[Q] [Help] Please See The ImG provided - YU Yureka Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm new to XDA, umm not new exactly, since 1.5 years now, but jist checked it out for updates, anyways this is not what I wanted to say, the thing is :
I'm getting this notification in my YU Yureka, in which it says me to upgrade and it states that :
"For Security Reasons, Ambient Services may stop working.."
Tapping it(the notification) is useless, it just stays right there n nothing happens. I don't know how to embed that img here in the post but I'm attaching it as an attachment.
Please if anyone knows what's causing it to pop up those notifications then it would really be great.
I tried asking the same question on the forum but the response wasn't that great, may be coz noone faced it or knew abt it, so as a last resort posting it here.
Thanks in advance.

Long press on notification and then app info>force stop.
If this doesn't work do a master reset. If already unlocked bootloader better flash any ROM or factory images of Stock CM of yureka published on You forums.

Thanks for the reply dude, actually I did made a Nandroid backup a couple of days ago, just after I unlocking the bootloader and rooting my device, I will restore that; but what I really wish to know is why I'm I seeing that notification. I really appreciate your help but if only you or anyone could help me with that. Being an engineer or for this matter just an android enthusiast, I just can't accept a solution until and unless I don't get to know what exactly is causing it. Hope you understand my feelings.

Hello fellow xda users i some how bricked the oneplus during reverting back to cm from oxygen os. I tried everything but nothing seems to solve the issue so i went to oneplus one hoping they will solve the issue and here is what i got. See for yourself
Are you really sure you briked it? That's pretty hard to do.
Buddy, there are two guides how to unbrick your oneplus in this oneplus general section. It's easy to follow.
Oneplus customer service was only as bad as you reading the guides/requirements and tutorials for flashing and modifying files :silly:

Honestly, from what I can see you could have easily recovered your phone had you done the right research and followed the multiple tutorials on how to unbrick this phone. And the fact is, you bricked the phone because you were doing things to the device without really knowing what you were doing. That isn't their fault.

================================================== ================================================== =
OK, as promised I wanted to write up more detailed steps on how I unbricked my OPO. First, thanks to all who contributed, found the needed files and solution.
The solution is in fact to download Color.zip from https://mega.co.nz/#!BkpwyYSB!rkYSkF...p1-MX1cLLtaiRo.
After downloading, unzip the archive.
Next, Windows drivers. If you're like me you've already tried different drivers, including Qualcomm USB drivers for 9006 and 9008. My best advice is to uninstall the drivers you tried. Go to Device Manager, right click on the bricked USB device (QHSUSB_BULK or Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008) and go to Properties, click on Driver, then select Uninstall. Check the box to remove driver files, if prompted. Then, go to the extracted Color.zip folder and find Driver.iso. Extract Driver.iso. Inside the extracted folder find Setup.exe. Run Setup.exe to install the drivers. The installer is Chinese, but all you need to do is click through.
Second note about drivers if that I had the worst time trying to get things to work on my Windows 7 computers. Both Windows 7 and 8 block unsigned driver installations. I've tried overwriting these settings and spent half a day messing with it, and I never go the next steps to work properly. I ended up trying installing the drivers from Setup.exe and the following steps on my Windows 2003 server and things worked properly first time. I am not saying that you won't get this to work on Window 7 or 8, but if you're having troubles try Windows XP, that might make a difference.
Anyway, once you have the drivers straightened out, connect your phone to the computer, start it up by holding VolUp + Power to about 10 seconds, and let the computer do its thing. Don't install drivers if they are not installed by itself. Instead launch Msm8974DownloadTool.exe. It will scan all the COM ports and find the phone. That's the one line that looks different in the list. The list is just a list of your com devices. If you unplug the phone and move it to another port, or computer, it will show your bricked phone on a different line. There is no reason to click in or select at lines, the program knows where the phone is.
Clicking on "Enum" just rescans the busses. Clicking the big square button in upper right corner scans the phone and reports what's good and what's not. It takes a minute for the scan to finish.
If you don't see your devices, try unplugging/plugging in your phone a couple times, and rebooting it with VolUP + Power (hold 10 seconds). You will see it in Device Manager as well.
Anyway, once you see the phone in the list, click Start. You should see the programs starts writing different files to the phone. Each time it writes a file you'll see a progress bar. Once this is going you know you will be good to go... After all files are written, the line with your device will turn green. You're good, unplug and reboot your phone to ColorOS.
If there is a problems flashing the device, the line will turn Red. That's what I was getting on my Windows 7 after like 3 seconds after clicking Start. After moving to Windows 2003, everything worked like a charm.
Once you're on ColorOS and want to go to Cyanogenmod 11S, you have a few options. The easiest way if to use a toolkit from http://forum.xda-developers.com/onep...9-gui-t2807418, or you can download an image manually from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/onep...stock-t2826541 and run the following commands in fastboot mode:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash cache cache.img
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn
fastboot flash dbi sdi.mbn
fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn
fastboot flash rpm rpm.mbn
fastboot flash tz tz.mbn
fastboot flash LOGO logo.bin
Make sure you have the proper image. I accidentally installed the 16GB version on my 64GB OPO first time and obviously didn't get 64GB of space.
That's about it. I think if people are still having problems then it's likely due to drivers, or Windows 7/8 issue. If you're still getting stuck, let me know, I'll see if I can help.

Samsung Galaxy A3 (SM-A300FU) Hard Bricked !

Hello guys i'm new so sorry if i'm doing something wrong,
7 or 8 month ago i've updated my rooted samsung galaxy a3 (SM-A300FU) to android lollipop with odin (it was rooted so i could not install updates from the phone) and it worket successfully but next day i've rebooted my phone and it showed me blue, red and other colors dotted screen, i powered off my phone by holding power buton 10 seconds and booted it in factory mode thinking that my phone was already rooted ^^' i've flashed android lollipop again and device deconnected from my pc, and it won't turn on on recovery mode, charge and my pc don't recognize device either (tried many ways: Volume up + power + home, power only etc...). My phone is 100% dead and i wanted to know if there is a way to get it back ?
Thanks and sorry for my english

Let your phone charge, try switching it on after 2 hours (Try Normal, recovery, and download mode) . If it doesnt work, you probably have hardbricked your device. It is fairly uncommon though. If it is still in warranty, get it replaced. Dont agree to having modified any files, rooting, custom recovery etc if they ask, just tell them it wont switch on. You should be fine.

Hardbricks cannot be solved by flashing. Your phone is dead if it doesnt start up in recovery or download modes. Even adb push will not work without your phone displaying atleast something on the screen.

Surely it's possible to create this debrick image in Linux?
The bootloaders are in the stock firmware package.
Combine the images required in the correct order by looking at the pit file. This will give the address and byte count of the respective images.
Mount the combined image in Linux then pull the required portion of the image using dd.

As the op originally stated, the phone is not detected through usb. It should be atleast detected for it to read the files through sd card, if it fails to do so from the motherboard.
In my opinion, the only way to revive the phone is through jtag.
Again, i might be wrong. Id like to hear your say on this @ashyx

If you can get to download mode then and odin detects your device you don't need a debrick image as you are not hard bricked. Just flash the stock firmware.
This is for people who can't access download mode.

Urgent help needed! S7 edge stuck in recovery mode

Hello everyone. Was trying to update my S7 Edge to the latest firmware, India. However. the phone got stuck in recovery mode. Cant even switch off the phone. Tried to reinstall in recovery mode once but that too failed.
Also the screen is on and the phone is warm for mre than 5 hrs. I am afraid some internal hardware might get damages. Its stuck on the green screen which reads :An error has occurred whil;e updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in smartswitch PC software.
The service centre are closed for two days due to Ganpati festival here. Need your urgent help.
Is this "recovery screen" cyan/blue? If yes then it's a odin recovery mode.
Just hold volume down + home + power until Your phone force reboots to odin mode.
But. If that doesn't do anything or still shows You that recovery screen, then just open odin on Your PC and connect Your phone. It should find Your phone anyway. Now all You have to do is flash any kind of image if Your phone has working boot.img and system.img. If not then reflash whole firmware and You should be fine

So after tapping on AP i should add AP file right which is 4.2 GB? Didnt get any home image file.

Update: Finally managed to restore via smartswitch. Thank you everyone

I'm happy You fixed it .
Just in case if You'll need extra help later. (Or anyone else)
Inside the zip file that You download from sammobile should be couple of files. One of them should be named Home_something.tar.md5 - this one goes to AP.
Then You should press start and let it do its work. But if Smartswitch works for You then no need to worry.
Just to inform you if there is a next time, try another USB port and/or a different USB cable (ie. the original one)

i have pretty much the same issue but mine is stuck via a bad rom. the problem I have now is my computer will not recognize it when I plug into usb. any ideas?

Google Account Galaxy Tab A SM-T510

Hi,
I just bought a tablet Samsung Galaxy A SM-T510 and when I run it, Android ask the last Google Account that was in it.
I searched a lot in this forum but I'm not sure to understand all the way to remove this verification.
I'm new here... Somebody could explain me the way to remove it ?
It's impossible to run Android without this email. I do not have access to the system configuration.
When I look for the Android Recovery, my version is T510XXU1ASEF XEF. I already tried to install a new firmware (I succeded and I was thinking it would be enough but it wasn't).
Big thank you for your help.

You must be doing something wrong. That's is the solution that works and it is the ONLY solution. If you can't get it to work, you got a brick.
edit: Make sure you have the combo files for the T510 and not some other model.

Ok...
My way :
- Recovery mode
- Wipe data/factory reset. Same for cache
- Reboot to BootLoader
- Launch Odin V3.13.1 like administrator
- Connect the tablet to PC
- Put the combination file into AP... Look that "Auto Reboot" and "F Reset Time" is checked.
- "Start".
It's good until there ?

Then ! I was not in download mode... For the download mode, you need to:
- Power off the tablet
- Press up and down
- Connect cable to Odin
- A blue screen appaers, press up to confirm

You can't just use Odin on the combo file. That file must first be extracted to find the TWO files needed for Odin. Then you use Odin on one file first and then let the tablet reboot. Then go back into download and use Odin for the other file. I don't recall which file goes first but the instruction should be in the post where you found the file you downloaded.

When I extract the .rar, I've only only file that end with ".tar.md5"... I've only one file in the archive. I need to extract this ".tar.md5"? How can I do that?

You don't. md5 files are what you use in Odin. Again, not owning a T510, I don't know the exact process for it. For the T580, it is a two stage process. Maybe for the T510, you just use Odin on the one md5 file you extracted. Any further assistance will have to come from someone who has done it on the T510.
edit: BTW, you probably shouldn't check "re-partition" unless you are flashing a PIT file.

Ty for you help.
It's probably different between those two model.
I tried all way to flash correctly, I tried to download again other version of "combination file" to turn fail in success, but nothing works.
I searched for hours how to FRP unlock... Nobody have idea about my problem ?
When I'm in Downloading mode, I can see in the top left :
ODIN MODE
DOWNLOAD SPEED : FAST
PRODUCT NAME : SM-T510
CURRENT BINARY : Samsung Official
KG STATE : Prenormal
FRP LOCK : ON
OEM LOCK : ON(L)
Secure Download : Enabled
CCIC = S2MM005 hw: 7 boot: 8 main4a
CARRIER_ID:
WARRANTY VOID: 0 (0x0000)
RP SWREV B: 1 K: 1 S: 1
DID = 44d7f75a222c
Do I have to change something there or this is correct ?
For information, I can't change OEM cuzz I don't have access to system.
Yes, do not check the re partition. You are not partitioning the device. Flashing a combination file is the same on both the T580 and the T510. However, you should have 4 files to flash not just one. You should have a BL, AP and the CSC with the HOME CSC files. Put each one in their respective places. All files being used by Odin3 must be in "tar.md5" form. You do not have to plug in the USB cord to get the device into Download mode but you have to plug it in to flash it. You will get a blue connected section when you do.
Then apparently you are trying to get past the FRP lock. There are a variety of methods to remove the Google Account FRP lock on You Tube but this is the one you probably are looking for.

Don't check re-partition. That will re-partition the whole device, and ruin it. Was this device brand new or used??

He cant flash combo without a factory token as it needs approval now.. same as most all other new samsung devices are. The approval error displays on the phone itself once the flash fails in odin.

How do you obtain a factory token? If your tablet was bought from a legit seller on eBay, can you get one from Samsung? How do you use it?

I contacted Samsung which wouldn't help because I bought mine from EBay. Unaurthorized reseller was what I was told and they couldn't help me. So I scoured through You Tube videos and found nothing that will help unless the device had a SIM card which it doesn't. Sooner or later someone will get past this FRP account lock and we can use our tablets. In the meantime I'll experiment with it.

I just received my SM-T720 back from Samsung and I purchased on eBay. Had to have eBay (not the seller) send me a proof of purchase email to do it, but it was accepted. Probably depends on how helpful the person who handles your call wants to be. If I were you, I'd contact eBay and get a proof of purchase from them, and then try Samsung again.:fingers-crossed:
edit: As I recall, I did have to get fairly persistent before the rep agreed to help.:crying:

This looks more like emmc chip (your phone's storage chip) error, you already lost all your data and if its a hardware issue then i doubt software reflash could fix it, but do tell me what was your current firmware number which was in your phone before all this , also send a pic of download mode..
Also what screen stripes you were talking about in your earlier thread? Send a screenshot of them too (looks more like a hardware problem too)
If you can't post images here on xda, just upload to an external site like imgur and send your pic link here ..
Per my best knowledge, smart switch doesnot support emergency recovery anymore (but if it still supports in some old versions or it works - then please do try that too) .. Good luck

what about the emmc chip , would it be possible to do a chip off recovery?
what i dont understand is that if its a hardware issue then why does it even turn on and allow me to go to the recovery mode

What was the last firmware present on your phone. Hardware damage is always tricky.. sometimes it allows phone to boot with weird things going on before completely failing..
I can see that your bootloader number is 2 , i will give you the combination rom, try flashing that in odin
Be warned that all your data in your phone is already lost, at this point your only goal is to make your phone working again, thats where i am helping..
Combination u2 rom : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JKDiV3LmqUt8GLlOLnmZ6Xsqxn-Hpv9d/view?usp=drivesdk
Flash it in odin 3.14.4 and untick auto reboot in odin options, if flashing is successful .. ur phone will still be in download mode.. hold vol down + home + pwr button to force reboot and when phone starts rebooting( screen goes black ) immediately change holding from vol down to vol up+ home + pwr buttons , trick here is to force reboot to recovery directly from download mode without booting combination rom, do a factory data wipe in combination recovery.. then clear cache and then try reboot to combination rom..
If you could boot into combination rom, run some hardware tests.. and report back, if everything goes good, we can try flashing the last stock firmware that was present on your device, Good luck

I honestly dont remember the exact firmware details, all i know is that it was Nougat 7.0 and an update was available for a long time but i didnt update as i had no space (like only 800 or 900mb was left)
I see, so the data is lost.
Soo this combination U2 rom , it will replace the rom which was previously installed?
Sorry i am just trying to learn more about this combination U2 rom as i have never read about it
Thanks

It will just help to unbrick your device (provided that it gets flashed successfully in odin first)
Just follow my steps in above post after (if) odin could flash successfully.

You tried flashing already..
Flashing anything has the risk to lose all your data if you have no backup before ..
And flashing with HOME CSC doesn't erases data..
But as you said you tried flashing various stock firmwares, but odin failed in the middle..
So yeah, i think your data is already lost
But if it was that important , i seen some android programs which can recover deleted files from phone but they are mostly paid and also phone should be in working condition..
Also there are professional data recovery companies who would take in your phone and pull its memory chip apart and use their special hardware on that chip to extract anything they could.. but there is no guarantee that you will get back any important data from it and their cost is huge for this process..
Thats why its recommended to always keep a back up of all your data

yes i tried flashing the stock but that recovery.img error occurs.
i have always read people say that you lose data after flashing a stock rom which isnt true as i recently flashed Note 3 Neo SM N7502 and Note 3 SM-N9005
both with stock rom and all the data, apps and contacts were intact.
i only used the AP files on both and nothing else
but i have never flashed a combination rom so was curious if the data is erased if that is flashed.
Yes, i have seen several apps like wondershare/dr fone which can recover the data but the problem is they either require root or say if unrooted the USB debugging has to be on , in my case i never rooted nor turned on the USB debugging mode as i never needed it.
i live in dubai , currently i am searching for someone who can professional pull out all the data from the chip but due to the coronavirus lockdown all shops are shut and even online technician arent active.
Yes its better to always backup the data, it happened so suddenly as i mentioned in my first post it automatically went blank when i plugged in my usb
anyhow i will try to flash the combination rom and let you know
Thanks

You cannot compare a note 3 with s7 series generation lol
And yes , flashing a stock rom wipes all data if you DON'T choose HOME _ CSC in csc box..
Flashing with home_csc won't cause data loss but its akin to a dirty flash .. causes problems and is there for upgrading android os without data loss, and its not generally a good thing to NOT wipe data and factory reset after flashing as it causes problems..
IF YOU INTEND TO DO A PROFESSIONAL RECOVERY OF YOUR DATA DON'T FLASH ANYTHING ANYMORE AS IT WILL FURTHER MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO RETRIEVE !
WARNING : combination rom would wipe all your data, so be warned if you flash it, it would be even more difficult to recover data ..
