That may be due to apps in sdcard (.android_secure), so if it deletes you can get those back after restoring.

Introduction
MultiROM is one-of-a-kind multi-boot mod for XIAOMI MI2/2S/2C. It can boot any Android ROM as well as other systems like Ubuntu Touch, Plasma Active, Bohdi Linux or WebOS port.Besides booting from device's internal memory, MultiROM can boot from USB drive connected to the device via OTG cable. The main part of MultiROM is a boot manager, which appears every time your device starts and lets you choose ROM to boot. You can see how it looks on the left image below and in gallery. ROMs are installed and managed via modified TWRP recovery. You can use standard ZIP files to install secondary Android ROMs, daily prebuilt image files to install Ubuntu Touch and MultiROM even has its own installer system, which can be used to ship other Linux-based systems.
Features:
* Multiboot any number of Android ROMs
* Restore nandroid backup as secondary ROM
* Use for example Ubuntu Touch or Desktop alongside with Android, without the need of device formatting
Warning!
It _is_ dangerous. This whole thing is basically one giant hack - none of these systems are made with multibooting in mind. It is messing with boot sector and data partition. It is no longer messing with data partition or boot sector, but it is possible that something goes wrong and you will have to flash factory images again. Make backups. Always.
Installation
1. Via MultiROM Manager app
This is the easiest way to install everything MultiROM needs. Install the app and select MultiROM and recovery on the Install/Update card. If the Status card says Kernel: doesn't have kexec-hardboot patch! in red letters, you have to install also patched kernel - either select one on the Install/Update card or get some 3rd-party kernel here on XDA. You are chosing kernel for your primary ROM, not any of your (future) secondary ROMs, so select the version accordingly.
Press "Install" on the Install/Update card to start the installation.
2. Manual installation
Firstly, there are videos on youtube. If you want, just search for "MultiROM installation" on youtube and watch those, big thanks to all who made them. There is also an awesome article on Linux Journal.
Note 1: There have been reports that (not only) MultiROM does not work properly with older bootloaders. Update it to version 4.13 or newer in case you have problems.
MultiROM has 3 parts you need to install:
MultiROM (multirom_vXX_aries-signed.zip) - download the ZIP file from second post and flash it in recovery.
Modified recovery (TWRP_multirom_aries_YYYYMMDD.img) - download the IMG file from second post and use fastboot or Flashify app to flash it.
Patched kernel - You can use either one of the stock ones in second post or third-party kernels which include the patch, you can see list in the second post. Download the ZIP file and flash it in recovery.
You current rom will not be erased by the installation.

What is TWRP?
The TWRP team is a community that works on open source, to open the doors in modification, system recovery and more.
Remember! As TWRP mends with the android system, for those who are unaware it can damage the device, so TEAM Team Win and M-DROID are not responsible for any data that may be caused by improper installation or use of TWRP!
Plus, TEAM M-DROD can help you find a solution!
We recommend that you download the latest version of TWRP for your device!
Sometimes firmware updates for a device break compatibility.
If you have not updated the firmware on your device, it may be that the latest version of TWRP is not working for you.
I recommend trying to use an older version.
Downloading a TWRP from another device, no matter how similar, can lead to malfunction.

EDIT: Glad you got it straightened out.
He explained this isn't to compete with @bhb27 efforts, but to be able to flash TWRP without typing in fastboot commands. It's to make it easier to use TWRP. It's not a redundant thread, like it looked at first glance.
Dup thread closed, see link to original thread above
UPDATE: thread open Feb 6th
After communicating with the OP, he has explained this is more of a tool to be used while installing recovery. This explanation will be added to the OP for clarity.

Odin
Unzip the file. There is a EXE file in it. Double click it to launch. There will be a pop up, just press ok.
FILES THAT YOU NEED TO FLASH THE ROM.The rom itself
Make sure you have 7-zip installed. Right click it and click extract files. Go into the unzipped folder and rename the file inside to "system.img"
TWRP Decrypter
Just leave this file as a zip. Don't unzip it.
ChonDoe Flasher
Just leave this file as a zip, Don't unzip it.
INSTALL RECOVERY AND UNLOCK BOOTLOADER (SKIP THIS PART IF YOU ALREADY HAVE TWRP.)I have made a reddit post on twrp. DO NOT DO THE MAGISK PART.
FLASHING THE FILESGo into TWRP. Press wipe and go into format data. Type in yes and wipe your data. Press the home button in your nav bar and go back into Wipe. Press advanced wipe, tick "data", "Dalvik / ART cache" and "Cache". Format it.
Press the home button in the nav bar again. Now, go into reboot and click recovery. Don't do anything. Once it's back into TWRP, plug your phone into the pc if you haven't already.
On your Windows PC, go into File Explorer, This PC, A515F and then internal storage. Take the "system.img" file and drag it into there. Do the same with "Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip" and "ChonDoe_Flasher.zip"
Once all of them are copied, go onto your phone. Click install and you should see your files. If you don't find /sdcard and go into there. Flash "ChonDoe_Flasher.zip". Once it's done, flash "Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip". Press "Reboot System" once "Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020.zip" is installed.
If this looks really confusing to you, there is a tutorial for this. However, it's for HavocOS. But everything is the same except the rom. But the steps are the same. Watch it here.
