What do you intend to do with the bootloader?
AFAIK only AT&T and Verizon models have locked bootloader(?).

i will be buying a n9005 note 3 tomorow & i was wondering if its ok to buy carrier branded n9005's such as SFR telecoms? the phones have been unlocked as such but will it be compatible to mods here? i also have a choice of the n9000 but i want a smartphone with the snapdragon 800
so if the carrier thing isnt a wise way to go...i might just opt for the Z1 or something...thank you

If you want to make root, look if the for de rom is mj1, mj3, if is mj7, you have to void knox and warranty, pres in phone *#1234#
no...what i meant to say was...is a n9005 with carrier logo as bootanimation before the samsung one eligible to the same sort of modding as a unlocked n9005? also this carrier flashing n9005 was probably unlocked because any sim works

Only ATT/Verizon and possibly Sprint lock their bootloaders,
I just tried it and I can actually request the unlock code, I won't unlock it until we get a functional TWRP but I just wanted to let you guys know. If the Mexican version is bl unlockable then the other international non-Verizon variants should be as well.
I have the Mexican AT&T Z Play too (XT1635-02) and I can confirm that the bootloader is unlockeable
Everything Motorola puts out is unlockable unless it's some scumbag carrier (Verizon) exclusive. Hopefully this device gets some attention from devs.

You can find the instructions on how to do it pretty much anywhere, just Google "Motorola bootloader unlock" and you'll find tutorial videos in Spanish on how to do it in a better way than I ever could.

I can confirm, I succesfully unlocked my Mexican att xt1635-02 without any trouble.
unlocked bootloader without a problem, MX AT&T variant
And everything's still working after that? Camera, telephone, etc.?

I would suggest you start a new thread with this (MZP Q&A), including phone ID (-02) and locked carrier - give this topic more visibility and hopefully someone will see it and give you a fix.

Just got this phone to replace my old s6e, but sadly find out there seems no way to unlock the bootloader on sd ver s8.
the phone is bought unlocked, I just not see a reason samsung lock the bl.
I don't care any knox, safe folder, frp, those bs, I just want be able to install magisk .
Is there any news for that?

There is no way the bootloader can be unlocked currently, the decision was made by the carriers to lock the bootloaders I think as all exynos versions can so there has to be influence from somwhere, that's why the only other sd that can is the Chinese variant.

It doesn't really matter, you'll be using a carrier one way or another. The reason why I say American and Canadian carriers is because China has the snapdragon variant and there bootloader can be unlocked, so influence is coming from somewhere other wise the Chinese variant would be locked also.
