[SOLUTION] Turn off vibration of home and back key on Nokia X2 - X2 General

well there we are, at last found a way to turn haptic feedback off on my x2 without gravitybox or xposed module,,,
so,lets start,
1st of all ur phone must be rooted .
step 1: download this app , ''apps ops" from here : http://f.apk4fun.com/f.php?p=872&i=...AzK29CZz09&d=ZUxCdS8ydm9iYXBGUk04bWtCM3lQZz09
after installing open the app , there will be 2 options ,
1.native apps ops
2.install apps opps x .
select option 2.
it will install ''apps ops'' automically to the system, then manually reboot the device .
now,after rebooting
u will see an app in ur app drawer named , 'apps opps X'
open 'apps opps X' app
u will see many apps there , select 'system'(android system not the system ui)
there will many permission turned on, just turn of 'vibrate' from there nd its done !!!
haptic of home nd back will be turned off
u can also turn off the vibrte of alarm clock by the same process .
*dont change any other permissions unless u understand, zust turn off the vribate not anything else
*u can also hibernate the app after work is done..
*thank u

[Q] Rooting my X8

Hello, first of all im really sory if i post this on the wrong section. Im new to this rooting things, just got my Xperia X8 yesterday as i broke my N86 last week
Heres my question..can i know what the advantage and disadvantage of rooting?
just hear a lot about rooting the good and the bad..and if possible, could someone lead me on rooting my X8? the simplest way?
And can someone recommended me for any app after rooting?
TVVM!
My X8 is E15i..2.1 -update 1..Kernel:2.6.29..Build No: 2.1.1.A.0.6.
man rooting your phone is really goood i dont think that there are problems when u root your phone if u have backup. See the simpliest way to root your phone is with the superoneclick programm
1. go to settings-> applications -> development and turn the usb debugging on i suggest u to change your phone language to english so it will be easiest.
2. go to settings-> sd card, usb mass storage & phone storage
click on UNMOUNT SD CARD
3.Download the attachment.
4. open superoneclick and press root but make sure that the sd card is unmount and the usb debbuging on
5. reboot and you are ready
I am stacked at the next step which is to install the x recovery
if u think i helped u thank me

First of all there are many things u can do with root u can install costum roms and get the 2.3 update but i dont use it because it isnt stable.X recovery is a very good thing that lets you to update your system if u have the rom downloaded. In order to buckup u have to download app from market but i insist u to root first witht the superoneclick and then download titanium backup which is an app that requiers superuser permission ( when u root u will find an icon called superuser ) it will automatically ask u to allow the app or not u press allow. Also an other good app u have to use is the root explorer which is paid but if u google rootexplorer.apk u can find it free and install it when u will try to install it i will say that it doesnt accept apps whch isnt from market and a pop up window will come up. There u press settings and u click the first box so it will allow ou to install the app. Free noramlly it costs 4.59$ . Also an other good app is Adfree which removes the advs from the apps. U can also use market unlocked if u want to check an app which isnt free. Download it from market after u root of course. When u download it run it and click the first box nammed SYT and then go ot the market and buy your pay app. I wil be here to help you again if u want something after all these. Something more when u root your phone go to market and search root apps and it will show u the apps that requiers root permission. U cant download Xrecovery this is a nxt step first do all these and then let me know if u want the Xrecovery. Also download the busybox from the app and istall the 1.17. These for now when u do them make a reply with what else u want.
Thank if me i helped u

Man if u hadnt made a backup i dont think u can fix this but i think that u can fix it if u make update manually to 2.2 but u have to have the xrecovery install first. If u find out how to fix it without update ok then post here in order to help you to install the xrecovery and update to 2.2

than its work with SOC 1.3
before i use SOC, i select USB debugging
when i connect the phone, i just cancel it (don't mount)
then push Root.. walah... never fail for 10 times.
one more thing, u should install pc companion to get x8 driver in your comp.

He means go to CWM - Recovery Modus and the FixPermissions Option in Advanced mode...
DalvikCache Wiping is in Advanced Mode too...
This is for a System other than Windows Mobile !
I think he is talking about Windows Mobile and not Android.
So those solutions won't work. Try to delete the game's folder from "Program Files".
Yea em using WM 6.5... i have deleted it from Program file, start up and start menu but still in list of installed program...

Fix for Play Store disconnect after reboot.

If u have installed play-store via Nokia X tools 1.2 then you are familiar with this issue, Play-store gets disconnected after reboot. I have tried several method and this is the easiest. After reboot go to settings/ Time and date, disable automatic time update, advance time for one day. Now open Play-store, if it shows disconnected then press retry. Try to manually close it in recent apps if play-store is opened once after reboot. When play-store is working fine you can turn on automatic time update to fix the time. Hope it helps Press thanks if it helps.

Have verified, but failed. I know another some solutions for the connection issue.
1. Remove Google Account and add it again.
2.Use Nokia X tools 1.2 remove your google apps and add it again.
3.Go to setting->Accounts, choose your google account and go to account sync, you will find some items can't be synced now. And you need uncheck them, then open google play again. It will be ok.
About the solution3, I haven't verified it. But today I sovled this issue with solution3. My google contacts can't be synced. I unchecked it and google play is ok. My version is 2.1.0.11

2.Flash ur phone {stock rom} ( Oh yes i did said that)
3. Root using nokia x2 tools. install custom recovery [http://www.mediafire.com/download/eu9kwxptmc93dau/NOKIA_X2_CUSTOM_RECOVERY.zip]

5.Install Play Store(Nokia x2 tools)
6.Here You have to restore . **But dont perform backup from recovery ( evrything will b undone)
Use "Nandroid Manager" and browse to ur saved backup image and individually select apps and restore its data.
7. Enjoy!!

(found here: http://www.xda-developers.com/xposed-modules-to-install-right-now-on-lollipop )
App Settings [Lollipop Alternative by rovo89] [1]:
This was by far one of my favorite Xposed modules back when I wasn’t running Lollipop, and certainly the one I missed the most. With this baby you can change DPI per app (which allows you to keep whatever DPI you want on the rest of the SystemUI), as well as the application’s font scale, immersive mode, RAM pinning, and insistent notifications for those that don’t want to miss their valentine’s texts (and lose their heads over it).
Xposed GEL Settings [1][2]:
For those fans of the “pure Google experience”, this module can let you further customize your Google Launcher by letting you hide the search bar or individual applications, change grid, icon and text sizes, remove labels and more. It doesn’t make it quite as flexible as Nova, but it’s definitely a good module to have for those that love the Google integration of their launcher, and the cleanness and optimization of it.
RootCloak [1]:
Some apps detect root and either prevent access or limit your features as a preemptive method for security. While it is understandable some might want to further fortify their application, us XDA tinkerers can be left out of services due to this. This module hides root for the apps you choose, simple as that. We can’t specifically tell you what to use this module for, but if you’ve had problems like this before, look no further.
Advanced Power Menu+ [1]: This module lets you customize the power menu of your phone to add or remove items in any order you want. There are extra reboot options (soft boot, recovery boot, bootloader), a screenshot option, a quick-dial to call whoever, some connection toggles and a handy flashlight. I always have advanced power menus on my phones, and an Xposed module alternative is much easier than flashing additional zip’s. If this doesn’t work for you, the new Lollipop Power Menu module might.
XToast [1]:
This was one of my favorites back then, as it lets you add the Toast notification’s app origin into the message box by adding the corresponding app’s icon. That in itself makes it useful, but you can also customize said icon and add the name, or change the toast style back to older versions. The duration, transparency and where it appears also can be chosen. Basically, toasts are at your control to make them more informative and personal. You won’t know how awesome it is until you try it!
Lollipop Notification Ticker [1]:
This one was meant to restore the ticker on the status bar that informed you of the contents of your latest notifications. It was made before Xposed for Lollipop came out, which was a daring move that worked… partially. According to reports, it breaks heads-up notifications alongside fixing the ticker. If you dislike those in the first place, though, you might want to give it a try.
Native Clip board [1]:
Copying and pasting on smartphones was never the most fluid thing, nor the most consistent. This module adds clip-board management straight to the text-selection menu, and it allows you to theme the new menu, black-list apps and further customize it. If you happen to be working on your phone because there’s a document you might need to edit on the bus, this will prove useful.
BootManager :
A must-have to those that want their device to be slim and efficient on boot. This module allows you to select which applications run when you power up your device, and those that don’t get allowed to do so usually stay dormant until you fire them up. If you’ve got a good amount of things that you don’t need right away but are hesitant to greenify, this can alleviate the dilemma of your user experience.

I followed all steps correctly. I have a Moto E XT1022 running Android 5.0.2. I first installed apk and then went to twrp to falsh the zip file. It flashed without any problem. Then I wiped the Cache and Dalvik-Cache. Then I rebooted my phone to system but it didn't. It was stuck at the bootloader unlocked warning. I am able to go to bootloader and to the recovery but I am unable to boot into the system. Please help.

Then I wiped the Cache and Dalvik-Cache. Then I rebooted my phone to system but it didn't. It was stuck at the bootloader unlocked warning. I am able to go to bootloader and to the recovery but I am unable to boot into the system. Please help.

No I hadn't taken a backup and lollipop rom wasn't flashing. What I did was downgrade it to 4.4.4 and then updated it to 5.0.2 and then rooted it!! I guess I had to pay for not taking a backup!!! Anyway, thanks for your help.

Thanks . Actually I was looking for a different answer. I know that the only method to uninstall is to flash ROM again , but I thought probably I was missing something. Anyway Thanks a lot.

As the word "Useful" varies user to user. Here are some apps those I always keep on my rooted phone.
Titanium backup:-Helps to backup games+apps even with data. The most needy app as I am Flashaholic.Lol
Es file explorer:-My favorite file manager. You don't need root for normal using. But for advance use(like editing system file, set permission to system files etc) root is needed.
Ad blocker:-Help you to get rid of annoying add on web pages.
Tasker:-Apps for little bit of more advance user.Helps you to automate your device.Such as ,I want to silent my phone when I am school,it automatically does that.
Xposed:-There are several module in Xposed by which U can taste the flavours of such things those are not present on your ROM.There are a long list of modules.Just check it.
Greenify+Amplify+power nap+App oops Xposed:-Battery back up is Bad.Just give it a try.For instruction check here.
Viper4android+Dolby Atmos(optional):-A must apps for music lovers. It comes with its own driver.U can Controll many parameters of music sound.
Kernel adiutor:-Helps you to take control of various Kernel parameters.Just use it with little bit of concern.
Battery calibrator:-Useful apps If battery monitor is showing wrong information.Use it when U flash different Roms like me.
Link2sd:-Helps you to move app over to Sdcard.Smae as Apps2sd but works in different way(by creating link). Don't know if it will work in marshmallow or nougat. As there is now adaptable storage now.
Flashify or Rashr:-Don't have PC all time.Helps you to flash zip or image file without rebooting to recover, including zip file, kernels, boot image, recovery image etc.
Servicely:-Sometime some apps keep running at background and consume battery. This apps helps you to prevent those apps from running in background.
Root call blocker:-If your ROM don't come with call blocker option .This is a useful app.
There are also many apps like Lucky patcher,Wakelock blocker,Rom toolbox,Dumpster,GL tools,Gravity box,Sdfix etc,U can use.
Just make sure what U R doing before using most of those apps.As mishandling some apps may cause brick your phone.

If the stock kernel(coming with ur ROM) supports DT2W then there should be an option in kernel adiutor. If not then then there will be no option. If u want DT2W then u have to use another kernel which supports that.Look into your devices forum.

Which version of Android are you on?
The best way of flashing t.w.r.p is by fastboot.
1)Setup ADB and Fastboot on your PC.
2)Open a command window inside the folder where your TWRP recovery .img file is saved. To do that, “Shift + Right click” on any empty white space inside the folder and then select “Open command window here” from the context menu.
3)Connect your device to the PC, make sure USB debugging is enabled from Developer options.
4)Boot your Lenovo A6000 into Bootloader mode using the command below:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
5)Once your phone boots into bootloader mode, issue the following command to flash TWRP recovery image:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
6)Reboot your phone using the following command:
Code:
fastboot reboot
U can flash T.w.r.p.img by flashify or rashr app available on playstore. There should be an option like"flash/install recovery from SD card".Select the image file from there and flash it.
KitKat 4.4.4
How to install TWRP in Lenovo a6000 mobile.. please give me links adb and fastboot file download links..and give me installation process
