It is so pity that neither CWM 6.0.4.9 nor 6.0.5.1 are not working. Both usually stop on boot creation.But-on opposite side - nice and
modern looking of theme.

BootImage Freeze
Hi Olivier,
I have the same problem as one already mentioned here ... when trying to make a NAndroid Backup it freezes on "Backing up boot image..."
The problem is that all the other CWM version shows some bug, like -backup /data error- or something so its a REAL problem to make NAND on this tablet...
On the other hand THX for Your work man! Sincerely, JayM
PS2MirXas: Yep, posting "they work" is really helpful...

Bug!
Hey Olivier,
I just downloaded your recovery from hubdroid. It came in a .tar folder which is quite amusing. Then I extracted the recovery.IMG from the .tar folder .I used both flashify and rashr to try flashing. It said success but when I rebooted into recovery it said no command ! I did reboot the system. But please help me onto this matter.

Hi!
I rooted my Galaxy Note 2 GT N7100 before and TWRP worked just fine. But I decided to flash my device back to its stock ROM. now when I try to install TWRP again Odin would say it passed but when I reboot it so I can get to TWRP mode its stuck in Android system recovery 3e. What can I do to fix this?
hi guys, i've been on 2.6.1.0 on my i9500 rooted running PAC ROM, i've tried upgrading through the twrp manager but just says the "email the dev" thing, I've tried going through odin but for whatever reason it just freezes whenever i pick the tar file, is it possible to just flash the latest version through my current 2.6 twrp?
edit: managed to solve it myself thanks guys
edit2: twrp manager doesn't seem to work it turns out :\ it goes through all the steps and then remains on the same build.

Flash Philz Touch and no problem.
Using lastest bootloader HOA7.
Please guys and @Dees_Troy, help me.
Hi to all, I installed the TWRP manager ap from the playstore, when I go to "install TWRP" and choose my devise which I guess it's ja3g (for I9500) the app finds no versions to install, am I missing something here? I mean, I obviously am, but I can't think what it is, I'm pretty new at this.
I just rooted and wanted to install ozcan rom, but the instructions for this say that TWRP must be used, does anyone know about this?
Thanks.

So I flashed the latest TWRP 2.8.1.0 using ADB on my 2012 N7 running the official 5.0. Read the OP to see if it was compatible and didn't see anything mentioned about it. It flashed without an issue but upon booting into recovery, I got a dead robot with the red triangle with an exclamation. Does this mean that Android 5.0 isn't supported yet? Thx in advance for the help!
Edit: Reflashed and fixed. 1st flash was probably a bad download. Thx!
Edit 2: flashed recovery.img successfully, but was stuck on boot up for 30mins. Had to reflash device back to stock to fix. Is lollipop not supported yet?

Was able to figure it out and make it work. Not sure what it was that didn't let cmd flash the recovery, but when I used the flashing recovery option in NRT, it worked like a charm.

Disable automatic decryption
Apologies if this has been asked before, but how to I disable automatic decryption?
A few days ago, my encrypted Nexus 4 stopped asking for my decryption password, even though it said it was still encrypted in settings. After a lot of looking around, I figured out that TWRP was automatically decrypting my storage on boot. This is a really useful feature, but in my case, I had intentionally encrypted my device because I wanted the additional security.
There doesn't seem to be an option in TWRP settings to disable automatic decryption, so I'm wondering if anyone could help me out with what I need to do.
How can i update from 2.7.0.0

Thanks for all.
TWRP Manager - Good stuff
I had this same issue on a nexus 5. I tried restorecon with no luck. I was able to use TWRP Manager (Play Store). It noticed on bootup that my sdcard wasn't reading correctly and offered to patch it. I ran the patch, rebooted, and then was able to see TWRP folder when booted via MFT.
where can i find 2.8.6.0 flashable ZİP file please help...
TWRP 2.8.6 does not see encrypted sdcard on N4
Looks like I have a related problem to those quoted below on my N4.
I had problems with the nightly updates of CM 12.1 which would not reboot with the installed older (don't remember which release) TWRP. Thought I might need a newer recovers. Flashed 2.8.6 and now I do not get a prompt to enter the password for the encrypted device.

Backup restore always fails
Hi,
I think since version 2.8.6.0 I cannot restore any backups made with TWRP anymore. It always fails at 38% or so. I read on some forum that TWRP was not able to restore backups bigger than 1,5 GB at all. Is that true? I tried it several times with several newly created backups with no chance.
Thanks for your help!

TWRP usage for creating custom packs
Hi.
Can someone explain to me, how to use TWRP for creating custom packages? Custom flashes I mean. Let's say, I have originally SEB modem firmware and it's a bit buggy. How do I create a package for placing for example Poland's newer version of modem if I have modem.bin file from Poland's firmware. As I noticed TWRP uses zip file with files to be placed + some meta files.
Would be very thankfull if someone explain to me how to make custom packages to flash over TWRP or give me some manual how to do that.
Thanks a lot!
not worked
Hi, i just bought used note 4 (910u) phone and want to install costom rom, probelm is that its has chinese recovery and i want to change to trwp recovery. I tried to install it but nothing changes. When i go to recovery mode there is old one which is in chinese. I wont to try instal it through odin but another problem appiered i cant get in download mode. When i press power - and home its goes to recovery mode.
Can someone know how to install new recovery mode?
There's option of EFS backup in TWRP recovery.
If somehow there is some problem with EFS folder(seem to be very rare)
I can restore EFS backup again with Recovery ?
How about f2fs? Some roms have support but I didn't find any recover with f2fs support.

top right hand corner of the twrp recovery there is a settings button. It looks like a gear. It will bring up a list of options. Make sure "zip file signature verification" is unchecked. Then hit the back button. Now select "mount" and make sure you have "system" checked. That will insure that your sd files are recognized.
***ALSO THERE IS NO REASON TO DO ADB SIDELOAD. DOWNLOAD THE 5.1 ZIP, PUT IT ON YOUR INTERNAL SD CARD, AND FLASH BY GOING TO TWRP RECOVERY, MOUNT SYSTEM, HIT THE INSTALL OPTION, GO TO WHERE YOU PUT THE 5.1 ZIP ON YOUR SD CARD., SELECT IT, SWIPE TO INSTALL, MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOADED THE GAPPS ZIP ALSO, INSTALL THAT RIGHT AFTER THE 5.1 ZIP INSTALLS, REBOOT! GOOD TO GO!********
