Hi guys, first I wanna say data speed isn't a problem for me. I want to buy the international version but the thing is I hate ordering online if there's a problem with the phone it's gonna be hard for me to exchange it. But by buying S3 US version I could just walk in tmobile store and exchange if there's a problems with the phone.
What's your suggestions on this matters? Should I just buy US version of S3? I really want to try out Samsung quadcore :'(

I think you could buy a secondhand warranty like square trade and others. But I have not tries them personally. I always too cheap and just took my chances, living life on the edge you know. Haha. But seriously you may want to check those out, just an idea.

99% there won't be any problem unless you are really unlucky. I have been buying new unlocked smartphones from the last 2 years and never had problems except for once which had a dead pixel. I got that exchanged from online seller without issues. Granted I don't keep phones for long but you should be fine.
Have you had problems with your phones before regularly and had to exchange? If yes then may be you find faults easily and better to go with US version, if not international should be fine .... So make a call based on your past experiences.

Nobody knows but why the panic?
Its not gonna sell out on the first day, people thought this with the nexus 7 pre-order.
.... Yet all orders from the first WEEK were in the 1st wave of dispatches.

So were pre-orders for the Nexus 7 started at midnight?
I would think there to be a tremendous difference in demand between a lame ass 7" tab and a quad core 2gb mobile phone with the latest hardware priced insanely cheaper domestically than elsewhere. Insanely cheaper, period.
Never know but I don't expect the 16gb Nexus 4 to last 5min.

Well there ya go. Part of me didn't want to post it as to steer people away from bringing down the site, but meh, I'll be optimistic that Google has enough stock + demand isn't THATT high.

Why?
Only people who follow these tech sites know about the Nexus 4 here in the UK, no tv, radio, newspaper articles have been shown.
We also get stock from a totally different country to US orders.
For the mast majority, only people who go into an O2 store will know about it, and their stock differs from the playstore stock.

What does spam f5 mean and what kind of info should you have ready?
I have already bought stuff from the Google Play store so they have all my details. I figured I would just sign in well before midnight and when the Nexus 4 became available I would select it to buy.

Assuming you're serious, spamming F5 means quickly and repeatedly pressing the F5 key on the keyboard, to constantly refresh the webpage in hopes of it letting you order the phone

I thinking the UK is going to be the easier place to get a midnight order done. There have been no ads or whatever as someone in this thread has already said. Also, here in the UK the majority of people buy off contract phones so this one isn't going to be that different. But on the flipside in the US there is a massive LTE network that you wont be able to access and that will cut the amount down quite a bit. I'm guessing they will sell a lot but I don't see it selling out...... unless they start running ads after they open the site to orders.

I personally will not because it's just wayyyy to ridiculously big in my opinion lol. The new features look pretty damn sick though not gonna lie!

Agreed, just far too big to consider for a phone I'd be willing to carry around. Nice features, and I'm sure it's a great device. But I'm not into Phablets.
If I was due for an upgrade would for sure consider it just because of hardware/functionality. Think I would get used to the size as long as the screen looks nice. However, with the S4 and Note 8 I would not be gaining much if anything.
Not me. While I would love to own one, I don't hate money enough to pay full price for a relatively marginal upgrade three months after getting a phone I am very happy with.
My upgrade date is in December. I'll probably sell the S4 and get a Note 3 then. I think it looks amazing, expecially the multitasking features, not to mention the Snapdragon 800 and 3 gigs of ram. I don't mind the size at all.

I'm extremely happy with my S4 but will definitely take a look at the Note 3. It's a bit big but the features that they have shown in their promo video seems like something I could use.
I'm on that beast the day it's released. The Note 3 is more powerful than most laptops. Love everything about it and finally Samsung increased the internal storage along with everything on the phone. After market accessories will be a plenty. Thank You Samsung.

I'm with ya. I'm trying to sell my phone and accessories in preparation for the release.
I personally wont be getting it but my wifey and mom will be picking them up. The size doesn't really matter for them since they carry their phones inside their purses.
As for me, I'm gonna wait for the redesigned S5.
Gonnna wait for samsung galaxy s5.. or nokia if they ever come out on the sprint carrier

Well I have 3 lines and I get all the upgrades so my s4 will be off to my gf and I be getting the note 3 . I might have to wait til christmas to get it because the xbox one will consume much of my play money.

I'll stay with my S4 it does everything I need it too already. Multitask already have a app for that, Gamepad I use ps3 controller with the sixaxis app, etc etc...
It looks like a a pretty sweet ride, but for what I need my phone for it's just way too big.
The s4 is borderline too big to carry in the environment I work in!

I'll probably be switching to Note 3 when Note 4 is released
I was already at two and a half years on the Epic 4G Touch, patiently awaiting an upgrade to the note 3. Well two weeks ago I got the blue light of death (hard bricked) on my old 4G Touch. So I had to go for another phone and thought I would be very happy with the s4. Well wouldn't you know it two days after I have my s4 reading on XDA of all the awesome customizations and tweak apps I can install on the phone I was very happy that is until the Note 3 specs came out. The rep that sold me the S4 extended my exchange time by 15 days until the 25th of September. He said to contact him or come in before that date and he would extend it again then when the note 3 comes out around October 1st or 2nd he will exchange me into that phone at no charge and swap all accessories I have already purchased for the s4. I really want to note 3 but it is a huge beast to carry around in a working environment and play environment also but I think I'm going to go for it.

It's a very nice device. Nice looks and feel. A Samsung rep brought one into to my work, Best buy a couple days ago. The back feels like leather and the front has kind of a wood grain or brushed look and the one he had, black was actually a dark black not like the S4.

Seems we think alike, I ask the rep if he was going to put that in writing, he printed out a receipt with the new Exchange date, and I've been taking notes to keep them honest. I'll post an update in this thread after a successful exchange to the note 3.

I'm on Verizon and I can't find this phone anywhere but Verizon stores. Nowhere on line. Even went to best buy and even Walmart. I've been to 2 Verizon store and neither would sell me the phone out right? I felt really stupid in the store trying to buy a phone at full price and was being denied. Will best buy and amazon eventually carry it? You can't even but the phone from Verizon s website without changing my plan. I currently have unlimited.

I just walked into a Verizon corporate store and bought one, they said I was the first sale of the day and I went in yesterday at 4PM.
Good luck! I was posting something and then read another thread talking abut backorders at Tmobile which I hope isn't for long but I am happy for LG and want this phone to sell tons so we get plenty of support for it as opposed to the Optimus G.
I got one! Went a town over and the service team at that Verizon store was very kind! They were laughing at my data usage and said I was making the smart move in paying full price. sold me the phone and a case with no probs

So I'm a Samsung Advocate with sprint where every time the new device launches i get it for free as a loaner until the new one is out at which point i turn in my current one for the next one. Went frone Note 3 to S5 and i get the note 4 tomorrow. So stoked! I also get other Sammy perks, at point of launch i will also be getting the Gear S.
I know most people here have no troubles working the ins and outs of the phone but I am here as a resource for those of you who are not as inclined to all the Note has to offer.

We get them as units come in. You generally have one or 2 samsung reps in a market that have to get their units of to advocates. I'm in the outskirts of Phoenix so it takes my rep a little longer to get to us out here

My samsung rep about Sh** his pants as he watched me odin twrp to my phone and flash a custom rom.. he took my s5 back with a funny look on his face..
I left the moar rom on it completely tweaked out so they have a good idea of what i like for the next samsung
