CM11 -> CM12 worked for me
I had CM11 with SU.
After installing latest ClockworkMod I flashed the CM12 without issues..
it only gave me 1 error of unmounting/device busy for /data... just ignore it... (althought i missed a heart beat )
then installed superSu v2.19 beta....
works like a charm...
Only thing not working is "Enable quick boot mode"... but that's ok... not an problem...
Thanks
-Amit

kernels
Sorry to bug you.... Just downloaded your cm 12 for the nexus 4. Great rom... Are there any compatible kernels thus far?

How about national roaming in this cm version?

Not yet implemented

ok
Will be flashing at once

Smooth and User friendly rom
Today I downloaded this custom rom and flashed it through recovery. After that it took me 12 to 15 mins to load to the desktop. Then I flashed the gapps and the supersu v2.16 and rebooted the device. This rom is really cool and it is working great. Battery performance is tremendous. Thanks to the developer for giving such a nice custom rom.
I hope in future theme chooser and other things will be implemented. I am waiting for the updates to come at the earliest.

ok
I flashed it all seems well... O i did find something in the rom... It's not a big deal. And is there a Franco based kernel floating around?

Good ROM
Although premature and pretty much stock AOSP, this build runs well so far. Good battery life and no bugs, really. Got this mainly for DSP Manager (it works!), will be upgrading until an official CM12 build. Thanks for the good work! ?

Excellent work - Small feedback
Hello!
Just to let people know that like myself wondered if it would be ok - This can be flashed using CWM6 I used it myself to flash this!
I got one error as soon as it started flashing about unmounting/device busy but if you just wait the install continues succesfully I went from CM11 Snapshot 12 but I did not dirty flash as I figured that would be the fastest way to introduce errors.
After the first attempt all seemed fine but it simply would not connect to wireless or data connections so bounced back into recovery, wiped data, cache and Dalvik and booted back up and all is working great.
The only app so far that does not work with me is Google authenicator - Can anyone else confirm if this app is working for them or not? It force closes everytime I click Begin setup - Little anoying as I use 2 step auth for my Gmail
Other than this build runs brilliantly and I would like to thank the original poster for his work and time

Yeah the authenticator works for me. May have to wipe and reflash. I found 2 bugs. When you using LTE on our nexus 4 it still says 3g on the status bar. But when you pull it down it says LTE on the tiles......and when you are watching a video on chrome or Facebook. The video plays them freezes but you can still hear and the timer is still going but the video itself is froze.... Check and see if these things happen to you
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Free mobile app

Can i update this build later with the Original CM 12 Nightly´s?

Will this cm rom fit to my I8730ZHAMG2
I mean is the lte network workable on this rom for my country?
I don't see why not If you bought your phone in your current country, then most likely local LTE will work out of the box.
AFAIK @szezso has already ironed out all LTE issues in CyanogenMod.
Is it possible to include ota update in the release?
Appeared this date is correct?

Bluetooth and zoom
Hello, thank you very much for all the work you do, I've tried several versions of this ROM and all have the same problem, do not know if it's just me, but if it serves my comments to improve this ROM, because I come to mention it.
*The bluetooth does not admit any shipment or receipt, and the camera does not zoom. A greeting.
Just installed the November 2nd build. The Wi-Fi power drain I noticed in October 26th build is gone.
Keep up the great work!
Audio problem
hello
I installed the ROM . So far, no problem ... except during a call, I noticed that the sound was ultra garbled ! It's really disagreeable ... Does anyone have the same problem? Also, someone has a solution for this problem?
Update: also, all music is fast and no matter what the support (player of the phone, spotify ...)
Thank you for your quick answer
Everything went good CM works great for a now I will see later
thanks szezso
Flash the I8730XWAMK1 baseband via odin (bootloop)
Can I still flash the I8730XWAMK1 baseband via odin even though my Samsung Express is stuck up at samsung logo? Im planning to flash to CM 11.0 for Samsung Express and Im bothered about this step on flashing the I8730XWAMK1 baseband via odin.
Battery issue
Thanks for this awesome mod, it's really nice, I had it, but I changed back to stock 4.1.2, because I have problem with this mod, it drain battery very fast!! It dropped from 75% till 30 % in like 2 hours. It wasn't used often, I was on work, and been checking Facebook each 15 minutes, but wasn't long using it, only 5 minutes. I like mod and I'd like to have it, but I can't stand with battery drain. On stock, I can use phone for atleast 2 days with normal usage and playing games. If you guys have any solutions to my problem, I'd really appriciate it!
CWM 11.0 bugs / Solution made it worse
Hey.
I managed to install properly the cwm 11 on my samsung but it turned out to have all those bugs listed on the main thread. (No audio, phone blackout, etc)
After that i tried the solution given on that same thread, install another firmwire. What happened was, during it, odin had some kind of failure and it stopped, which turned my phone into a rock. After some research on our good friend Google i managed to bring it back to life but its still a bit buggy.
The thing is: Why didnt the solution worked/odin had a failure? I was so hyped about having the new android version.
(Sorry for my not-so-perfect english)
can someone place working link for I8730XWAMK1 baseband?
Magnetic
After a some time testing this build I've noticed that magnet sensor doesn't work at all. Any suggestions?
Battery problem
My battery drains too fast with last build.
Flash method
Hi guys, and thank for your hard work.
I have the Express, it's my girlfriends phone and it's totally stock.
My question is:
Should I still flash some Baseband from a stock rom or this is not required?
Is the method something like:
1- Backup
2 - Root (Framaroot?)
3 - Flashify
4 - Flash recovery (TWRP 2.8.7.0 ?)
5 - All Wipes
6 - Flash CM11 or CM12 and then GAPPS
Any hint on the latest good GAPP that as no issue with the latest CM versions?
Thank in advance.
An update!
Hey guys, first of all, thanks for this awesome ROM. I am owner of an I8730 device, I don't prefer latest 5.1.1 CM ROM, not a fan of the Lolipop at all. Just been wondering, do you guys plan to push an update so far? Or it's a dead project ?
Have been used it for 1 year now, and haven´t had bigger problems.
the sensors work poorly (rotation, liniar accelerometer, gravity)
After a some time testing this build I've noticed that magnet sensor doesn't work at all.
And the same happens to me. [ROM] CyanogenMod 511 12.1 baseband: I8730XWAMK1.
StockRoom initially is Vodafone I8730XWAMB7 .
I install apps from the Google Play store. The problem is That the application does not work Any type: compass, or planetarium.
I think drivers are the problem sensor.
Linear Acceleration AOSP Sensor--AOSP
Gravity Sensor ----------------------- AOSP
Orientation Sensor ------------------ AOSP
Try installing Androsensor.apk, Skeye.apk or Compass.apk and say what problems you have.
Weak wifi
Any idea what could cause to have poor wifi signal? How it is performing at yours devices guys?

Hey guys, awesome work with this rom!!
I've a problem and a question:
Problem: i can´t turn off BT when the rom is +1 day without reboot... Stays in "turning off bluetooth" but don't turn off, it stays on until reboot. I've a miBand connected for a while, not all the time, don't know if it's the problem...
It occurs me on the 04/02 and 06/02 version at least (have the miBand since 03/02).
Question: Are you going to include a 2G/3G toggle and a on/off data (not getting you to the data mini-info, directly on/off )? I really appreciate it too much.
Thank you all for this work!!!
Awesome ROM. Add toggle 2G/3G please. Good work!!!
Mates, the wifi bar in battery stats keeps getting bigger even when I have it disabled. I have disabled the Google setting for letting the phone scan for networks when the phone is sleeping. Anyone knows how to fix that?

I was Mahdi ROM fanboy since years and when Euphoria took over, I was very happy!. Unfortenatly, the improvemnets I prevoisuly sugesteed where not even considered and there came Resurrection Remix ROM to help. I'm using using RR since months and now with Clear Recent button center option made, I'd want to tell what short things many users still look at,
1 Please Revert 26.01.2015 New status bar clock options (some options have been removed). Old clock with custom JAVA format with capital date was awesome and I can't find reason for your work to remove that.

Vs.
2 Quick Pulldown is good, but many are comfortable with SMART PULLDOWN (Like toggles open when no notifications are there)
3 Current Clear all icon, can be replaced with GOOD X ICON
Vs.
4 Network Traffic meter is Great, but please give us option to place in LEFT side. Right side always remains full for all icon with center clock used.
Thanks for Mahdi786 for all-time work. These are just my comments (Only 4 small things). Until my favorite ROM includes these (at-least few), I won't have to switch from RR!!!

Is there any mirror for latest update?

I have installed this rom today, so far it was very good until I find out that it is not rooted, I dont understand whay it is not rooted.
Flash SuperSU in recovery.
Confirming a successful flash for the F2FS version; wiped & flashed as instructed, and the Nexus 7 is flying through everything as well as one could hope for! Only caveat I ran into was lack of root, but that was quickly solved by flashing SuperSU in recovery (I'm using TWRP 2.8.3.0). Definitely makes it feel like a brand new device. I might have to throw the appropriate version of this ROM on my HTC One M8 in the case I don't like the stock Lollipop update when that shows up.
Hello, I first lost my root but flashing su from recovers olurdu the problem. But GPS still does not work. Also Bluetooth starts but streaming music, sound ext is interrupted, just like buffering all the time.

Hi all, can i flash xenon beta4 on N5 after wiping cache, dalvik and system? ( without wipe data to preserve it)
Hey all
Does the inclusion of the CM theme engine prevent installation/running of live wallpapers?
I normally use the Radiant Particles live wallpaper & although I've downloaded it I'm unable to install it & get a message that the app is not installed (although it's visible in the wallpaper picker).
I'm using the F2FS build on a clean unit.
Cheers, Paul
Original Layout?
First of all thanks so much for this ROM and all the support here. This is my first experience using a custom ROM, trying to breath life back into my 2012 Nexus 7 which had become so bogged down it was virtually useless. The improvement is incredible. I also don't have GPS working, but the only thing I was using that for was smart unlock, I can live without it until there's a fix.
My only question is, is there any way to get back to the original home screen layout, 6 icons across 6 in the tray? I found posts about adjusting the DPI and but that's a deprecated fix. I apologize if this is a ridiculous question, but again, totally new to this. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Nevermind, found the slim launcher settings!
@alan081954 Have you tried clear data and cache of Google Play Services and Framework, etc.? I had problems with GPS and GCM as well but after I did that, it's all better now.
Busybox Question
I installed latest ROM, and I installed Busybox (chainfire) and updated from 1.22 to 1.23. Now it appears I have a "busybox" file in /sbin, and in system/xbin
Sysem x/bin has all the other files.
My main problem is Parcel backup isn't restoring app data.
error: Cannot link executable: can not locate symbol "_res_get_state" referenced by busybox.
What to do?

Hi, how I root this rom? I tried enable acess root on developer options, flashing supersu.zip, installing busybox, superuser.... but doesn't work
How i do? thanks
Installing supsersu from recovery should give you root. If not, I'm not sure; sorry.
Followed all instructions to format to f2fs, but then when i try to push the files to the nexus 7 my nexus toolkit initiates the process but gets stuck "waiting for device" I have no idea what i am doing wrong.

The ROM is based on AOSP so why are you guys asking for screenshots? The core UI of the phone is the same as any other AOSP based ROM like Omni, Cyan e.g. It's the tweaks and performance that individualize a rom so asking for screenshots is pointless...

Which kernel to use to fix mobile data usage problem?
Hi Guys,
I'm just new on the forum here and got a small question. My girlfriend has an Oppo Find 7a with ColorOS on it. In my opinion ColorOS is crappy as hell. Lots of problems, so I flashed Dirty Unicorns 5.02 on it. Works fine so far, except that the battery was 100% before I went to bed and when I woke up 8 hours later, it was 64%. I checked the battery usage and it seems mobile data keeps connecting over and over again. This seems to be the cause of the battery drainage. On the forum I found something which I want to try:
I have been doing some more testing and if I have wifi on and mobile data off or the opposite (wifi off, mobile data on) battery life is really good but if I have both activated at the same time the battery drains fast.
Edit: I flashed the latest Alucard kernel (1.1a) and that seem to have fixed my problem. Battery life is great now.
Last edited by nds850; 20th February 2015 at 05:36 AM.
My only question is: Which Alucard kernel do I exactly need? I know it's version 1.1a, but there are different ones found. Can someone tell me or provide me the correct link?

I couldn't find a thread for the official nightlies, so here it is I guess. If there is an issue with this, mods delete. Just would be nice to have a spot to talk about the official nightlies.....unofficially.
I'm running 4/20 build with full stock gapps and have no issues so far.
4/21 Build, still no noticeable issues.
I think i am having this conversation with myself.. lol
I'm watching the thread. Want to flash CM12.1 but want to see how stable the builds are first. So any information is helpful.

I really haven't had any issues.. been running the nightlies since they were available from other users who built them, now just running the official ones. I will report anything I find, but so far it's been flawless.
The only issue I seem to be having is incoming mms photos are really compressed. Anyone else have this issue?
I believe the only major bug currently is, VoLTE is broken.
I just installed 4-21 yesterday and seen that today's build 4-22 will have the 5.1.1 merged so I dirty flashed over 4-21 and all seems good so far. I can't test VoLTE because I don't have it in my area.
I just did the same.
I did notice some weird stuff on the 4/20 build, but I think it was related to my DPI change. I reverted back to the stock DPI and everything seems ok now.
I have volte on Verizon but I believe its like chroma if u reboot u have to turn off then back on

4/22 build is slow to send SMS at times and noticed the messaging app is goofy at times. I'll be in a message and normally it would say the contacts name on top, sometimes that is missing.
Will wipe and try new build and report back.
Has anybody else had issues with Bluetooth randomly shutting off and requiring a reboot to turn back on? I'm on 4/23 update.
I'm running into an issue where I just can't get cm 12.1 to boot. I had an issue w/ Chroma and flashed back to the latest factory images including bootloader, radio, everything. From there, I have TWRP back and working but no matter which combination of cm12.1 build I try with any of Zen, Franco or Lean kernels along w/ the gapps from the cm wiki, I just get stuck at the blue robot and expanding circle boot logo. No amount of time sitting (10+ minutes) allows it to pass. Admittedly I have not tried w/o a kernel, but I don't want to encrypt it. The phone boots fine with stock just fine. A new install of Chroma works as well without issue. Thoughts anyone? Thanks in advance.

Probably some changes have been done that those kernels dont support, for Zen did you use the anykernel zip? That *should* work.
Also, VoLTE works, but you must first toggle it off, then toggle it on. If you reboot, you must redo these steps, but it does work.
Anyone got volte to work on verizon yet on the latest 12.1 nightlies?
Mine has been working just fine
can anyone post a link to the official thread? i can't find it

Thanks, I had ignored that one cuz it said 5.0 not 5.1. Also, not sure why it's in general, but it looks like this is the one I want. Thanks again
4/28 Nightly with the "super alpha" xposed 5.1 is working great for me.
