App Settings [Lollipop Alternative by rovo89] [1]:
This was by far one of my favorite Xposed modules back when I wasn’t running Lollipop, and certainly the one I missed the most. With this baby you can change DPI per app (which allows you to keep whatever DPI you want on the rest of the SystemUI), as well as the application’s font scale, immersive mode, RAM pinning, and insistent notifications for those that don’t want to miss their valentine’s texts (and lose their heads over it).
Xposed GEL Settings [1][2]:
For those fans of the “pure Google experience”, this module can let you further customize your Google Launcher by letting you hide the search bar or individual applications, change grid, icon and text sizes, remove labels and more. It doesn’t make it quite as flexible as Nova, but it’s definitely a good module to have for those that love the Google integration of their launcher, and the cleanness and optimization of it.
RootCloak [1]:
Some apps detect root and either prevent access or limit your features as a preemptive method for security. While it is understandable some might want to further fortify their application, us XDA tinkerers can be left out of services due to this. This module hides root for the apps you choose, simple as that. We can’t specifically tell you what to use this module for, but if you’ve had problems like this before, look no further.
Advanced Power Menu+ [1]: This module lets you customize the power menu of your phone to add or remove items in any order you want. There are extra reboot options (soft boot, recovery boot, bootloader), a screenshot option, a quick-dial to call whoever, some connection toggles and a handy flashlight. I always have advanced power menus on my phones, and an Xposed module alternative is much easier than flashing additional zip’s. If this doesn’t work for you, the new Lollipop Power Menu module might.
XToast [1]:
This was one of my favorites back then, as it lets you add the Toast notification’s app origin into the message box by adding the corresponding app’s icon. That in itself makes it useful, but you can also customize said icon and add the name, or change the toast style back to older versions. The duration, transparency and where it appears also can be chosen. Basically, toasts are at your control to make them more informative and personal. You won’t know how awesome it is until you try it!
Lollipop Notification Ticker [1]:
This one was meant to restore the ticker on the status bar that informed you of the contents of your latest notifications. It was made before Xposed for Lollipop came out, which was a daring move that worked… partially. According to reports, it breaks heads-up notifications alongside fixing the ticker. If you dislike those in the first place, though, you might want to give it a try.
Native Clip board [1]:
Copying and pasting on smartphones was never the most fluid thing, nor the most consistent. This module adds clip-board management straight to the text-selection menu, and it allows you to theme the new menu, black-list apps and further customize it. If you happen to be working on your phone because there’s a document you might need to edit on the bus, this will prove useful.
BootManager :
A must-have to those that want their device to be slim and efficient on boot. This module allows you to select which applications run when you power up your device, and those that don’t get allowed to do so usually stay dormant until you fire them up. If you’ve got a good amount of things that you don’t need right away but are hesitant to greenify, this can alleviate the dilemma of your user experience.

I followed all steps correctly. I have a Moto E XT1022 running Android 5.0.2. I first installed apk and then went to twrp to falsh the zip file. It flashed without any problem. Then I wiped the Cache and Dalvik-Cache. Then I rebooted my phone to system but it didn't. It was stuck at the bootloader unlocked warning. I am able to go to bootloader and to the recovery but I am unable to boot into the system. Please help.

No I hadn't taken a backup and lollipop rom wasn't flashing. What I did was downgrade it to 4.4.4 and then updated it to 5.0.2 and then rooted it!! I guess I had to pay for not taking a backup!!! Anyway, thanks for your help.

[Z3][5.0.2][LB][Lollipop][stock] Steps for working Xposed video proof

First i'm not responsible whatever happens to your device.
Maybe working and other devices. never tested.
i saw a lot of people here missed their Xposed after update to Lollipop LB.
i found a way and i want to share it .
Edit: Now recovery works http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59879026&postcount=3837 thanks to @zxz0O0 and @[NUT].
Before start make a nandroid backup via recovery and start from step 4.
Edit
video proof https://youtu.be/HKz1t8WKtQE of working Xposed
at Z3 D6603 LOCKED bootloader stock Lollipop .690
I tested 3 xposed modules
1.Greenify WORKS perfect
2.20mp superiorauto works
3.xprivacy i get bootloop and start all over again.
4. Gravity box WORKS
Edit: my Z3: prerooted .690 5.0.2 lollipop (baltic) D6603 if this helps
Now i have only Greenify module and after 50 reboots never had bootloop
maybe there are many module for 5.0.2 but never tested
What you see below is what i have done with my Z3 5.0.2 Lollipop LOCKED Bootloader
Steps for a working Xposed without bootloops at Z3 5.0.2 Lollipop
make backup via titanium backup or whatever
1. Downgrade .93 4.4.4 fresh ftf install with full wipes
2. root and install Z3-lockeddualrecovery2.8.3-RELEASE.installer
3. boot recovery, factory reset and install prerooted .690 5.0.2 lollipop zip (baltic)
4. not reboot. install xposed-arm-20150308.zip file via recovery
5. not reboot. install UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip
6. wipe dalvik/cache
7. boot system enable usb debugging, allow mock locations, disable verify apps .EDIT i don't know if that helps
8. install titanium backup
9. remove useless system apps via titanium backup (especially everything small apps even framework-small-apps) here i had force close reboot.
if not continue to 10. otherwise boot and continue to 10.
10. clean dalvik cache via titanium backup
11. reboot system
12. install clear cache app or other and clear dalvik cache (real clear). or boot recovery and clean dalvik cache
13. reboot wait art do the job
14. install XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha2.apk
15. reboot
16. install Greenify(2.6.1) module
17. reboot
18. done
Edit: if not work try install XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha2.apk before wipes and remove useless apss(step 9.). Not reboot before clean dalvik cache via titanium backup. and install Greenify(2.6.1) or Gravity box module at the end. not before.
The easy way maybe is the hard way
Greenify is supposed to work without xposed. Could you try gravity box?
Maybe ? much luck, oddly enough did that process and then I installed the apk Xposed and reset the machine gave bootloop
do you try Gravity Box ? , Greenify can work without Xposed
Bootlop
Gravity box WORKS
did you try with downgrade and full wipes ?
and try install xposed apk before wipes and remove useless apss(step 9.)
remove useless system apps via titanium backup (especially everything small apps even framework-small-apps) how many small apps you find and unistall it ?
some days before i tried with different steps and not worked.
and what about 20MP SuperiorAuto module ?? is it working ??

even in first boot with prerooted lollipop or kk i had system rw.
i don't why. many people in here have problem with rw.
i read somewhere here in xda that if you have enable usb debugging and connetct to flashtool problem solved. never need to tested.
the first thing i do every time to boot to a new rom is enable usb debugging, allow mock locations, disable verify apps and enable unknown sources.
if that helps

Namespace separation disabled seems to be only necessary for ES File Explorer. If you use Root Explorer maybe you don't need to disable. Didn't tried, but I have rw working this way. For terminal I didn't need to disable, just for ES

[LP][5.X][XPERIA] Debloating script for xperia phones running LP

***LOOKING FOR A ALL-IN-ONE SOLUTION? THAT'S AVAILABLE FOR Z3C USERS ONLY, IF INTERESTED GO HERE***
I guys, I share with you my debloating script for those interested in a higly DEBLOATED LP installation, very slimmed down, battery friendly, faster, with less RAM comsuption etc
Heavily debloated actually means almost 1 gb of system stuff moved to a backup folder (that you can even delete or move to sdcards to get 1gb extra free space in /system) so applying my script you agree to debloat A LOT as I did but take care that you will have a much lighter system and still you will be able to restore very easily anything you want anytime moving stuff back from the backup folder to /system (detailed instructions for that below in this thread).
NOTES
1. as all the stuff object of my debloating script is going to be placed in /system when flashing the pre-rooted FW, it is strongly suggested to apply my script immediately after flashing the pre-rooted LP FW and before rebooting, this way all that stuff will be moved away, and it is like it was never installed (at first boot no optimizations for those apps, means faster first boot etc)
2. as said above, all the bloat is not really deleted but moved to a Backup folder in system (/system/__Backup) so you can restore anything you want very easily. that's the reason you can see /system partition still almost full in spite of my high debloat, but stuff moved to the backup folder is "silent", so for sure it is not affecting the system at all and it is like it is not installed: I use this approach for people who needs to restore something, this way restoring is very very easy and fast. By the way, deleting the whole Backup folder (or moving it to your sdcard) you will then see something like 1.1 gb extra free space in /system!!
3. using different FW as base you may have some more bloat/apks, not present in my FW, that will remain installed. In this case, if you think there is some bloat left that could be removed, please send me a list of all your system apps remained after debloating, so i can check them (you can easily do that via terminal with 'ls /system/app > /sdcard/sysapps.txt' and 'ls /system/priv-app > /sdcard/privapps.txt' and send me the resultant text files)

Procedure for all xperia phones running LP: (like all Z series)
Requirements:
- working recovery
- be on LP already, 5.0.2 or 5.1.1, doesn't matter
Installation:
1. full nandroid backup to eventually go back to previous any time
2. wipe data, cache and dalvik ***
3. flash my debloating script
4. that's all! reboot/enjoy
*** NOTES
You can skip wiping data, so you'll keep all your personal data! But please mind that not wiping data during the installation procedure the debloat will not be 100% effective: in fact, if you don't wipe data, all the sony apps installed in /data/app won't be removed by the script! (to remove them, you'll have to uninstall them manually from settings > apps > downloaded)
Click to collapse
RESULT
As said at the top, you'll get a very slimmed down LP FW, battery friendly, very fast, with less RAM comsuption etc
Of course, everything is working great here, I mean all the features I need/use!
In particular, with latest version of my script you are going to delete more than 160 packages in total with all relevant libs/stuff plus all applications automatically installed by Sony :good:
DISCLAIMER
If you apply my script again please take care I did a pretty massive debloat as I don't use a lot of stuff (social apps, small apps, many of the sony "addons"/special settings etc!!) and this is a working config for me, but for others some functionalities will be probably missing, so mind what you do before apply them! (but again you can restore anything anytime, if interested just continue the reading)

REMOVED STUFF
As said at the beginning, with my script, stuff is not going to be deleted anymore, but moved in /system/__Backup folder. This way you can restore things without the need to download them from my GDrive.
HOW TO RESTORE SOMETHING
PS. of course I also removed from my FW all the stuff that can be easily downloaded from the Play Store (Gmail, etc)
In the hidden field below you will find the restoring instructions you need to follow to restore any package you may want back:
According to what you want to restore, you have to follow two different procedures:
- all the APKs that are inside /system/__Backup/various/etc_custom_apps and /system/__Backup/various/etc_prod_apps are regular APKs that are going to be installed in /data, so you can just run them and then select "install" like a normal APK, easy. You will then see them in Settings > applications > downloaded
- instead, all the things in /system/__Backup/system_app and /system/__Backup/system_priv-app folders can't be normally installed, but must be restored in the correct /system folders with correct permissions. To do this, see the step-by-step instructions below (in the following example, I am going to restore Chrome app in /system/app and Velvet (Google Search) in /system/priv-app, but of course you can restore how many things as you want at the same time)
Code:
- with a root file manager like ES, go to /system/__Backup/system_app and MOVE the whole "Chrome" folder to /system/app
- with a root file manager like ES, go to /system/__Backup/system_priv-app and MOVE the whole "Velvet" folder to /system/priv-app
- reboot
- done
PS. don't copy but MOVE things back, or permissions will get messed up and you are likely to end up in a bootloop!
Many THANKS @ondrejvaroscak and @Puffin617 for some very good advices, @mj084 for some packages descriptions :good:

don't think so. in fact, several people who flashed and installed xposed directly on stock FW, had bootloops. others have problems with play store in deodexed, so I think, at least here and IMHO, best combo is odexed but debloated.
of course you can remove less stuff, that will be also much safer. if and when I post a text list of what I removed, I can maybe highlight dangerous apps that people should be careful with, or add notes for some apps that maybe is not so easy to understand what they are for
EDIT: I always prefer manual things, so I always manually move apps to a temporary location and then delete them

Perfect Bro @moly82 will work on it to launch a FW Debloated stable.
So do we know which app it is that you removed that fixed the xposed issue? I don't buy the "just delete a bunch of stuff and xposed will work", there must be one or a combination of apps that are causing the bootloops.

well, you are free to investigate [emoji14]
always when i flash a stock fw i immediately remove a lot of useless (for me) stuff.. this time I had already deleted something like 120 useless apps before flashing xposed and seeing it was working fine.. so that's not so easy for me at this time to understand exactly what is causing bootloops for some people and actually, even if it wouldn't be impossible to find that out, that's not interesting for me so don't see a point in losing extra time in that research sorry (I'm already wasting too much time in debloat operations [emoji14] )

@moly82: you are the greatest ... finally I got xposed framework without bootloop!! Thank you so much!!
no problem mate glad it was helpful for someone else!
yesterday I added a few more xposed modules, and still no bootloops at all (right now I'm using GB, apm+, youtube adway, youtube background playback, xperia/AOSP NavBar Buttons :good: )
btw did you delete all (or most of the) the apps in my list? and before debloating you had bootloops?
because I immediately debloated and only then I installed xposed, so was wondering if maybe also installing xposed without debloating could be working actually as never tried here this way
in any case, just testing right now some more debloat... would like to increase the debloat list... will update OP if I find it safe and will have no problems after new deletions

Guide to install Xposed Installer[even CM 12.1],. list of working &non working module
hi guys,..lets install xposed installer...btw we got official support for 5.0.x and 5.1.x...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
WARNING: after installation dont try every modules for now..try one by one and keep stock img incase of bootloop..[although there is option for uninstalling xposed installer through adb] and I'm not responsible for bricked phone, try on your own risk
Before installing, sdk21 is for android 5.0.x and sdk22 is for Android 5.1.x (cm12.1) please remember this
Steps:
First You need Root- see here
then after obtaining root ,install busybox from here . After installation, open app and click install..
Now there are 2 methods.. 1] twrp flashing and 2]using ADB ...can use any ,choose which is easy for you
TWRP method
[Note: just download whatever version is available in the link below, just make sure it is has x86 and sort off like the files which i am mentioned below]
Go here get XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk, xposed-v78-sdk21-x86.zip,xposed-uninstaller-x86.zip, [these three enough for us]
place the xposed-v78-sdk21-x86.zip,xposed-uninstaller-x86.zip,XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk in SD...
install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk as normal apk
goto twrp, then flash xposed-v78-sdk21-x86.zip,reboot thats all..it will wipe cache,so ur apps will optimized
if u had bootloop due to xposed at some point..use twrp and flash xposed-uninstaller-x86.zip thats all..
ADB method
download the zip from here
extract the zip anyhere and connect the switched ON zenfone 2 with USB ( usb debugging must be on)
launch InstallXposedFramework.bat ,wait till framework installation is finished (phone cache will be wiped and will reboot)
Launch InstallXposedInstaller.bat to install xposed apk. and thats it.
after installing ur xposed will look like this PIC and this PIC or see the attachment for more pics on verifications
if u had bootloop due to xposed at some point..plug the phone while bootloop,..use RemoveXposedFramework.bat from that folder..thats all
TWRP method For CM12.1 [NO MORE RANDOM BOOTLOOP]
[Note: just download whatever version is available in the link below, just make sure it is has x86 and sort off like the files which i am mentioned below]
Go here get xposed-v78-sdk22-x86.zip, xposed-uninstaller-x86.zip, XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk,
place the xposed-v78-sdk22-x86.zip,xposed-uninstaller-x86.zip,XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk in SD
install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk as normal apk
goto twrp, then flash xposed-v78-sdk22-x86.zip,reboot thats all..it will wipe cache,so ur apps will optimized
if u open and see the framework it would be like this PIC
if u had bootloop due to xposed at some point..use twrp and flash xposed-uninstaller-x86.zip thats all..
download modules,enjoy xposed
To update Xposed framework :
Using twrp [get the latest xposed-v78-sdk2x-x86.zip alone flash it ]
using adb [get the zip from here ,then just double click InstallXposedFramework.bat ,and wait for reboot....thats all]
credits to @romracer for his v5.1 xposed ,. @Chinaphonearena for rooting guide, @ilos for steps of xposed installing, @shakalaca, @sorg and @rovo89
Note:if you try any module please tell the feedback on this thread.. I will add them in list, and sometimes some modules gives bootloop but while bootloop, press and hold the power button.. It will switch off, now start again.. Do this for 3 or 4 times and wait for 5 mins in each start..

seems like your xposed module list is incompatible with current xposed modules that you installed on your phone..i read it somewhere before, android 5.0 seems to have bug when you installed xposed on it, but forgot on how to fix it..maybe you should check if you have some incompatible xposed module installed..

As the word "Useful" varies user to user. Here are some apps those I always keep on my rooted phone.
Titanium backup:-Helps to backup games+apps even with data. The most needy app as I am Flashaholic.Lol
Es file explorer:-My favorite file manager. You don't need root for normal using. But for advance use(like editing system file, set permission to system files etc) root is needed.
Ad blocker:-Help you to get rid of annoying add on web pages.
Tasker:-Apps for little bit of more advance user.Helps you to automate your device.Such as ,I want to silent my phone when I am school,it automatically does that.
Xposed:-There are several module in Xposed by which U can taste the flavours of such things those are not present on your ROM.There are a long list of modules.Just check it.
Greenify+Amplify+power nap+App oops Xposed:-Battery back up is Bad.Just give it a try.For instruction check here.
Viper4android+Dolby Atmos(optional):-A must apps for music lovers. It comes with its own driver.U can Controll many parameters of music sound.
Kernel adiutor:-Helps you to take control of various Kernel parameters.Just use it with little bit of concern.
Battery calibrator:-Useful apps If battery monitor is showing wrong information.Use it when U flash different Roms like me.
Link2sd:-Helps you to move app over to Sdcard.Smae as Apps2sd but works in different way(by creating link). Don't know if it will work in marshmallow or nougat. As there is now adaptable storage now.
Flashify or Rashr:-Don't have PC all time.Helps you to flash zip or image file without rebooting to recover, including zip file, kernels, boot image, recovery image etc.
Servicely:-Sometime some apps keep running at background and consume battery. This apps helps you to prevent those apps from running in background.
Root call blocker:-If your ROM don't come with call blocker option .This is a useful app.
There are also many apps like Lucky patcher,Wakelock blocker,Rom toolbox,Dumpster,GL tools,Gravity box,Sdfix etc,U can use.
Just make sure what U R doing before using most of those apps.As mishandling some apps may cause brick your phone.

If the stock kernel(coming with ur ROM) supports DT2W then there should be an option in kernel adiutor. If not then then there will be no option. If u want DT2W then u have to use another kernel which supports that.Look into your devices forum.

Which version of Android are you on?
The best way of flashing t.w.r.p is by fastboot.
1)Setup ADB and Fastboot on your PC.
2)Open a command window inside the folder where your TWRP recovery .img file is saved. To do that, “Shift + Right click” on any empty white space inside the folder and then select “Open command window here” from the context menu.
3)Connect your device to the PC, make sure USB debugging is enabled from Developer options.
4)Boot your Lenovo A6000 into Bootloader mode using the command below:
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
5)Once your phone boots into bootloader mode, issue the following command to flash TWRP recovery image:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
6)Reboot your phone using the following command:
Code:
fastboot reboot
U can flash T.w.r.p.img by flashify or rashr app available on playstore. There should be an option like"flash/install recovery from SD card".Select the image file from there and flash it.

well its a script. You don't need rooted for that . Just need TWRP to be installed to flash the script.
Just a few comments.
1. Why don't you just post the script? Perhaps people don't want you to delete their clock or FM radio. What you're providing just doesn't make any sense. If you wanna write a debloater, at least let people choose what they can delete.

Not sure this is the reason for taking that long. I can install an entire ROM in 5 min. So I guess, it's a partially broken script causing it. E.g. there is no "unmount", it should be "umount".
Code:
run_program("/sbin/busybox","unmount","/data");
run_program("/sbin/busybox","unmount","/system");
