Sprint Will Have The Nexus 6 Available For Sale Online And In Stores On November 14th - Nexus 6 General

Sprint is touting the Nexus 6's support for its Spark LTE network and Easy Pay plans. You can get the new Nexus on Sprint for $29 per month for 24 months, or pay the entire cost of $696 up front.
At least, we're getting more information which is good. Anyone getting it on Sprint? Remember you can pay the full cost, pop in another carrier's sim and be on your way.

sprint user purchased on goog play. paid full amount to stay off contract. already have the nano sim.
thanks for posting.

Thier not gonna have a contract price?

Did the phone come with a proper nano sim from Google or did you have to get one from a Sprint store?

Damn
I hope they announce the on contract price soon. if they don't I will be switching to At&T ...

Why would it come with a sim? You get your sim from your carrier.

Thanks for posting. I think I'll still be ordering from the play store just because I'd like the option to bring this phone to another carrier at will but hopefully these preorders will help clear up the inventory on the play store in the beginning of December when I'm planning to order the phone.

This information is correct. I spoke to someone at the store and they told me that the phone will arrive there in a few days and will be ready for sale on the 14th.
My main question was if they are going to have the 64gb since there are rumors going around that sprint will only sell 32gb. I was basically told that they still don't know because the corporate email hasnt been sent. They also told me that they may have the 64gb since similar thing happened with the iphone6. They were told that they will only sell certain models, but in the end they got them all.
edit. called the customer support and after looking into it, i was told that all versions and colors will available.

They're most likely misreading the memo which says only Midnight Blue 32GB will be offered but then goes on to list the other models and that those models can be purchased through Google and cannot be covered under TEP.

I wish people would quit saying this. There is no memo. Nothing official has been passed around. I know it doesn't mean anything to anyone but my neighbor who is over all engineers over all of the LTE roll out here in Michigan and all of Cali and Hawaii says all 4 options will be available. Like I said, take that for what you will.

Inb4 #delayedlaunch...hope it doesnt happen but I wouldnt be surprised.

This is good news for Sprint users but why was only one price point mention?

T-mobile got delayed to the 19th.

For Sprint it would dumb not to sell all versions. That's potentially going to cost them customers. For them it's all about income.

given the tmo delay...i suspect Sprint is going to delay as well.

Sprint will most definitely be only selling the 32GB Midnight Blue version. But any version will work if you buy from the Play Store

Verizon Galaxy Note 2 @ Best Buy.

Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone had an idea when best buy will be carrying the Verizon galaxy note 2?
I was at best buy today and the sales lady said she heard not until next year but that seems crazy to wait that long since all the other carriers already have it.

I'm a bestbuy employee and I can't tell you the exacts but I can tell you to "expect" them to be released tomorrow. These are not verizon exclusive phones like the DNA, meaning only Verizon can sell the DNA for a few weeks, best buy and other third party retailers to follow. The note should launch in line at best buy with Verizon. Honestly it makes me sick to know we have people in the company like this lady who don't do their research, when it is their job. If she would look in our inventory system that every employee has access to and look at the advance details of the note II for verizon, she should see that her store has them on order with a provided street date.
Provide me with your stores location Equalizir and I'd be happy to check for you since she didn't.

Hi Jdedeaux,
Thanks for the info. Also thanks for looking up when they'll be getting them. Here's the address:
611 Mark's Street
Henderson, Nv.89014
I don't want to bash the salesperson because she was super nice and answered my other questions. I get very little help at this particular location. One year I came in to buy a new tv. I asked a girl to help me and she said she'd be right back. 5 minutes later she was talking to someone else. I had to get someone from a different department. It really sucked.
So thanks again, I really appreciate it.

Jdedeaux,
Would we be able to go to a Best Buy tonight, and prepurchase or put a deposit down on one of these to guarantee pickup for tomorrow?
Any idea if the stores in Reston, Tyson's Corner or Alexandria Virginia will have any in stock tomorrow (specifically, Grey)?
Thanks!

Yes, the Verizon Note 2 has been available to preorder for a couple weeks now. You basically purchase a $50 gift card from them for the right to have one reserved. The are only taking reservations for the white ones.

^^ This. Most stores don't realize we are doing pre sales on them. As far as only the white ones I cant confirm that - but all your store "should" have them in stock tomorrow - as far as how many I can't say .... just go camp the door @ 9/10am.

Thanks again. Does Best Buy price match Verizon Wireless if I'm buying off-contract? I know theirs will be $100 more expensive, but I have $400 in gift cards burning a hole through my pocket (of course, they won't know that until I walk up to the register).
You don't want them to price match Verizon. You want them to price match ATT or Wal-Mart. I think I've read Wal-Mart was cheaper too.

Yes, best buy will price match off contract prices for the exact same model as long as verizon has it in stock and it is a corporate verizon store, not a third party verizon store.

Lol...what??? Best Buy WILL NOT price match a verizon galaxy note II for an ATT Galaxy note II. Two different products despite the same name. Wal-Mart though will suffice, again as long as it is the SAME CARRIER, and they have it in stock.
Don't forget to get bestbuys monthly protection plan on your phone. Unlimited claims , no deductibles, 9.99 a month, can cancel at anytime. Covers water, accidental damage, screen breaks, etc. etc.
The Verizon Galaxy Note 2 is on WWW.BESTBUY.COM now!!! Check your store via zip code and see if they have it in stock (most stores "should")! Both white and titanium grey!!!!
I went to my local best buy this morning and the salesperson said they haven't gotten them in yet. She said probably sometime next week.

Just called best buy, they will hold one for me, but I can't find any add (for price match) lower than $699.99 from Verizon web page. I did some searching, but can't find anything. If someone don't mind helping me, please post a link with a cheaper price tag! That would be great!!! Thanks in advance.

Best buy just outright refused to price match off contract, and told me that they aren't even supposed to be selling them off contract. I bought the white one, but I'll use it for 3 weeks, return it for my money back, and then force them to price match whatever price Verizon is selling theirs at. I was pissed, but bent over a barrel since I wanted the phone.

Did you ask to speak to a mobile manager or a general manager? That's absurd that they wouldn't price match it. We are ALWAYS willing to sell phones off contract. This goes back to my original post about poor workers in this company. We are currently in the season for price matching, it is even on the new we are price matching AMAZON.

Mobile stores in NYC selling unlocked Nexus 4?

Hi!
I'll be in NYC on a vacation later this year (I live outside the US). I really want to buy Nexus 4 but I don't want to buy it from the Play Store because I'm not sure what the delivery options are. Since I'm a tourist I don't want to spend parts of a day in my apartment waiting for a courier.
So I think the solution would be to buy from a walk-in store in NYC. I need the phone to be unlocked obviously and free of contracts.
Can anyone recommend such a store?
Is T-Mobile selling no contract Nexus phones?
Thanks,
uh huh. quite the markup though. I believe they are running a promo on it for $50 on contract right now though, so I'm not sure how that's affecting tmo's supply if you're looking to be able to just pick one up. Lotta tmo stores in nyc though...

I'm not sure what you mean about the markup - I don't understand your answer .
It doesn't really help me that there a lot of Tmobile stores and that they're running a promo for contracts, because I was pretty specific about the fact that I live outside the US and looking for a non contract deal.
Also, I mentioned it'll be "later this year" so the fact that there's a promo now doesn't really say anything about the stock situation later this year.
Anyone with a good answer?
Thanks

The dude is on vacation to US and u r asking him to buy a US-based contract phone, where he will have to show himself as US citizen to purchase the contract-based phone and then pay monthly bills?
Way to go.:good:
Both the op and filthykid need to go and read ziddey`s reply because i understand it perfectly instead of being antagonistic to him.
He stated yes it is available but there is a markup so not the price in play store.
He said there was a current promo on contract phones so that may affect supply of non contract(he never said go and buy a contract)
He said there are loads of tmobile stores in NYC-so shouldn`t be an issue finding one.
As for later in the year- get a crystal ball.
Yes they do but they're like twice as much as they are on the Play Store. I'd advise purchasing it there for 350 USD. Don't buy them on eBay, Amazon, or Swappa because people sell them for twice the Play Store price to take advantage of people when Google's Nexus 4 inventory is empty.

Bummer...No Carrier-owned pre order yet

Amaze how quickly went fast on Google Play Store, but upset that Google let the carriers control their own pre orders.
The carriers probably prefer to have their act together before they open pre-orders

And before you ask, NO, AT&T controls every information flow and like 85% of employees knows what is happening with the company after the company make it official like plans, device, etc.
So even I don't know when AT&T will began preorders.

I knew I was going to be asked anyways, so I went ahead with some of my friend at Business Solution (I am a Customer Care Rep) and Business Solution as part of selling to companies, they sometimes have from a week to a week and a half in advance to know before hand what device will be launching next and currently.....No further details.... -_-

I don't think so, they announced that date two weeks ago and haven't changed it.
Checked today's Sprint Playbook. Not one word about the Nexus 6 in the entire thing. I'm really disappointed. All they taljed about is the stupid Sprint Leasing and the even more stupid Galaxy Gear S.
Maybe there will be some kind of announcement on the Sprint Newsroom website or in next Wednesdays Playbook buy I'm tired of being in the dark on this....
I'm gonna laugh my butt off if I get to walk into a retail carrier store and pick up a N6 fully unlocked for zero down and low monthly zero interest payments, and get it before the Play Store pre-orders even get shipped out.....

I pay the same price for my device on VZW Edge as you would pay buying it out right. Zero interest. The payment gets zeroed out each month by the bill credit for the 10gb More Everything plan I have too..... so I pay the retail tax and then 24 months later I own the device outright.

You don't have to wait 24 months to upgrade. It was 12 months you could trade it in for whatever was new. Now it's 18 months. But that assumes you make the minimum payments. You can pay as much as often as you want.
I dont want to own any device I've had after 2 years lol

Try out the Nexus 6 a few days before it's released at T-Mobile!

Coming back from one of my local T-Mobile stores I was able to find out that Nexus 6 stock should be coming in a few days before the 12th (some state as much as 4/5 days before release). That said the Reps will be able to have and use a Demo model that while not all Retailers will have a kiosk ready for to use, you can ask to try it out before release!
My local Store specifically stated that Next Monday (The 10th) will likely be the date of when the shipment will come in for most stores (Demo units and stock prep for the release on the 12th).
I suggest anyone who has any last minute reservations about the Nexus 6 to go into your local T-Mobile Store early next week to see if they have a demo model ready to show off and use!
We are not supposed to bring out any type of demo until release. Of course there are stores who do not follow policy. No one really knows when that stock will come until they get an email for the next days shipment.
If that's the case, pre-orders better be shipping out before demo units.

FYI to all those interested, the T-Mobile phone will likely be the same as the play store. However, Verizon and Sprint likely won't allow it on their network. The play store Nexus 6 should have it's IMEI in everyone's system, but I doubt you will be able to get a T-Mobile purchased Nexus 6 activated on Sprint or Verizon. At least not without some work.

Asking or calling the store. There's no online resource for this. There's franchises, resellers . those stores want to make money on account not just sales of devices. They'll refuses off contract phone sales, specially on hot items. Some people on here will tell you they have but they could be living in another part of the country, different stores, etc. You're welcome to call and ask your local stores but don't be surprised if they say no.

Was it a corporate store? I've worked for tmo and been with them for many years. Unless the manager is lax or its a corporate store they don't let you walk about h less you have service with them. Aside from prepaid that is.

It was a T-mobile store in a mall, and the cashier sold it to me, no manager was involved. I recently went to a different store when the Note 4 came out and asked (to see if I still could buy it outright). The employee said yes and showed me the price to buy it ouright, which was $30 more than the full price with a postpaid plan.
Just called my tmobile local store. Biiig NO on selling the device without an account.

T-Mobile receiving limited stock

Only select stores will be receiving stock in time for launch. There is a list of stores that will be receiving. If your reps do not know how to check I would check with them tomorrow or Tuesday to see if they got their shipment. Sometimes our stores get two shipments throughout the day and the phones could arrive in the evening shipment. A lot of stores got their iPhones 6 and Note 4 phones the day of release in the evening. For those of you planning on walking in and buying it without service will have a hard time. I am sure stores are going to hold their limited stock for current customers. Reps/stores make no commission selling you a phone without service.
I talked to an in-store rep yesterday. I told him I am on prepaid and he said he would totally sell one to me.
But if I do end up going to the store for one, I am worried it will come down to the person selling me it. But I've asked around quite a bit (in the Seattle area) and have yet to find someone that won't sell it outright to a prepaid customer. It's just a shame that the stores will only have the 32gb version
Is there any word on online purchasing through tmobile. I want the 64gb only.

It'll happen on the 12th. I believe in heard more options were available over the phone and online. I'd just call the day before so they call tell you or there might be more info released this coming week.

If stock is available yes. If you're going to be putting it on EIP you will receive an email to accept the financial payments agreement. You must do this or they will not ship out the order. Check spam folders if you don't see it in your inbox.

Quick question. My jump got messed up by a rep so instead of having one jump still available it says I can't use it until ext year. After round about of reps and store managers I've been told I can only use jump over the phone with customer care. On the 12th can customer care do a jump upgrade for me over the phone or will it get screwed up? Sorry about OT

Go into a store have the rep call retail support. If there was an issue they should be able to reset it properly. Customer Care can process your order too but since the orders go live at midnight. By the time the call centers open the phone could hit backorder status.

I've heard from two different sources (one in store rep) that it would cost more without t-mobile service. Does anyone know the different prices?
The only thing I could think of that would make that true is taxes.

Two questions : Is T-Mo version the same as the play store version and will T-Mo be selling the 64gb phone? I know we may not know the answers.
Edit, I see the T-Mo website has the 64gb listed.
