Great sunset or sunrise photo.
Heres one I took of a nearby church - http://gavinsgadgets.com/2015/01/26/honor-6-camera-sample/

Its today sunset. Shot from a speed boat, but you can't tell the difference even with all the bumps.
Nice photo from the church, this phone really impressed me with the camera.

Postbridge, Dartmoor , Devon, UK. Glad you like it ☺

When I've been in Suffolk didn't had this phone yet.
Been there for 3 month work, I still have some family working there.
Hope to go to UK some time soon...

This one is cutted but quality is not so bad.

Wow! Lovely photos there guys, please do share the settings or modes (or editing if any) that you all used while clicking these amazing shots.

No special settings 13 mp camera, just playing with camera filters, these two last photos I used "Nostalgic" filter.
The butterfly photo I used a clip with macro lens.

Just created a post with my favourite shots from my Honor 6 camera - http://gavinsgadgets.com/2015/02/04/honor-6-review-camera-samples/
I will upload some more here too -

using my camera tweaks u can achive this sort of work with the hd2

hi all been away for awhile and id like to post some pictures from my hd2 these pics are unedited and are purely hd2 camera setting only with of coarse my superfine quality tweaks and stuff i posted few months back
here:

Fantastic photos, thanks for sharing and for the tweaks.
no problem matey ill be workin on more soon i hope
From the very beginning I've always diseregarded pictures taken by the HD2 as they always looked with "washed away" colours. And I am not necessarily comparing them to my eos 400d, they do not keep the pace even by far with my very first coolpix 3200, let alone the coolpix s2 I have now.
They may have nice detail sprint, but the way the colour is so undetailed putted me off big time.
Not to say that this effect is absent in your pictures, but they are the very first I see made by the hd2 that have that effect the least visible.
EDIT: since I'm at it, why not asking if you can provide the registry keys that can be imported after every flash in order to update the camera settings to 5M/widescreen off/grid on/sharpness and contrast+4 and so on? You know I'm dead lazy when it comes to search the registry
EDIT2: btw, are you sure that the flower here

and I still see the horrible washed out effect...

Macro Shots w/ Vibrant camera

Just wanted to share some macro shots I took today of a butterfly sitting on my porch. The sky was overcast with no sun. Shots were taken in Macro mode at 400 ISO. I would like some feedback from a photographer who knows what their doing. Let me know what you think of the Vibrant's camera.

Nice pics, I'm amazed the butterfly Hung out that long. Now as a photographer (decent) at best I would say the pics are great for a cell phone but nothing makes up for a good dslr camera and controlled lighting... that being said the pics look great for the hardware they were accomplished on
Pretty awesome for a cellphone.
I personally can't make my phone stable for some reason especially hitting the on screen shutter.
Nice pics! I am loving having such a good camera with me all the time. I took this the other afternoon in my backyard. Macro mode works nicely.
Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is macro mode? Looking through the settings in the camera I don't see a 'macro mode'. Granted, I do have the Captivate camera mod, but pretty sure all the options are the same.

I am no photographer but what macro mode does if you are going to be taking an extreme close-up picture of something. It makes the camera focus different so when the lenses is close to an object its not blurry.
I found it. Under 'focus mode' in the settings. Now time to play with it.

i think we should have a Camera Forum under Vibrant.. because it feels like we're going to be having alot of amatuer (but brilliant) Photography!!!
I'm going to start posting some pics i've taken on a new thread.. hopefullly ppl will share their brilliant photography!!
p.s. I know there is probably a Flickr group for all that goodness.. but i just feel at home in XDA
Really nice pictures guys
Here's a similar thread (not Macro Shots) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=745704&highlight=photos maybe some of you want to pass by and post some pics in there.
400 ISO
The quality is quite decent for a camera lens the size of a small pencil eraser (if that).

Excellent camera! Post your pics.

I took some pics of a friend's kittens yesterday, indoors, no flash, handheld, and was extremely pleased with the results. I also took some on a high-end digital camera and the Nexus shots were actually more pleasing! Some examples here.

I installed only version camera Day, but I can try night version either
does not look very good imo. a bit more contrast and thats it. Its also not sharper than samsung cam.
I hope that next version will be better.
GCam - portrait. Kinda tricky, many obstacles. But good result.
Hey all,
I am interested in the s10e and would like to know how the camera performance is without a telephoto lens.
Would the GCam version have 'super res zoom' which would be almost equivalent to 2x telephoto lens?
Please let me know.
Thanks

It does and works like a charm as long as you dont go wild with advanced settings (bitrates, etc). It produces way better low light pics than Samsungs own night mode (you need to have newest update installed)

Night photos are actually better on the original camera (s10e exynos). I just tested it.
