I will use this phone as a second phone, so is there any "simple" tutorial to convert it to stock GPE?
I've never had or rooted any Samsung, and I know that the process varies, depends of manufacturer.

This is my first time visiting this site and so far it's awesome! Thanks for building an awesome site!
So, I bought the HTC Touch T8282 off Craigslist and I'm not sure what to do. It's all in Chinese (Traditional according to my buddy) and I don't understand it. I guess I just need to put English on there. The phone is already unlocked. I assume I need to flash my phone now...
I powered on the phone with the volume down button and see it's SPL 1.14.0liNex. I'm not really sure what else to do from here. I see a lot of really helpful guides, including http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=Blackstone/Understanding_Flashing_and_Ship.exe but I just want to make sure I'm not going to turn my new phone into a brick. If anybody can direct me to the right downloads/guides, I would great appreciate it, thanks!

Since there is a lot ov devolopers on that forum, i would like to beggin writing some small apps for beginning as well. But i don't know where to start.
If there is anyone who has a guide or a tutorial to make a first step in to devoloping, could he poste a link pleas?

Hello guys, as much as I search I try to find a good guide that learns me, not just worded guide.
I just want to flash cm11 right now and I cannot find a guide that tells me like, this is odin it does this and that you do like this and that.
Hope you understand But mainly, can someone make a guide in a reply here o link something with some small effort in it, but 2000 words isn't necessary .

Don't tale shortcuts when flashing ROMs. Especially on this kind of expensive device. Read xda. Learn about Odin, Knox, imei corruption, unbricking. Before you even start flashing.

Is there any video teaching how to do it? As a layman, I have no idea of how to do it and I’m afraid of following some bad tutorial and losing something on the process. I also don’t know if this was the best guide to follow, but when I bought my oneplus 5t, this was the video I watched : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SsIH6iauYQ
I've found some threads with a similar question, but i got lost in all the details, since i don't deeply understand the root process, so i would like to find a simple solution.

I just switched from iOS to Android and have been having a pleasant experience so far.
I don't like MIUI and have been recommended to flash a custom ROM.
I have 0 experience and am concerned about bricking my device.
I'm looking for someone who could help me with the whole process. Sorry if I'm asking for too much. :highfive:

There are plenty of guides on this site on how to flash TWRP and ROMS. Give those a read and if you still have questions, I (or anyone else here) will be happy to help you

Open a Xiaomi account, request for unlocking device, it will take 168 hours, unlock your phone via Xiaomi unlock (pc) flash twrp via fastboot, and the follow rom guide (every rom should come with it).
I guess any mi9 flashing tutorial will work fine for the 9t?
