Earlier i was trying to take advantage of the sale on gta 3 but when i go to buy it google won't let me. Is their anyway to buy it without having a phone that can run it. The reason i ask is because im going to get the s3 when if it comes to verizon.

N4 32GB?

I was planning to get the Nexus 4 this weekend then I heard a rumor about a 32gb version.

I wanted to get the 16gb version tomorrow. I didn't get my N7 until after they release the 32GB N7 and they got rid of the 8gb n7 and lowed the price of the 16gb. I'm a college student trying to say money.
Do you this might happen to the N4 too? The article says it might be launching at Google I/O which is less than a month away.
Should I wait another month and see what happens or got ahead and get it now?

This makes me sick. This is companies testing how stupid consumers can get. I made a post when the nexus 4 first came out stating that they will do this. "Hey let's make a ****ty amount of storage and months later release the same exact phone with more space" why? People people will gladly throw their money at it. People need to open up their eyes seriously

Will be the same case as Nexus 7 !?

The rumor going around is not only will it have 32gb but will also have Key Lime Pie first. So really at this point you might as well wait if you are patient enough.

I not trying to get the 32gb version. I just want a price drop of the current 16gb I'm originally going to get.

Who knows, the other rumor going around is that a new Nexus 7 will be announced at a price point of $150. So if that is true that a new one with better hardware is released at that price range then have no reason to drop the price or remove the old ones off the play store.

I doubt it will have LTE (unless the just reenable band 4) but I could see 32gb, not a big deal it's 6mos. after release.

Get it while its hot this machine is great even with its storage limitations which help me take the leap to cloud storage which is cheaper than SD cards anyway

I'm on the same boat. Was gonna buy a N4 this week but will hold till May to see if this rumor is true. What I find difficult is the addition of LTE without carrier involvement (see Verizon GNexus) and if the carrier is involved it most certainly will not be sold for $350 - $400 off contract.

Hopefully they do a different design and also with better camera. Got bored with the current one and need some new design on the nexus. Also throw in lte and higher storage. Don't do CDMA as usual because Verizon sucks.

The best thing for you to do is just wait after google i/o... they probably aren't going to release anything before, I wouldn't risk the money when you can save some if you get it after they announce an update n4 or the next nexus

I love how everyone in this thread is taking this article as gospel.
What would be the point in disabling LTE if they are just going to re-enable it?

Nexus 4 or save for GE S4

Ok guys I have been having this debate in my head for about a week to get the nexus 4. Now they announced a GE S4 and im all messed up lol. I really have no experiebce with pure android and am really interested in getting into the dev community. Do I shell out around 700 (taxes and shipping) for the s4 or go for the nexus 4? Just looking for some peoples input and thanks in advance.

I am currently a Nexus 4 owner. I just ordered a 16GB AT&T Galaxy S4 for $175 which I should get sometime next week. As soon as I get it I plan to sell it for $550-$600. I will then use this money to justify buying the Galaxy S4 Google Edition. I will then also sell my Nexus 4 for $250 or so.
I love the Nexus 4 but there is no question that the Galaxy S4 GE is better. I love the beautiful screen, the high def camera, the big screen, the feel in your hand, and I even like having a physical home button. That being said I don't think I would pay $650 for the phone straight out but by using my upgrade and selling it I can justify spending that much money.
If you do decide to get the Nexus 4 I am selling mine which I have only had for a few months. It's in brand new condition and I have the original box and all. Let me know if you are interested...

Yes, my upgrade was not until September but I called AT&T retention center and was asking them how much it would be to cancel my line and they offered to upgrade me early to the GS4 for $175.

What's the difference between an at&t gs4 and the GE if you just flash a custom ROM on the at&t one?

Maybe nothing but I am not taking that chance. There is no confirmation that the AT&T phone and the Google Edition phone will have the same hardware. It seems more likely that the GE phone will be like the TMobile AT&T phone which is slightly different. I am sure there will probably be ports to the Google Edition but I want a phone that was made to run stock android and phone that is supported directly by Google with the bootloader already unlocked.

Where can I find one

I'm on Verizon and I can't find this phone anywhere but Verizon stores. Nowhere on line. Even went to best buy and even Walmart. I've been to 2 Verizon store and neither would sell me the phone out right? I felt really stupid in the store trying to buy a phone at full price and was being denied. Will best buy and amazon eventually carry it? You can't even but the phone from Verizon s website without changing my plan. I currently have unlimited.

I just walked into a Verizon corporate store and bought one, they said I was the first sale of the day and I went in yesterday at 4PM.

Good luck! I was posting something and then read another thread talking abut backorders at Tmobile which I hope isn't for long but I am happy for LG and want this phone to sell tons so we get plenty of support for it as opposed to the Optimus G.

I got one! Went a town over and the service team at that Verizon store was very kind! They were laughing at my data usage and said I was making the smart move in paying full price. sold me the phone and a case with no probs

Note 4 was stolen...buying another one 4>5

My Note 4 was recently stolen. I've been using my daughter's old S3 until the N5 came out. from all I've read, it's not that much of an upgrade. My wife is struggling with not having an SD card. She's constantly having to delete pix and movies.
Today I purchased a nice N4 on ebay. It should last me another year until the N6 comes out. Hopefully, Sammy will come to their senses and give us back the removable storage.

Did you have reactivation lock with Samsung account ? If you did whoever stole it has a brick if you didn't then well someone will have a working phone on every carrier but verizon and tmobile if you reported it as stolen.
