Chinese symbols solved by removing many chinese apps.
Will have a look on force close of phone apk, so far wiping did not help...

Can delete all Chinese applications?

Theoretically u can delete anything

@ panamera, don't you have this phone process force close? I did all wipes, but still force closes as soon as 2nd sim tries to register.
Btw works fine if 2nd sim is disAbled.

No, I have not phone process force close, perhaps because before installing any rom I always do u double wipe data/factory reset, cache and dalvik cache so you have a clean installation.
Try a new installation may solve the problem

Anyone else trIed to flash this rom?
Whatever I do, always force close of phone. It is connected with sim1, if disAbled, no problem.
Which rom did you come from before flashing this one?

Help required, unable to uninstall apps or download from play store

Could this be caused by changing the transitions. Setting. In developer options because when I try to change it back to default.settings crashes
Please help
Please provide more information on what rom you're using, what os version you are on, and under what conditions it is crashing.
With the information you have provided:
Try going to settings>apps>play store
Then delete data and cache.
Now try opening the play store.
Cheers!

ICS official German. Rom
Chrome beta is also not working.
Can't clear cache as that is not showing.
Also some apps when I click on them they say app isn't installed
if the apps are not downloading then go into manage apps>all apps and clear all the data of all apps who have google in their name and also clear the data of play store

I've just read that even wiping cache can cause superbrick under ics, so safest method would be to install Speedmod kernel, then wipe cache and dalvik.
You won't lose anything but it may take longer to reboot as it rebuilds the cache, this is normal.

I had a problem downloading apps over 3g..
Error message after every attempt. The answer was to create a new apn in the access point names menu for some reason the over the air provisioning created a wap apn instead of a regular internet one.....if that helps anyone.

Sorry then, I'm unsure how to help. One thing I've read is that someone's exchange account settings were causing conflict, and installing a third party email app somehow corrected Google play sync. Don't know if that fits.

Hi I had a similar problem with using Google play store a couple of days ago.
Got error message [DF-BPA-09] everytime I tried to download, purchase or uninstall apps. Its a know issue at Google.
Try this:
Go to settings-applications-all.
Then scroll down to Google Services Framework and clear data.
Re boot phone.
Hope this helps.

[Q] [Need Help] Can't Login to Google & Play Store After Deleting Some Apk

Hi all. First of all, I want to say thanks for this forum and all the contributors.
I have a problem. I use find 5. Previously, I used 20130531 rom. Then, I used 'System App Remover' application to delete some apk that are not came from original aosp rom of google.
I forget the applications' name that I had already deleted. And I didn't back up them.
After that, the find 5 can't connect anymore to Google and play store. I can't connect and restore anything from my google.
As a solution, I tried to update the os to X90_OTA_0712.zip Indonesia version. Before that, I already cleared dalvik and cache. I also 'restore factory data' first.
The process always failed. But the rom already updated. And still can't login to Google.
Then, I installed TWRP Recovery. I tried to install the rom again. Like usual, before that, I already cleared dalvik and cache. I also 'restore factory data' first.
And the recovery said the same thing like before, the zip instalation process is failed.
But when I reboot, it already become the new rom.
But the problem still occurred, I still can't login to Google.
Is there any way to solve this problem? Thanks a lot for every answer.

Are you installing the full version or just the update or patch? Try downloading the latest beta full version. Flash and wipe data you should be good.

I think I used the update patch. But the size is about 712MB.
Where could I download the latest full version?

[GUIDE]How to install CyanogenMod based ROMs

Hello there!
You are probably wondering how to install CyanogenMod based ROM on this phone. Well it's easy.
In this guide we will cover how can you install CM over stock ROM and how to upgrade/switch ROMs. So let's get started.
--------------------------------
FLASHING FROM STOCK
1) Make sure your phone is rooted
2) Download CWM Recovery (easiest install is by ROM Manager):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.rommanager
3) Choose your ROM and download it to your SD card.
You can choose either Oliver's CM ROM(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2176244)
or Maclaw's CM ROM (http://maclaw.pl)
4) Download gapps to your SD card (Google applications like Play Store, Play Services and such): http://goo.im/gapps
5) Reboot to recovery
6) Choose Wipe data/factory reset
7) After wiping go to Advanced and select Wipe Dalvik
8) After wiping (still in Advanced menu) select format /system
9) After formating choose back (or return) to go back to main menu
10) Select install zip from SD card and when next menu appears press Choose from internal SD card (or if it is on external SD press choose zip from external SD).
11) Locate where did you put your ROM and click on it.
12) After successful install refer to point number 10)
11) Locate where did you put your gapps and click on it.
12) After successful installation choose wipe data/factory reset
13) After wipe choose advanced then click on wipe dalvik
14) Go back to main menu and press reboot
If you followed all the steps you should have a working CyanogenMod ROM on your phone.
NOTE: First boot takes time.
--------------------------------
--------------------------------
Upgrading / switching CM ROMs (only if you already have CM installed)
1) Download your desired ROM and put it on your SD
2) Reboot to recovery
3) Choose Wipe Cache
4) After wipe go to Advanced and choose wipe dalvik
5) Go back to main menu and select install zip from SD card
6) Select Choose zip from internal sd (or if it is on external SD press choose zip from external SD)
7) Click on the desired ROM zip file.
8) After successful install refer to the point 3) and 4) of this part of the guide (Section Upgrading / switching)
10) Go back to main menu and press reboot
If you followed all the steps correctly you should have a upgraded ROM. Or new ROM if switching developers.
Note: First boot takes time. Its because of regeneration of all files.
--------------------------------
There you go. If you have any ideas / recommendations / post them below

I use System Tuner Pro, one click. Worked for removing the lock symbol on bootup, after rooting.
Sent from my rooted Vzr Samsung Note 3 via Tapatalk
Hold volume up, home, and power button... when you feel the vibrate, release power button... when you see blue recovery text at top of screen release the other two... wait for recovery... follow on screen instruction to select and delete and reboot.
System tuner worked great. The other methods I believe only wipes cache, not dalvik cache. I know because when I use the stock recovery to wipe cache, it doesn't do the Android is upgrading notification.
