Before we go any further, Please check your phone model number by going to Settings -> about phone -> Model number.
Make sure your phone's battery is above 50% charge.
Original USB cable.
How to update?
- To make sure Sony drivers will install properly on your PC, Download the latest version of Sony PC Companion from here and install it.
- Download Flashtool from here and install it.
- Download Sony FTF file from one of the links provided
- Now go to C:\Flashtool and run Flashtool.exe, Click on the Flash icon in the left, Select Flashmode and press OK.
- From the source folder in the top navigate to the folder where you downloaded the FTF file earlier and press OK.
- Select the FTF file from the Firmware menu and click Flash.
- Now wait until a window prompts asking you to plug your phone with USB cable.
- Power off your device.
- Press the volume down button and plug the USB cable, The update should begin...
- Wait until the update is completed, Unplug the USB cable and reboot your device.
- The first boot should take some time...
Now you have successfully update your phone.

Hey guys! Please help solve the problem. When I reinstall the firmware, after powering on there is no picture, but the sound and press responds. It's like the screen is lit but no color. I am using Flashtool 0.9.34.0 and even tried Flashtool Version 0.9.10.2beta6. I feel like it might be a problem with the Bootloader but it's unlocked. Please tell me if anyone has a solution.

Stock file would be ideal. Unrooted mine and went to a non 3 firmware and lost 4g. Do you have a link to it by any chance please? Tried downloading it with xperifirm but couldn't sort it properly. Many thanks.

Like you noticed I redid some of the same yes. That's my choice and dont need to be pointed every time. You only provide customized ones, I the TOTAL picture for the x.264 releases. I am not using your uploads because I dont want to need to point to you in case of a bad upload (for example).
I have not heard anyone with my releases have this problemen 'yet'. I hope I made my point and that you stop spamming this thread with unnecessary messages

Yeah I saw your post already I was wondering if we could have other country/variant for d6633 as well. No hope anymore for my d6683 as there is almost no update by sony for this variant I still have to try a d6633 rom to check if my 4G bands are ok... So far, it is not 100% clear if flashing a 33 on 83 is 100% working.
D6633 is also on my program to do when i'm finished with these
