i made a quick photo but with the phone the difference is very high...

Fantastic, its the only thing left that bugs me about the G3. Im pretty sure it affects the entire screen, not just text, so im looking forward to seeing if it improves the contrast.
Does it need a new Kernel? If so can it be on both KK and LP, since im not a fan of the current 20A build.

Wow ! You made my day !! I hope it won't be so hard to fix. I'm kinda new to android stuff, the lg g3 is my first android phone, and without this stupid oversharpening thing, it will be perfect ! Just one question, is it finally kernel related ?

Thread subscribed. I'm coming form G2 (D802) and the first thing I noticed is that f***ing oversharpening. (And of course a more warmer color, but this is ok)
Waiting for your kernel!

Amazing ! Keep up the good work! Finally we ll get rid of oversharpening
In "skin1980" we trust.

Very interesting!
As someone who can't see/get annoyed/notice this bug I really want to try this to see if it makes any difference for me.

Sony Ericsson now announced to update X10 from 2.1 to Android 2.3
so its look that all the functions fully worked in x10 after it, because the custom rom of 2.3 is not working properly.
as camera is not working and others.....

Link to support will be apreciated But this was already known...
A few months late to the party buddy, this is yesteryear's news
Hello all
This news is good but look at the work of XDA developers...
They made a lot for rom same as CM7 and Tnmiui, i actualy use cm6.1.3 and a will use CM7.
I didn't think that sony ericsson made best rom than XDA developers.
So i just wait XDA developers use the rom 2.3 of SE to made better rom...
Sorry for the english, i'm french... ^^

Lol, devs here also create great ROMS. But he is a little bit right, if you want a really bug free ROM, SE will provide that. It will take our Devs a little bit longer to provide such a bug-free version. I'm not saying ther aren't good. They are even VERY good. I couldn't do it better.

Agreed, but the point of this thread was like "omg look at the news!!"
I'm just so sick of people not reading, or not bothering to search.
I see it soooo much, and it gets to me
IMO the best rom will be when we customize the SE 2.3, remove the junk, enable JIT if it won't be and similar stuff...that will probably be the daily ROM for most

IMHO the best rom would be a CM7 rom, with all the x10 2.3.3 theming and dialer, phonebook, sms, etc. base apps =D
Sure that would be easy to port since they are both gingerbread and we should get the GB kernal in our update.

Android really is a piece of **** im surprised it even functions at all. Next device will be a Windows Phone, this by far is the smoothest interaction i've ever experienced with a smart phone. Hopefully more apps will be available.

[CM11] Android 4.4 Kitkat Preview By temasek Video REVIEW

Hey guys! So as you would have probably seen, Android 4.4 kitkat is out for the Galaxy S3 ! Big news right, I know im excited!
So I checked it out, its smooth and as far as I can tell pretty damn stable, no crashes or bugs for the short time I was using it
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVipBbrfCkQ
This video goes over the basics, Theres not a lot in it which is to be expected and the video doesnt contain as much information as id like, you could probably hear I was talking fast and too excited to actually record! nevertheless, I will make another video when its got more features or if theres a newer version Etc.
Let me know what you think, are you going to install it?

Theres been quiet a few new versions out for this ROM, might give it a go
Good review. I've now got version 10 installed and it is working perfectly. Super fast, no fc issues, and pretty decent battery life so far.
Thanks for all.
Hello,
Great ROM! I have a question though... Does anyone know where I can find the setting for Active Display? I'm not sure if the functionality is in there... I'm on V8.
Thank you in advance!
Nice video. I have a lot of faith in Temasek. He is a great dev!
Cheers
I am interested in whether there is support for Bulgarian language! This stops me try! Sorry for bad English!
This ROM is amazing. There are some camera issues but as I never use the camera it's become my daily. The battery life is a huge step up from samsung ROMs, I put my phone through quite heavy usage and 1 charge a day is more than enough. Compare that to it basically living on the charger cable with other ROMs. I've had 6 devices and many variants of CM, this is right up there in terms of optimisation and speed. I'm sure once temasek resolves the few remaining issues it will be one to beat. Can't recommend it enough. Haven't been this excited for ROM releases since codefirex on my old desire HD.

We knew LG is going to release it before end of the year, but as we can see work on the update is in advanced state already.
Screenshot shows that interface isn't going to be changed dramatically. IMO that's a good thing.

If they were going to release a rom before the end of 2014 (less than 2 months away) they were always going to have the rom in a near complete state by the middle of this month at the latest.
Mixture of lg's ui and lollipop's ui...
It is awkward
I have a feeling it's going to be a horrible mess of elements.
I doubt about "a few".... 2 or 9 . Anyway, this is a good new.
Oh man. That quick settings panel looks horrible. I hope the finished product doesn't carry those Optimus UI elements.
Jesus, that's terrible looking.
LG
Please dont use this disgusting color in lollipop
It is not appropriate color for lollipop
Why the softkey doesn't change ?
It's not final.
I don't know why are you telling it looks horrible. G3 UI is flat and fits material design. Notifications look same as on N5 + quick settings. Nothing horrible here imo...

There are already Lollipop KDZs for the F400 variants out there now! You gotta pay for them on this site but Im sure they will surface "other" places very soon
http://www.lgbbs.net/forum-65-1.html
Honestly I wished LG would provide us a more "vanilla" look... Apart from the introduction screen and notification panel not much seem to have change graphically :/
Just hoping it's not the final look
I just wish they would forget about updating to Lollipop and concentrate all of their available resources on properly optimising what we already have.
Oh god i am so hyped.
