It looks pretty good value to me.

banggood? or gearbest? I think gearbest is fastest / better service??

I'm waiting for mine to arrive from Banggood.

Mine apparently shipped from the warehouse on the 14th, and the Post Office dealt with it on the 17th (I only know this after badgering them on LIVE CHAT) but my tracking number is still not working. Apparently it can take a week after the Post Office have dealt with it for the tracking number to start working!

Yes I got it yesterday. And i am so disappointed. Disappointed because there is NO heart rate monitor at all! This option was the main reason why i decided to take it. Bluetooth connection between watch and sgn2 is dropping after few minutes. Both software - on watch and on phone is piece of s...! Only 2 watch faces: analog and digital.
This morning battery is already empty.
Screen looks good enough. Responsive touch. Clock i see is acurate. If it is true - it is sinchronysing with phone. There is simple control of media player: play stop forward backward and volume. It plays music directly on the watch. Sound is... listening at night when you are sleeping is more or less enough. There is no option to play music on phone.
I did not find how to control camera i couldn't take any picture. It looks like they payed attention to design of the watch - it looks good but else is left.

No I didn't say like that. It is more or less worth that money. I just bought not that one I wanted. I have read as much as i could find on internet about that watch. And a lot of places i have found info that this watch have heart rate monitor but in reality NOT. I cant figure it out how it happened. On the seller listing there were pictures showing like it is but not mentioned in the specification. So i can blame only myself for not clearing this question before bidding.
Later on i will post a few pics if you want.
And sorry for my English. I am doing my best.

Tell me please if you can see those pictures here:

I am sorry to hear this device is not what we probably all hoped for!! If it had remote camera working it would be worth me buying one. I do thank you for saving me the time, money and disappointment Sir.

Remote camera is working. I found finaly how it works.

I was wondering how can we use this smartwatch. I mean, what are the possibilities for it? Can I read incoming whatsapp on it? Mails?
That should be useful for me. Thanks!

thaNKS FOR YOUR INPUT. I can see the photos dont delete them cuz I also want to buy this watch.
how does it wear, comfortably or not?
and does it have a camera on the top of the watch, or what is that supposed to be?

It wears comfortably enough. And it is not so big like it looks. Silicon band is somewhere in the middle - not so hard and not so elastic. I have no problems with band. I have ordered gold color but I don't know... it looks for me like bronze, not polished or shiny.
Camera - NO there is NO camera on the board. That small window on the top of the watch is that what have tricked me. I was thinking that there is heart rate monitor but its not. There is NO nothing at all. I disassembled this watch and I am pretty sure.
One more thing. Yesterday I decided to try with another ROM on my SGN2. Installed "Android Revolution HD 31.0". Now I can tell that connection between SGN2 and this watch is much better than it was with Slim Colorz. During this day there were no interruption with watch.

I kickstarted (is that a verb now? that makes it sound like I started it though...) the pebble watch. Still a couple months from actually getting it though. Not a whole lot of them out there.
I have a WIMM 1 and I really like it. It's actually an android device in a watch. It has blue tooth and wi-fi.
The screen is color and is a 4 position touch screen.
Battery life is just one day for the most part if you use blue tooth or wi-fi.
But they include a charging paddle so its easy just to set it down in the paddle at night for charging.
It's not a sports watch (no gps I think) but there are some basic programs for walking etc I think they use the accelerometer
If you go their web site you can see they have some pretty cool options.
I also still have an InPulse watch (they are making the pebble now). I don't like this watch nearly as much. And not much
hope of updates to make it better since all they are doing is workign on the pebble now.

the cookoo watch looks way nicer aesthetically than the pebble, but looks like the pebble has more backers and has been in the business a bit longer than the cookoo
Why do you need a smartwatch when you already have a smartphone? Sorry to me just doesn't make sense. It just makes everyone that much more lazy.

I had the Sony smartwatch for a day. The build quality was horrible. It also felt awkward to use it for anything other than checking the time.
I too am waiting for the pebble. E-ink is the way to go for a watch IMO.

I got a Metawatch Frame a few weeks ago while waiting for my Pebble to arrive. Well, I got the Pebble today, and I really dig it.
Between the two, I kinda like the Metawatch Frame better for the appearance - it's a metal case with a leather band. It just looks better than Pebble. The screen is pretty nice, although being very reflective can be tricky to read.
But I like the Pebble more for the more reliable functionality. See, the Metawatch's software support is still spotty. The official app doesn't do much at all yet. They're supposed to be releasing an update to the Market any day now. In the meantime I've used the Community Edition, which works much better. It still has major issues. Notifications only pop up as "Mail received on [mail account]", or "SMS message received", but no subject or sender information. Then with both the MWMCE and Noah editions, the watch resets itself after receiving the alert.
With Pebble, I connected it to my Galaxy Nexus and tested a few things. The only thing that didn't seem to work was SMS messages. I had found the Pebble Notifier plugin for Tasker, and played with it, and it worked pretty well. Then I noticed the developer set up Pebble Notifier as a standalone application. You can select apps from a list of your apps, and any notification that shows up in your phone's notification tray will be sent to Pebble. It works well, and Pebble doesn't reset every time, either! In fact, after testing many notifications I have not seen the Pebble disconnect or reset.
I'll probably end up selling the Metawatch Frame. I would list it here, but it seems the for sale forum has been closed. Guess I'll have to fall back on Egay.

I posted my thoughts on the Sony Smartwatch at the above link. I tried the Sony and the Pebble and I prefer the Sony. For those who wonder why the need for a watch when you already have the phone, I think it'll change your mind once you have a smartwatch. It's very liberating not having to pull the phone (in my case, the big Note II) out of your pocket as often. All of my notifications, weather, facebook, twitter, e-mails, sms... can be glanced quickly with the watch, especially when I'm driving or in a meeting.
With the new smartphones shouting out connectivity and innovation all it does is tieing up a soul to the internet. Facebook, Twitter, notification here, notification there, your whole life is becoming a bleep.
Kind regards,
Thomas

MIMI W3 Smartwatch

Hi all,
Found this smartwatch and it looks pretty nice: *cant post links!* website is mimi-hk. The watch is the MI W3 smartwatch.
This is an update of a watch I can't find much info on, the MI-W2 watch, or the Podoor PW305 (which was updated also to the PW305 II) so if anyone has used them please rate!
It is not Android based, but that doesn't bother me. Android smartwatches run out of power too quickly and obviously I'm going cheap here. It seems it can be used for at least a good few days. The watch face is listed as translucent stays on all the time, which is key for me as I don't see the point in having a smart WATCH that is so smart it doesn't show me the time! Amongst the features, it also has things like: Backlight when you lift your wrist. Apparently IP67 waterproof. Answer calls. Reject calls. Read messages. Send messages (though this is pointless on a small screen). Metal body. Leather strap. It's actually a watch.
I have contacted mimi-hk and they will sell the W3 for £63.48, $102 ($90 + $12 delivery).
Everbuying sell the watch for $88.27 delivered, (£56.87) Has anyone used everbuying before? Would anyone recommend them, or recommend staying away!?
I think this watch looks decent, has all the features I'd need on a companion watch and is a decent price. Does anyone see why I shouldn't go for it?
Thanks!
Its bluetooth is 3.0 nor 4.0... This bluetooth is not energy eficient so battery life has not to be so good

Hi Stu,
I have seen this watch but also could not find any info on it! For info, link is here: www.everbuying.com/product609837.html
Looks like a good watch, if the battery can hold up!
Oh sweet, thanks for posting the link. Yeah battery life is a concern, but are there any cheap watches that have 4.0? I'm not really interested in spending more.
Also, Negriton, do you have any alternatives you might suggest, with Bluetooth 4.0?
I have purchased twice from Everbuying and it was a bad experience both times.
The last time I had to file a claim with Paypal and it took 6 weeks to get a refund.
They offered a " partial" refund... yea right.... Paypal agreed with me and I eventualy got a forced refund. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

Awesome stuff! I almost bought the Star Kingleton watch from your review, saw a note on the PW305 then a string of research followed, leading to the W3!
I also found the W2 on a website called Joe's Tech Review, he's supposed to be getting it and doing a review soon too.
I'm mostly interested to find out what this 'translucent' screen is all about.
At £63 it's almost worth the risk (not got heaps of cash here) and I'm getting impatient, good to know people will be reviewing soon!

MI W3 review By JTR1NING
I'm Happy to say that the Mi W3 from MIMI-HK.com has complied with all of its hype. Right out of the box I had a Premium detachable/interchangeable leather band and a alloyed/plastic waterproof smartwatch body. The design isn't as streamlined as the MI W2.It has more of a unisexed square digital look . In the boxes second compartment is the dual USB adaptor and Cable. Then at the very bottom of the box is the users manual that has been created with very detailed photos...even in the chinese writing a person can understand the directions. The Mi w2 feels a little heavier due to the thicker alloy on the front. The MiW3's Front alloy plate is thinner because it serves a Medical apparatus purpose...it, with the assistance of the metal plate on the rear, READS AND MONITORS THE USERS HEART RATE. This was a factor for the new smartwatches to implement. Most of the functions and layout is almost identical to MIW2. The added icons to the menu scroll is the Heart Rate Icon and the (APP) Icon. The gesture protocols are different. The way it is implemented on the MIW3 is as follows.... Goto, then press the Application (app) icon . Locate the Gesture Bright Screen menu..there you will see a new format of adjustable scrolling numbers... (01 to 23) on the left and (1 to 23) on the right. This is the 24hr/military time format. Setting this will make your watch go in total black screen until you shake/wake it up. This new feature along with the new TRANSPARENT screen display helps with battery life. The Transparency of the screen is a very good add on. Many smartwatch/ watch phone users have complained about pressing the button to see the time. With the implement of the gesture protocol, and now the translucency of the screen...always on top time view, the direction is forward not backward. The screen ,when in sleepmode will not respond to touch until activated by button press...THe Gesture Bright control is MOre useful when there is no Ambient light to see the watch screen...thus tilting the watch and the screen comes alive in pitch blackness. SPEAKERS/MICROPHONE : Without dismantling the MIW3 I can say that a different brand of Speaker has been used. The clarity and the distance the user can hear the information/caller from is much better than MOst of the watchphones I've used in the past. The microphone is highly sensitive and the feeling to hold the watch to the mouth is minimum. Removable wristbands are GENUINE LEATHER and standard. If you wanted a different look, just switch/change the wrist strap and your look will be Eye catching.....READ THE ENTIRE REVIEW AT MY SITE joe's tech review on the ning network
Any reliable way to buy this watch?
I do not find any option to buy on their website (mimi-hk). Also a couple of other vendors (everbuying, dealmachine etc.) do not have a very great review online. Any pointer will be highly appreciated.
s7yler - on your blog you didn't mention it has a mic?
I wonder if it is running the Nucleus OS?
It would be good if it can give 4 days battery life.

No info on OS that I can find, but OS is very similar to all other budget watches (nucleus style). I'm told by Anna that nromal usage battery is 60 hours. Standby is naturally much longer.. though I want to see the full review to knwo for sure!
You can buy using Paypal from Anna by contacting (I'm waiting for full review to purchase atm) - email address is [email protected]
I also want to by elsewhere as it's cheaper but also am put off by the reviews. Everbuying has 8% off until the end of October, but I have heard to stay away from them!
Hopefully S7yler will release the full review soon.
Any experience with Aliexpress?
I got this link from Anna, but the price is way higher than other portals:

MI-W2 Smart watch
I just receivced my smart watch (after 3 weeks) and purchased on the gearbest site for only $56.00 + $17.00 S/H from Hong Kong.
I've only had it for a few days but I really like it.
MI-W2 version z2.8
MI-W2 Versatile Smart Bluetooth Watch with Dialer SMS Capabilities Remote Camera Shutter Functions.MI-W2 Versatile
Pros: .
Full cahrge in less than 1 hour
Haven't discharge in over 18 hours
Allows me to receive incoming call, text, email, and calendar notifications on the watch
Can make outgoing calls and send outgoing text messages.
Can add and deleted calendar events (syncs to my gmail account calendar)
Cons:
Unable to understand how to adjust call volume on the watch. I was able to access the engineer mode by pressing *20# to get to the menus and even found the audio section to choose my level. Somehow it gives 6 levels of volume but there is no way change the volume on the watch while in a call

HTC One M8 and the Moto 360

I recently bought the Moto 360 and couldn't be happier. These two look like they belong together. So far everything is syncing and working together smoothly. The only gripe would be that you can't voice reply to a text message using the stock messenger app, although this seems to be an issue with most if not all stock messaging apps. It doesn't bother me enough to switch to Google Hangouts.
Just thought I'd share my thoughts. Anyone else using the Moto 360 with the HTC One M8?
I also have M8 and I bought the moto 360.. waiting for the shipment to arrive...cant wait..im so excited to use it with the beloved M8 ???

Did you get your watch yet?
The watch andthe phone speak over Bluetooth, right?
Does having the phone paired with a watch affect its ability to pair with other bluetooth devices? IE could I have my phone and watch paired and still have my phone pair with my car at the same time?
(Trying to talk myself into / out of buying a 360 right now.... haha)

I have mine paired to my car as well as a few different headsets when I'm out of the car. Even when i use the watch as a remote to change tracks it doesn't make the phone skip a beat. This is probably due to the phone and not the watch though, as my OG Evo and EVO LTE was never able to be connected to something constantly streaming data as well as something that isn't, i.e. my car and an obd2 adapter.
The only time in my life I wore a watch was in the military but the look of the 360 makes me want one because I'm a gadget junkie. I love that Moto went round where all the others are square. How thick is it. It's hard to tell in the photos. Is it worth it and what can it do? Do you find yourself going to it before you go to the phone? Can it do GPS? I'd hate to shell out the bucks and then never use it.

Wow, that is quite a deal breaker to be honest.
If I understand you correctly, replying via voice doesn't work? Does sending a text via "ok google" work with the stock HTC Sense messaging app?

No it doesn't, you have to be using Hangouts for SMS to compose and reply to SMS on the watch.

I imagine thickness is going to be relative to who's wearing it. They have them at Best Buy for you to play around with, just go to their website to see if they're in stock at your local one.

I'd hate to shell out the bucks and then never use it.

It's been a long time since I wore a watch as well, but this one brought me back for the same reason. It doesn't seem that thick to me, no thicker than other watches I've owned (typical designer waterproof steel ones). The back kind of sinks into my arm which takes a bit of the width down, maybe it's subjective, I dunno. I tried to test one at the store but they wouldn't open any unless I bought one so I took the gamble.
I do find myself going to it first, but there's only so many things I can go to it for. It's really just a notification display at present - so it tells me when I get texts, email, calendar events (actually it kept me on time this morning because the notification on the watch counts down the last 60min helps you estimate how much time you have to get there). It's been cool in the morning to see weather info from Google Now, but the card goes away during the day for me at least, so to see the weather I have to ask it to show me. But I still prefer that than having to bring out my phone for sure. If you use something like Wear MiniLauncher you can also check on how your phone's battery is doing and toggle wifi or volume. But for any text entry I still much prefer using my phone. I guess what I'm saying is that I have no expectation or desire to do any real work on a watch, so I go to it first for quick updates which it's been great for.
Gps, well it doesn't really do much by it's self from my experience and understanding. It needs a connection to a phone to do anything, and when I navigated to a restaurant today on the watch I noticed that my phone was doing the navigating and just feeding the directions to the watch. And the voice was from the phone of course. It was a cool way to navigate, the vibration and having the screen right there was useful IMO.

Similar experience here. You nailed it over one point, I don't understand people who are expecting a smartwatch to do everything their phone does. If it did, it's rendering that £500+ device in your pocket useless! Google Wear seems to have the right idea in keeping it pretty much as a notification repeater with more basic interactions.

No it doesn't, you have to be using Hangouts for SMS to compose and reply to SMS on the watch.

You can definitely reply through sms, I've done this a lot. I see I received a text, I read it, I say Ok Google text ___(person who just texted me), and I say what I want to text and it auto sends when I stop talking. All in all it works very well, and maybe more useful that having a reply button on the message card IMO.

Wow, that is quite a deal breaker to be honest.
If I understand you correctly, replying via voice doesn't work? Does sending a text via "ok google" work with the stock HTC Sense messaging app?

Not sure I am understanding everyone correctly. I have the watch and the M8. I have used both Go SMS and Chomp SMS. When I receive a text, I tap on the text, swipe to the left (I think that way) and it says reply, I tap on that and voice reply to the message. And that's all there is to it, it responds directly to the text.
When responding directly to a text, it's extremely simple.
My 360 and M8 do go really well indeed.
My moto 360 is finally here??? its doing very well with M8 ( DESPITE of fast battert draining of both) ..i think the bluetooth connection is the biggest battery bleed of both devices!(in addition to facer) because when i did airplane mode on the watch.... Battery life is way better! ( moto then is useless then lol) I hope it can be solved in the forthcoming updates
Information:
Moto 360 version 4.4w.2
Apps: dialer, mini launcher, calculator, facer( yea its the main battery drainer), find my fone, ring remote
Htc M8: htc__622 (HK) stock rooted 4.4.3
I was really thinking about getting Moto 360 about a month back, then LG G Watch R came out but don't really like it as it is a bit chunky. I'm waiting for ASUS Zenwatch to get released in UK as that's what I'm going to get.

Shouldn't drain a lot of battery as both use Bluetooth 4
Yea thats what i know?! Ill do tests to see if its acually true or not... Also i noticed that changing alot watch faces by facer drains batter but if used it once for whole day its acceptable
I am not finding facer bring a big battery problem.

I have to test this for a longer time before I can answer on that. I have had it turned off between my test so far, so I don't have a clear picture yet of it. Will update my post when I know more.
I am interested in this watch re i phone version. Will it have a pedometer and what will be the cost?

The version I test here is only for Android. MIMI are saying they are working on a version for iPhone, but they can't say when it is ready. They are aiming for December. The cost is right now unknown, but I believe it will be around the same as this version.

Sorry I missed it but what is the cost of this current version?
On the IP67 test. The International Electrotechnical Commission requirements are 30min/1m. The IEC is the organization that makes the standards for the test/rating, so if it does not meet 30min/1m static immersion test then it can't technically be IP67. Just a heads up.
Thanks for reviewing it.

okay thanks for the info, but here http://aceeca.com/handhelds/ip67 it says
6 Totally protected against dust
7 Protected against the effect of immersion between 15cm and 1m
And if that's the case, it does fill the requirements. As it is water & dust-proof. Can be soaked more than 3 hours in 50cm deep water according to MIMI.

Max 3 days it seems.
looks nice, but also rather huge
and very disappointing to see the exact same crappy companion app
that came with the u8 and all those other clones
i assume you have to have either phone or media audio connected for the watch to work at all?

IEC 60529 (doesn't get any more official than this)
The link you posted is technically incorrect as the lowest point has to be at a depth of 1m. If the object is more than 850cm (can't remember exactly but it's in the pdf) tall then it requires 15cm from the top of the device to the surface of the water.
Clockfaces
Hello,
I just bought this smartwatch and waiting for delivery. Do you know if there will be more clockfaces ?
Btw, 3 days battery sounds good enough for me.

I see that stop ?? more info ??
I have this watch almost two weeks now, very nice watch and the design look quality. The things that i notice is that, connection sometime disconnect and you need to connect it by your smartphone not like other models that the watch it self searching for the phone. Heartrate seems accurate. The liveview cam is laggy and not full screen. I hope they implement auto face detection most pics taken is blurry. Qwerty keyboard not a default handwriting is awful very slow. Sometime the watch is autorestarting so you need to pair it again thru you smarphone and open the apps. I hope they could update thebfirmware soon.

Battery is ok for a couple of days, BT connection is stable for me, but also depends on what phone you use and how strong the BT is on the phone. No idea about Lollipop, but I think it would work.
I have a OnePlus One, I owned rwatch m26, the app worked well with kitkat while with lollipop I had to use an alternative apk, SmartWear. Since you bought it there were updates? I found a blog that talks about a new firmware with the voice command, but the site mimi-hk says nothing. However, I think I'll buy, the transreflective display, the ability to watch the time or answer the call with the shake and ip67 are rare on this type of device. On Lightinthebox it's 89 euros + 13 for shipping, I think it's a good price. Thanks for your suggest

Hi,finally I have the smartwatch

Anyone pre-order the Misfit Vapor?

It looks really cool, Amazon keeps having these flash sales on Amazon for $151. Right now you can pre-order it for $199 on their site. What do you guys think of it? Any-one get theirs yet?
https://misfit.com/products/misfit-vapor
I'm interested in hearing from anyone who ordered one/has one as well. Honestly, I'm stunned that a non-flat-tire, not ginormous, waterproof, android wear 2.0 smartwatch with a touch bezel is not getting more notice/media coverage.
It's like all the big review sites said, "Yeah, it's available on the 31st....so what. We had to wait for it too long, so we don't care". It's rather crazy in my mind. There are a few old reviews I can find (when the watch still ran the proprietary OS) but as far as I can find, there are no current reviews with the watch running AW 2.0. Why!?
I really hope some proud new owners chime in and let us know how the watch performs running AW, and some details on real-world use.
The only one that I've seen receive their's is this person. For $199 new, that's pretty good isn't it? A refurb Huawei watch one would cost me $150 at least.

Oh, sweet! Good thread there with some pretty good initial info on the watch. Thanks for sharing the link.
Hi I just recieved mine last night and I am now looking around on the web for info/help with it. Ill give my first impressions of it here, Id like to be able to share my thoughts with Misfit so maybe they can take the feedback and improve it.
First off I am a formar Fitbit Surge user and liked it for the fitness attributes it had, before ordering the Vapor I bought a CHEAP $40 Kingware KW18 watch from China to see if id be ok wearing a larger watch such as these are. It had many short commings but also did some cool things.
First impression is the watch is well made and it has a great interface, I really like the touch navigation around the bezel.
Now for what I dont like about it:
- Heart rate monitor has to be manually activated each time and just does a short test. I want to have it on all the time and have the data graphed in the app, I understand that probably is a battery drainer but how about being able to turn it on during workouts so I know what my peak heart rate was riding my cycle up a huge hill for instance.
- Phone call answering - It lets you see an incomming call and decide to hang up or answer it from the watch, but if you answer it from the watch the call actually goes to the phone. You should be able to see the call and if your phone is handy answer it on the phone or if its not (say phone is in my pocket and i am driving) answer it on the watch and talk to the person through the watch as a speaker phone. THe cheap KW18 can do this.
- Displaying of info on the watch face - Id like to be able to select what info is displayed on the watchface, such as steps or calories burned. Seams simple enough, Fitbits, Garmins both can do this and is an expection for most people of a fitness watch.
- Sleep monitor, so I could be missing something when I set it up for this but when I synced it this morning it said I got zero sleep, gee I didnt feel that I got no sleep, I am tired but I did sleep some... If it cannot sense I am in a restful position on its on I hope it doesnt expect me to select something in the watch to say Im now sleeping....
- Charger - It is a non intrusive connection held onto watch with a magnet which is great but it doesnt stay on well at all. The cheap KW18 has a much better charger cable/interface.
- Misfit App - THis is on me as I could have downloaded this before hand and checked it out but basically it is pretty useless. Has very little info in it, does not food/water tracking and has no graphing ability that I could see. Will need to use the watch for a while to see if once there is data it then has graphs available with your daily/weekly/monthly activity...
Sorry to sound negitive but they tout it as a refined fitness watch but fitness is low on their prioritys from what I can see.
~ Phil

You can change the default watch face info at bottom of screen. Go to change face screen and click settings icon and you can change the 3 icons from in there to link to any app on watch incl Google Fit for steps, calories etc

Hi thanks I did manage to figure that out, a user manual would be nice. It still is not very accurate on the step counting and it isn't tracking sleep at all either.
~ Phil
I have a few to sell if anyone is interested
So update on my Vapor i was told by tech support it does not do sleep tracking at all and heart rate monitoring is a snapshot only when you trigger it.
Have no idea how they can tout the Vapor let alone Misfit as fitness focused.
Im sending mine back and looking at the Garmin vivoactive 3 or the Samsung S2.
