[Q] [Need Help] Can't Login to Google & Play Store After Deleting Some Apk - Oppo Find 5

Hi all. First of all, I want to say thanks for this forum and all the contributors.
I have a problem. I use find 5. Previously, I used 20130531 rom. Then, I used 'System App Remover' application to delete some apk that are not came from original aosp rom of google.
I forget the applications' name that I had already deleted. And I didn't back up them.
After that, the find 5 can't connect anymore to Google and play store. I can't connect and restore anything from my google.
As a solution, I tried to update the os to X90_OTA_0712.zip Indonesia version. Before that, I already cleared dalvik and cache. I also 'restore factory data' first.
The process always failed. But the rom already updated. And still can't login to Google.
Then, I installed TWRP Recovery. I tried to install the rom again. Like usual, before that, I already cleared dalvik and cache. I also 'restore factory data' first.
And the recovery said the same thing like before, the zip instalation process is failed.
But when I reboot, it already become the new rom.
But the problem still occurred, I still can't login to Google.
Is there any way to solve this problem? Thanks a lot for every answer.

I already did that before. And it still can't login google. Anyway, thanks for the advice

Are you installing the full version or just the update or patch? Try downloading the latest beta full version. Flash and wipe data you should be good.

I think I used the update patch. But the size is about 712MB.
Where could I download the latest full version?
Thanks a lot

[Q] PlayStore problems

My playstore will not update apps or install new apps.
1. I have logged out and back into my google account.
2. Tried deleting PlayStore app data and force quit.
3. Deleted data from google services app and restarted tablet.
4. Installed TWRP backup from 1 week ago.
Still can't get it to work. Sometimes it will begin to download an app and then stop. Mostly it just says downloading but nothing is happening. I'd appreciate suggestions or solutions. Thanks

Network is fine. Computers on network Down 4.88Mbps Up 0.58
Then call google.
They suggest factory reset.
try flashing a different rom along with a gapps package, that could fix it
Since everything else was working I did nothing, Didn't want to reset unless absolutely necessary. Today Google Play is working again. Must have been some communication issue with Google servers.
Did you updated the latest play store?? You can get if form this link.

Have you tried re-flashing gapps via TWRP? Not the ROM but just gapps.

I did not realize that you can flash gapps over stock. I've only done it in conjunction with installation of a ROM.
If I have further problems , I'll give it a try. thanks. Currently it's working normally.

[Q] [HELP] Download again Android 4.3 via OTA

Hi to everyone,
I downloaded Android 4.3 via OTA but I didn't install it immediately. After some days by mistake I cleared all the data in the Cache, so I couldn't install it because I lost the data.
I tried to clear the data in google service framework process after I checked for the updates but my phone says the system is up to date even if I have the 4.2 installed on it. How can I download the 4.3 update again in the simplest way?

I havent rooted my phone because I don't want to lose warranty. I rooted my old HTC desire and partitioned the SD card as it had no space for apps. So I'll keep trying. Do you think Google will let me download again the ota? Or I'll be disabled for downloading the 4.3 seen that I already downloaded it?. Thank for your reply

Try it a couple of times. And make sure to clear cache AND data.
Maybe also Force close it.
You can also try the following:
Do exact to same but instead of typing *#*#blabla#*#* after deleting cache etc you gonna restart. After reboot go to system update it should be there.
I was lucky it worked for the first time but I remember members here tried it 7+ times and then got result.

Thanks I'll try to get the code for the URL. I have two questions:
1) Once I get the URL and I direct download the ota how can I install the updates? I mean (no root, no custom rom) just upgrade "legally"
2) Does the OTA delete the apps I have installed or any data like photos or music on my smartphone?
Thanks :good:

hahahahaha Legally? you act like rooting is going to get you thrown in jail.... LOL, well I have never done it "legally" as you say but I would assume there are directions in the link or on the web. Probably download zip to phone and there should be an update.zip option to use in stock recovery. OTA wont delete anything you have on your phone but ya know if you rooted it you would be able to nandroid all of that.
The pros of rooting out way any con you could possibly have but hey its your phone so enjoy. Also 4.3 stock is not exactly a major upgrade that you will notice but hopefully it fixes something you may have had an issue with on 4.2.2

i noticed defy with JB4.3 during call mute is not working?
Hi Guys,
I have the same problem with the play store and tried to install the newest 4.3 build from Quarks.
But when I restart the phone the boot menu that has the extra option to wipe dalvik and cache is gone
also when trying to flash the latest version it says that the file is wrong.
Normally when restarting the phone there were multiple option what to do, this is gone with my current 4.3 build.
Can you tell me what i need to do to get the other bootmenu back?
Thanks!

Hi, and thanks for your reply!
I updated from Quarkx CM Version 4.2 to 4.3 and also have the System Updater Pro installed.
But since the last update when I open the restart menu, I don't have options to select what should happen after the restart.
As far as I remember I could choose between: Restart, Recovery mode, etc.
Also my recovery menu is now "Android system recovery (3e)".
Before that it looked like this:
cdn.androidbeat.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/twrp_scrn.png
When trying to update the rom I get the following error:
"E: failed to verify whole-file signature"
Maybe you have a hint for me how to fix that?
You have gone to the stock recovery. Reboot your device, then during red M logo a blue LED appears. Press volume down when you see the blue LED.

[Q] Updates working?

I've been using Omni since roughly the middle of December. I've been making use of the opendelta updates...but these have stopped working since 2014-02-17. I check for updates and it tells me Your system is up to date
My phone is a N7100 (Note 2)...note sure what other information is relevant here.
Anybody else experiencing this?

Hmm, possibly the removal of the 2/18 nightly screwed up the system.
Try manually updating to see if it restarts.
I know that the Xperia ZL updates don't automagically flash... (they download on the internal sdcard drive, but attempt to flash from the external sdcard drive...)
That doesn't seem to be the issue you're describing though...

Browse to the internal in TWRP and they should autoflash then.
I need to look into fixing TWRP's default search path when flashing via a script.

I had success going into TWRP Recovery mode and unchecking the zip file signature verification box. Once I did that, the autoupdates started to work again.

I'll have a look at this when 2/24 comes out today.
Have the same problem "updates not working issue" when I did rollback to quickly solve the wifi issue on 18 feb.

I see stil see the
omni-4.4.2-20140218-n7100-NIGHTLY.zip.md5sum
file.
Can somebody remove this md5 file so i don't have to do a manual update?
This will resolve the update not working issue.

can you please tell me how to manually update omnirom, thanks
Sorry for not answer hichem but at least I see you came right.
To report back though...update went through smoothly last night.
A small (related) thing that has been bugging me though with Opendelta updates is that sometimes it takes a few Check now presses before it finds something...then it will stop and report that your system is up to date after having verified the update file you presently have and downloading the update file...press Check now again and it now patches the file before reporting that there is an update and you can flash.
Any reason to this behaviour?

[REQ][HELP]

Is there anyone who can help?
Thanks a lot before.

First of all,add atleast a subject like [REQ]GPS
Mention Device,ROM,etc for better answers.
you have to make a small change in the gps.conf for faster access (depends on your region)
also GPS requires you to be in an open area,eg.,park, street for faster lock
I tried to update from miui 6 to 7 via official update. And I am not rooted. I was stuck in a bootloop

Are you on a custom recovery ? If so , try cleaning dalvik cache.
If not , then go to the stock recovery and restore to factory settings.
If nothing works , you can always flash using the Mi Flash tool by computer.
Hope this helps.
