Where can I get a screen replacement( the whole front panel incl the display) for the phone in India?
Is it same as the normal S3 display?

I've dropped my HD2. Everything is working, including touch screen, I can unlock the phone, I can answer the call, but screen is black, not broken.
What should I do? Does the lcd screen replacement will be sufficient? In that case, could the screen be ok, but some other display "processor" could be dead? I'm asking because I'll try to this on my own.
Could simply be the lcd cable has slipped slightly but probably more likely an LCD replacement needed.
You need remove rear housing & have a look & make a decision from your findings/testing.

I've got a little update - lcd screen is working well - I mean it displays the image, the only malfunction is backlit. Right now when i use flashlign I can actually see whats on screen. Do you have experience or think that backlit connection can be repaired? Do You have any schematics for hd2' lcd ?
I suspect new LCD required by sounds of it. LCD can not be stripped for repair so after basic inspection of external connection replacement is only solution & not expensive due to falling cost of HD2 parts.
I've recently had to replace my LCD for the S5. I'm not entirely sure if this is an installation error or the dimensions of the phone screen I received are off but my front camera displays black and I see 3/4 of the notification light. It's obviously being blocked by the screen itself. Is basically my only option to have a front camera is to replace the phone screen? which is more difficult than replacing the entire LCD. What would you do in this situation?
My phone fell on the road and the screen broke, so i ordered a replacement screen with digitizer from aliexpress and followed the diy guide from ifixit. When i switched on the phone i got only two vertical white bars. I managed to unlock the phone by drawing the pattern and switched it off normally because i knew where the buttons would be even i though i couldn't see anything.
Did i do something wrong or is the replacement screen defective ?

The glass on the back is cracked, though the actual epd panel is working fine.
Also price ($78) seems crazy for a rear glass when the whole phone was only $110

I dropped my Samsung J7 Pro while using and it and then it's screen went full black and didn't work.
But the phone is on since I was able to hear the ringtone on incoming calls
Questions:
1. Cost for Screen Replacement
2. If I can do it at home by myself what will be required?
3. Can I get order the screen hardware (I assume it's called the touch screen digitizer) from somewhere?
4. No damage to the glass screen itself.

2. If I can do it at home by myself what will be required? ---- my suggestion is dont replace at home because they are costly ones and if it is broken in your hand you wont be able to replace

Can I get order the screen hardware (I assume it's called the touch screen digitizer) from somewhere? -- yeah i wen to an local shop (not a samsung service centre ) they took the phone to near by samsung service centre and replaced the screen due to out of stock and in online you wont be able to find original display i think it will be available in aliexpress or if you are an indian you can order it in maxbhi
4. No damage to the glass screen itself.--- even mine just falled down and the tempered glass even didnt broken but the screen turned into purple color and didnt work its an issue in the diaplays
