2A2 for the Full Screen caller Option and Trotllelock for a manual devicelock (added to my start up list).
@AndyCr15 : luckyuser means that sometimes Trotllelock unlock itself (Bug). Normally you must wipe with your finger from up to bottom to answer a call. I'll use only the device lock option. Not the answer unlock option. So i'll have the best options from both apps.

Yean it's unlock when a call, but HTC got the protection as you have to put your finger on the virutal block and move it to the left to answer and move to the right to ignore... so it's not a problem, it's an advantage that it's unlocked automatically...

The only programm who can fix that problem to is PocketShield.
Tried this app also, but I had to often gesture problems by shaking the phone! The device didn't react and awake properly for normal use!
i lock my phone by pressing and holding the "down reciever" icon. I thought that i could do that and this app would activate but it doesnt.
It's simple, S2U 1.37 corrects the advantage that thortlelock had... let's go back to S2U2 1.37
See you

I use it too. Shaking does not work that good, so I only use it with finger slide. Works really good. The application is not free though, but €7 is not that much for lifetime upgrades and a lock application that does what it promises
Let's be clear, the application does not unlock itself; it merely (like S2U2) allows you to answer or ignore the call. After the call is completed the phone remains locked.
I have used both and chose throttlelock over S2U2 because of the lack of battery drain, the fact that I can mute an incoming call and that the security on throttlelock is (mildly) better than on S2U2. The other thing to mention is that there are options within throttlelock to disable the 'hard keys' if you choose.
Personally, I will continue to use throttlelock (or an alternative like Pocketshield when it becomes fully HD compatible) until some of the issues with S2U2 are fixed. These are still apparent in the latest ver 1.37.
Just my opinion
Mav.
Pocket shield is the best. I love it's option to auto-unlock with light sensor, and in the dark I just slide my finger on the screen It's also great that it can disable the hardware buttons when locked so no more problem with incidental pressing them while taking the phone out of my pocket I am very happy with this program, esspecially since it has no battery-drain issue like s2u2. The only thing that bothers me is why the h*... htc did'nt implement something like that in TF3d?! ...that, and group sms solution... and a few other things... sorry for the of topic in the end,

We'll see....I used to use S2U2 on my Kaiser but haven't bothered putting on for the last couple of months due to excessive ROM flashing - on my Touch PRO, I found that "TouchLockPro" was a brilliant alternative to S2U2 as it allows you to take advantage of the capacitive touch functionality on the Touch Pro. Have a read here for all the details.

[Q] Navigation Button Lights?

When I'm streaming movies from Amazon, the soft buttons on the bottom of the screen constantly stay lit. Does everyone else's do this? Is there a way to turn the lights off?
I guess the Amazon app for videos does not have the necessary code to do that... it's a problem with the app....

I'm not using an app. I'm using Boat Browser to go to the site. I even went back to stock and relocked to see if that may be affecting it. No change. And I notice they never go off even if I'm doing nothing but looking at the homescreen. Do yours go off?
Well, the Nexus 10 Guidebook answered one question. They are supposed to go off like I thought.
After a short time without getting used, these buttons may shrink to dots or fade away, depending on the current app. To bring them back, double-tap in their approximate location.

And like I said before, they don't go off even when not using an app and sitting at the homescreen.
Can't anyone answer a simple question? Do your navigation button lights stay on or go off?
Someone told me their lights stayed on except when using Netflix. I signed up for a Netflix trial just to test it. They go off when viewing a Netflix movie. I guess mine is normal, just not normal to what I'm used to.

Homescreen - they stay on as long as the screen is on.
They don't "go off" ever since they're part of the UI. The only time they change is when they fade to small dots instead of icons, whenever certain apps are trying to go full-screen, although it's pseudo-fullscreen since the dots remain to show you where the home button is should you require it.

No, I've never really thought about it. It could be magic for all I know. I just know they will go off on my phone while the rest of the screen stays on.
The buttons are on the screen. They are not like the ones on your phone.

Many are disappointed that removed spending function hand over the screen off and on the screen appeared nformation, so here it is, but hidden

What is the point of the led lights in the back/recents capacitive buttons?

I mean really, there needs to be option to have them on always when the screen is on. As of right now, they simply flash for about half a second after pressing one. I figured the point of them would be so you can easily see the buttons and press them?
The way it is makes them very hard to find in the dark.
Am I missing something?
Agreed makes no sense the way it is
I agree 100%. When I heard they were lit I was happy and thought it'd be like on a Samsung. But these little dots are useless, you can barely see them and the only light up once you have already hit the key, anyway.
I think they are doing everything to improve battery time even if it takes away good features. Same goes for proximity wave to peek at the ambient screen. They removed that with the first update. They should give us the option if we want to waste battery on certain features.
Personally I think the current consumption of the two LED's under those capacitive buttons is so small that might not even be measurable.
So having those two LED's lit while the screen is on could only bring benefits!

Makes as much sense as a widget displaying the current weather. On some devices you can disable them without root. Perhaps they should be used as notifications on devices with no LED.
Haven't thought about that! They could easily be used for some fancy, animated notifications!

It's apparently been removed from the App store, maybe by the author.
I have the apk as an attachment on this post. If someone sees this and would like it removed, just let me know.
