Those people who had flashed Micromax canvas A1 Stock rom in Spice Dream UNO by SP flash tool might face IMEI unknown Error or they Cannot use their SimCards .
I also faced same problem and by doing a lot of Gooogling i found one solution to this problem.
You need things :
1. A PC, data cable and a phone.
2. MauiMETA 3G:*v6.1316.1 DO GOOLGE
3. BPLGU modem file for mt6582 DO GOOGLE
4.CDC Drivers DO GOOGLE
5. SP drivers Download Here: androidfilehost.com/?fid=23252070760972673
6. A brain.
Procedure:
1. Download all above, extract as needed.
2. Connect Phone to pc in usb debugging mode and install drivers.
3. For windows 8.1/8, move your mouse to top right corner and click on settings-power. now press and hold shift and click restart. from advance options select 7 to disable driver signing.
4. Once PC is restarted, press windows key+pause break to open system properties.
5. From left select device manager.
6. From actions menu click add legacy hardware.
7. Click next and select Install the hardware that i manually..... (advanced), click next, select show all devices, click next, click have disk, then browse, locate SP_Drivers folder and select cdc-acm.inf, click open, click ok, select MediaTEk Inc. and MediaTek USB VCOM (Android), Click next and next again, click finish.
8. Install MauiMETA and run it. Use USB COM and from Options menu select Connect smart phone in meta mode.
9. Press Reconnect and connect phone in switched off state with battery. The blinking led will become yellow and you can see "connected with target"
10. Now from drop down menu select IMEI download. Click ok till you see IMEI download box.
11. Click Change NVRAM Database FIle and browse to MT6582 DB File\MT6582\BPLGUInfoCustomAppSrcP_MT6582_S00_MOLY _WR8_W1315_MD_WG_MP_V5_1_wg_n (BPLGU modem file for mt6582). Click ok on any warning.
12. Leave IMEI Increasemnt 0. Write first 14 digits of your IMEI in IMIE box and last 15th digit will go in check sum(should be entered automatically). Eg:- if IMEI is 123456789123456, write 12345678912345 in imei and 6 in checksum. Do same for Sim_2
13. Press Download To Flash. You will see Download IMEI to flash successfully. Now close the box (or alt+f4 or close from task manager if stuck).
14. Restart the phone, see the magic. It will fix Your IMEI problem permanently even after factory reset.

Dude tried this... then i flash the Stock ROM again! .. i was really happy to see the network back.... But after 5mins it went missing. and the imei resets to "invalid" i am also facing an error while opening wifi NVRAM WARNING: ERR 0x10 ?
Any help will be appreciated bro!

First Flash Stock rom then flash IMEI . If you reflash rom then imei will again vanish. To prevent imei invalid problem you have to flash rom without flashing preloader.

You can get imei number back by following the instructions in this post .
NOTE : Type the imei number which is shown on the back side of your phone.
Once you get the imei number back and if you again reflash rom it will again wipe your imei number.
To avoid this problem you should uncheck the preloader file. Check in the attachment
Your imei number will not vanish.

Changing IMEI is illegal. But if you lose your IMEI no, then you need to manually set it. But the legal line here is narrow, you insert 1 digit wrong and you are breaking the law
becareful when you deal with IMEI number, it can be very dangerous, if something goes wrong you will be jailed. I dunno why would someone flash micromax a1 stock into spice or vice versa, it is a bad movie.

dude hi .... my system os is win 8.1 and i followed every step as u said above but my phone is not connecting (IMEI drop box is not coming ) its just charging in switch off mode nothing more than that ..... ! my phone is on android 5.1 two days back i got an ota update ..
pls suggest me if am doing any wrong steps .....
and also the procedure u said above is only for 4.4.4 or can do it in 5.1 also....? My phone is not rooted

Here is the stock Rom for spice dream uno..... It's a kitkat Rom.... It u want yo update it to lollipop just download ota update app in u r mobile and update u r device to lollipop....

Here is the stock Rom for spice dream uno..... It's a kitkat Rom.... It u want yo update it to lollipop just download ota update app in u r mobile and update u r device to lollipop....

Just perform a factory reset from recovery........and have patience for first boot after reset
For those Yureka's not being detected in Fastboot Mode follow the following steps ...
1. Download ADB and Fastboot ... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790 ... worked for me v1.1.3 ... install it and create a desktop shortcut .. (just for convenience).
2. We need to Disable Driver Signature Verification on windows 8.
>> Press the Win + C keyboard combination to bring up the Charms Bar, then click on the Settings Charm. We need to head into the Modern Control Panel, so go ahead and click on the Change PC settings link.
>> When the Control Panel opens, switch over to the “Update & recovery” section.Then click on the Recovery option on the left hand side. Once selected, you will see an advanced startup section appear on the right hand side. You will need to click on the “Restart now” button.
>> Once your Computer has rebooted you will need to choose the Troubleshoot option.Then head into Advanced options.Then Startup Settings.
>> Since we are modifying boot time configuration settings, you will need to restart your Computer one last time.Finally, you will be given a list of startup settings that you can change. The one we are looking for is “Disable driver signature enforcement”. To choose the setting, you will need to press the 7 or F7 key. Your PC will be restarted.
3. Update Drivers Manually .... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386956 .... Download and extract it to a blank folder of your preference (Say in my case I named the folder BEN123) .. Connect your phone via usb cable to the pc ...
>> Win + X ... select device manager ... In "Other Devices" you will see your Yureka as 'Android Device' ... RIght click on it ... Select Update Driver Software ...
>> Select "Browse My Computer for Software "... Click the Let me pick option ... Click Next ... Click Have Disk ... Browse to that (BEN123) folder that you created and select AndroidWinUsb.Inf ...Click Okay ...
>> Select the Driver " Asus FastBoot Interface" .... (Worked for me ... you may experiment with others if you wish !! ) ..Click Next and Keep installing the software .. You will now see your phone appear as the correct device type (Or mebbe even as a Samsung Device ... No probs there )..
>> Launch Minimal-Adb-Fastboot from the Desktop Shortcut ...
Your Yureka will SURELY be detected by both "adb devices" in normal mode & "fastboot -i 0x1ebf devices" command in bootloader mode !!!
Proceed with Unlocking Bootloader & Rooting your Yu Yureka

ADB work perfectly when the phone is on , adb devices , adb reboot recovery , etc . But not fastboot
Did not work... Device is perfectly recognized when phone is on.. but when it starts into fastboot :/

Same issue for me. Found a workaround. Just download and install pdanet software and let it detect the phone, it will install necessary drivers..

Yes, flashed LP, now on CM13
The detection worked fine but when I try to unlock the bootloader it says:

hey... my adb works perfect when the phone is switched on but it doesn't when i context or in fastboot mode when it is switched off... and this is the fastboot screen I receive.

Guys this is very helpful. Some tips for people who have issues: -----------
If your phone is not getting detected in fastboot then please install pdanet+ software on the computer and connect the mobile via USB cable. Also follow the steps given in this very first thread to enable options in your computer during advanced reboot of your computer
If your phone gets stuck on the ****ty purple YU logo then do not worry, you can flash stock ROM by using youtube video by Jay Kapoor
Never forget to always check if you have enabled the USB debugging in the mobile. After a clear cache or dalvic cache, the option should be enabled again. This is very important.
If you want to Root your phone / install TWRP recovery then use the youtube video of Jay Kapoor. Search for "yu yureka root jay kapoor"
I am writing this after painstaking days of troubleshooting and also due to my mistake I had to get the phone repaired as I opened it all up. Never open your phone, it voids the warranty.
Let me tell you that almost all other videos are not having everything step by step, but in this one it is all step by step, thanks to Jay Kapoor and the Maharashtrian guy who made RR

Phone detect and driver installed success but flash tool not detect as fastboot device.....

How can we use the Cyanogen recovery to install supersu without unlocking the bootloader. OR
can any one create a .zip which can be flashed to unlock the bootloader from cyanogen recovery and then root it.

I am also facing same problems. Phone is not detecting from PC in fastboot mode.
Hello, the bootloader needs to be unlocked in order to flash super user. The best and easiest way of unlocking the bootloader is using fastboot and a computer. Link mentioned in the previous post.

I was also facing the same problem but i got rid of it by following this way :-
1)connect your device in fast boot mode
2)go to mycomputer----right click on my computer and select manage --------device manager---andriod on right pane-----you will find yellow mark on the andriod devices------
3)now right click on that yellow marked one ans select "update driver software" and click on 2nd option -----browse my computer for driver harware-----
4)now select the option "LET ME PICK FROM A LIST OF DEVICE DRIVERS ...." and list of drivers are displayed in the box available in PC
5)now find a name like YUPHONE ------similar name because i forgot the name after doing, name starts with Y---- in the list
6)select and install that and your driver will be installed and now you can root and waiting for the device problem will not appear again while rooting.

I 've spend a long time on this forum and i've found a lot of interesting and useful tips.
I'm in a bad situation today and I can not find a solution so i thank you for the time spent reading this.
Yesterday i've seen an icon on my desktop and i couldn't remember what application it is. I clicked and it was the beginning of an endless nightmare... A huge lag began by making the phone unusable and apps was installing one after one...
When it has calmed down a bit, i tried to install cleaning softwares but i couldn't do anything so I tried to do a factory reset. After that... the malware was still here... So i've decided to clean all by installing a new ROM.
This is a Jiayu S3 4G 5.5 Inch MT6752 Octa Core RAM 3GB 1080P Screen Dual SIM 4G LTE Mobile Phone (invoice description) so i wanted to try the CM12.1 for Jiayu S3 (found on needrom).
My phone was Rooted and TWRP was installed so i've copied the ROM files on a SD card, rebooted in recovery mode, wiped cache, data, dalvic and system and tried to install the new ROM. it was abnormally rapid and now the phone bootloops.
The only thing i can do is activate Fastboot (if i choose normal boot or recovery it continues to bootloop).
I've tried to flash recovery with :
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
but i get an error message : FAILED (remote : partition 'recovery' not support flash).
Does anyone has ever been in this situation and solved it ?

I got exactly the same problem. Did you find a solution?
My phone is in a bootloop, I can only access to the fastboot mode. (fastboot devices show my device).
In this mode, I can't flash my recovery.img:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img --> partition 'recovery' not support flash.
I can't see my device with the command adb devices (adb devices doesn't show my device, I think because USB debugging is off, but i can't switch it on)
Did someone find a solution ?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks !
That's the behavior of a wrong preloader that was flashed / malware that affected preloader.
Grab a full spftools ROM set, and flash the entire ROM using " upgrade mode"

PS: on s3 you need to have both volume buttons pressed, then you can press download on the spft.
PPS: this will destroy all of your data, so back it up first ..

There is no special mode, please serach the forum on how to use sptools, i am sure you will find plenty of them.

Ok, I got it !
My problem came from the drivers... But not the ADB drivers, the preloader drivers.
In the Windows device manager, when I plugged my phone (previously swithced off), I got a "MT65xx Preloader" device with a warning. Be careful, this item stay 2 or 3 seconds before disappearing ! This driver wasn't installed correctly, that's why Flash Tools didn't worked for me (it didn't see my phone) !
So, I got the driver on the web, by typing "MT65xx Preloader driver", I got the drivers that I installed. This guide gave me the files and a method to install them:

To install the driver, you can set up manually by right clicking on the "MT65xx Preloader" > "Update drivers". Then, browse to the drivers you previously downloaded (a folder containing .inf and .sys files). Windows should detect the driver and install it.
To check if the preloader driver is correctly installed, power off your phone and unplug it, them plug it. Instead of the previous "MT65xx Preloader" entry, you should now see a "MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM Port" under "Ports (COM & LPT)" (same as before, this item is displayed only 2-3 seconds...).
Now that the preloader driver is correctly installed, Flash Tools works for me. I successfully flashed a new rom I got from needrom.com (a full set, as suggested by superdragonpt), and my phone boots now =)

First of all hi I'm new in this thread,
I have installed everything correctly but I still have only 3 seconds before my phone showes the the charging icon and disconnects.

when i am connecting my lg g2 to pc via usb many partitions pops up
and my device in the device mangaer seen as "qhsusb_bulk"
i have tried a guide using SRKTOOL, it did change my device name in the device manager to "marshall london hs-usb diagnostics 9006"
but nothing more, nothing less.
another thing that i just thoght about is -
when the partitions pops up, i can open one of them and inside there's folder named "image"
but when i try change it (delete,modify and more...) it says that the usb got write protection.
Iam dessperate pls help

First of all Try SRKTOOL method again by just attaching your phone and running srktool accordingly .........
Its the only way to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!
