Oh i don't. Couldn't, they are not full roms, incomplete

Well they are just trying to bring that new experience to everyone else. One of the most popular roms for our phone doesnt have 4g or hdmi working, and the ported roms dont have those working + camera not working. It really aint that bad. If you can put up with Cyanogenmod, then you can put up with the other ports.
Cyanogenmod and the ports are all pretty much faster than the stock roms too, so there's a huge plus side right there.

Second when you develop YOUR Desire HD ROM let us know we are dieing for a full working version.
Sorry that the ROMs that are incomplete have put you out. Maybe you should flash stock everything works on it.
Also please try to refrain from post more brainless topics.

I don't know what your talking about the only ROMs that are incomplete are the HD Desire ROMs. ALL of the other ROMs should be complete. I know my ROM is or at least as far as I know it is. You are not everyone, some people don't use the camera and don't live in a 4G area (most of us). So the HD Desire ROMs appeal to them. Quite thinking about yourself for a moment.
Also those "incomplete" desire roms give people like me a chance to star developing new ROMs using it as a base. SO when the camera is fixed we will be ready to rock. I'm sure THAT would be fine with you.
The world is full of other people.. just letting you know.

I am guessing the new ROM your using had everything from the beginning? Camera worked perfect, 4G worked perfect, HDMI worked perfect, no bugs what-so-ever? It doesn't have Sense does it...hopefully not...
Can I know the name of this Rom, if so? And I am guessing its made by you, because who would be stupid enough to bad mouth other people's work that they have done for FREE and because they enjoy it and want to share it with the rest of us.
I really think you should go elsewhere, and stay off XDA. As this site is about helping people, not bad mouthing what these people are doing for us because they want to.

Ok so what do you suggest? Maybe the rom DEVELOPERS, key word devolpers, should hold out on these roms until its completely functional and not give anyone the chance to DEVELOP them and test for bugs and issues? Im sorry but did Apple release a fully working OS for Iphone? Or did Verizon release a fully working Droid rom, or Sprint a fully working EVO rom? Maybe had these companies release fully working products then XDA and custom roms wouldnt exist. The roms are created to give users a better product and make them work the way they should have out of the box. Cyanogen started a 2.2 rom for the hero that had items that didnt work at first but through testing releases and community feedback they got it completely working.
Id like a copy of YOUR completely working rom. Id like to run it for a week and prove theres not a single issue what so ever.
The developers clearly state that its an incomplete rom if theres items not working and clearly tell you what isnt working. They do this to give you the option to test with them or to stay away.
Your post, and Im sure you know this, is the exact reason developers have left here. Maybe you should create your own site, develop your own roms, and forget XDA. Had it not been for here my 3 previous phones and this one would be in the trash because of HTC and Sprints crap software that gave horrible battery life.
Thanks to Fresh's rom Im at 18h 21m and 40% battery left. On Sprints crap I was dead 8 hours. Ill gladly take a developmental rom to get that kind of battery, especially since I havent found anything not working.

Oh get off their nuts. Its been months. You test fully functioning software with bugs and glitches....NOT part of an OS and call it testing. The functions AREN'T there to test

Actually slick, you test the working parts of the rom while developers complete the parts that arent working and release update when their fixed. Have you never been part of a beta community or testing in general? Game developers (Infinity Ward for example) do this before every release. Call of Duty is a prime example. They release partially finished products then finish the remaining aspects.
So how about your rom? It sounds like its the best one ever made.

Ok, your right and I apologize for questioning your abilities as a developer and thinking you actually were as impaired as your posts make you seem. I guess its time to go back to Sprints stock rom and deal with the inability to put out a quality product that doesnt need further developing.
I look forward to the masterpiece youve created and hopefully soon it will be released to show the world what a dominating force you are in the development world.

[Request] Official Multiwindow on Tab 2

Hey guys, as we all now there is a multiwindow feature on the s3/note2.
I would like to have this feature on the tab 2 (10.1) too. Are there any devs who would take a look at it? By maybe porting it?
I saw some apps but don't realy like it.

but not fully fumctional

Supersonic hd is very buggy, i tried it just for the multiwindow and it was a waste of time cause depositefile server is REALLY slow.

I think this feature is kinda complicated to port, since you need to mess up a lot of things in framework (I mean, I don't think it's possible in an easy way like porting to stock without messing up a lot of things).
For example, I like the lockscreen from S3, but lockscreen is something terrible to do inside the framework in this case (yes, I've already tried to port, even for galaxy nexus).

There are 2 Dual Screen apps in Google Play that work well.

im not whining. its a fact. i gave my opinion about the rom cause i tested it and it has bugs. other users in the same section said it also and we are just waiting. i mentioned the waste of time cause of depositefiles, not the rom. i have 2mbps connection at work and it was WAY lower than 256kbps. i test a lot of roms for my devices and i never whine about it. dont judge me for a misunderstanding. i apoligize if i offended you in anyway.
btw i am a programmer, not of this kind of software, but i am, and i know what it takes to do what devs do. have a nice day.

I apologize as well. Lately on my phomes forum there a lot of new people requesting the hell out of stuff and complainimg about everything. I program too at work.

This is not cyanogenmod. Everything is hand codes by rascarlo and not cherry picked like jelly bro. Means instead of getting the code for all the phones cm supports you get only the necessary code. Its a real bare bones ROM. Its only for a select few and an acquired taste.

All ROMs are free. Just flash it and try out the ROM. It's not like once you flash a ROM you can't go back.
Make a nandroid backup, flash ROM + gapps, try it.
Don't like it? Nandroid restore from your backup and it'll feel like you just time traveled.

tarro, thats kind of what i'm getting at. i'm trying to juggle like 3 phone forums (mytouch, hd2 and nexus 4) and its hard to keep up with all the toolkits and ROMs for each when you're not immersed in this every day.
it took me a month to wrap my head around cyanogen, AOSP, paranoid and now rasbean just showed up so i'm trying to educate myself on all these different products.

I think rasbeanjelly is far less modified than CM. It is VERY quick and stable. Not everyone wants all those extras. If you're curious, make a nandroid and flash the ROM.

Rasbeanjelly is a very niche Rom that is heavily themed and customized by Rascarlo to HIS liking. It is very fast, very stable, but also not as customizeable as CM or AOKP. If you like the theme and the way it comes configured it is an extremely nice Rom. However, if you like to tweak every aspect and have tons of goodies you wont like it.....oh, and the blue everywhere takes some getting used to also.

not really. there's a time commitment in going to the trouble to start down the custom ROM path with any phone. i konw this..been doing ROM updates on here since my old SDA.
i just want to know what it is..things like paranoid are NOT just ROMs..they're completely different way of approaching your phone and it would be stupid to flash if you didnt have a basic understanding of what is going on there.
i admit to being a thicky whale omelet, but it took me about an hour of reading before it finally clicked what paranoid did for you.

Then dont juggle between those 3 phones. Its obvious that N4 is the most superior one out of the three. You don't have to keep up with anything. A dev forum is like a shopping guide. You just don't know how to distinguish what makes that ROM popular, just read the features / search on youtube.
They're FREE roms.. just flash and experiment. It's not that difficult. Rasbeanjelly is a minimalistic ROM skinned to be all black.

You don't have to commit anything for a ROM. You just look at it, if it impresses you. Read the last couple pages for user feedback. Still like it? Flash it.
Don't like it? Nandroid restore back to what you were using before.
Go watch a youtube video. People do videos on these ROMs. Basic understanding of what? A lot of roms are identical and "kang" features off of each other and give credit where its due. Even what YOU quoted says that.

my wife has the HD2, my kids have the myTouch phones (christmas gifts) and i wanted to make all 3 phones as nice for them as possible.

Flashing ROMs on other peoples' phone is a huge nono. It puts a responsibility on yourself.
You don't have to update their ROM everyday. They're not "phone nerds" and want their phone to be flashed new ROMs. Some people just want a phone that works out of the box. Not to mention, development for those phones aren't as huge as Nexus devices. myTouch brand has been declining.

the kids got the phones off ebay at christmas; they're capable little devices but i needed to remove the TMOBILE bloat first to make them usable.
the HD2 was retired with cracked glass for ages until i saw the android forum, dusted it off and put JB on it. it was so wonderful i had a guy in town put a new piece of glass on it and she's been loving it ever since.
i don't update their roms all the time; but the point was i have been all over the boards on here getting everyone's phone up and going and can't keep up with it all.
would you disagree i should have left those other phones alone?

You don't need a ROM to remove T-Mobile bloatware. All you need is root access. Development on those devices are vary limited and its hardware is starting to show its age to the point where newer ROMs with newer Android versions actually slow down the phone and a lot of 'hacks' are done to have that particular Android version because HTC/Huawei abandoned support for the phone.
HD2: You kind of went off-topic as my point is that you don't have to maintain all of their devices and keep flashing stuff for them. I'm sure they just want a phone that works and they don't care what Android version is on their phone. Most of the people I know in person don't really care unless they're tech savvy.
In the end to answer your question, Rasbeanjelly is a ROM.
Each ROM has their own features and the developer can choose to implement whichever features they want in their ROM. Some ROMs are minimal, feature-heavy, clean code, themed, 'kangs' (unofficial releases based off their source) with 'cherry picks' (stuff that isnt in their ROM but included their commits that are pending approval or stuff that just simply works)

Everyone, this guy turns out a great ROM. I have Sentinel ROM on my Nexus 4 and it's very, VERY nice. I highly recommend it.

Well everything is working as normal. I played about with the rom it is pretty stable. Everything works, and when i fell asleep unlike cm the battery never drained maybe about 3 percent drain overnight which is great. So the battery life on this rom is excellent. You're good to go with your rom. Sorry for the late reply i installed this around midnight. Used the rom and till about 2am and fell asleep. I am still using it. I must say overall it is a great rom. Thank you very much. I've not yet found a fault but maybe i might find one but that would be cm related.
For a beta rom this is really stable. Onlything maybe it isn't a big problem now but in the ota updater lol it doesn't recognize the device as MO.

First of all I'd like to thank you for this truly amazing rom, there's so many things I can do with my phone and change almost everything I want to within it. I only found 1 issue which may not be an issue at all, I might still be a bit inexperienced with all this modding stuff, but I haven't found a way to overclock or undervolt my phone using your kernel, but I took a risk of using siyah kernel 1.9.1 which is said not to be compatible with 4.2.2 JB and basically all new roms that are out now, but the funny thing is IT DOES WORK! And I think that siyah 1.9.1 kernel and your custom sentinel rom is the best combo ever for my galaxy s3. The battery works great even when I overclock it, it's really stable and never glitching. I can say I'm a heavy consumer, wifi constantly on, and I'm playing psone games with and emulator alot and it still does a pretty decent job. On my next payday I'm definitely donating, buddy. And in a months time when s3 stock 4.2.2 JB will come out, I'd like to see what you can do with that one aswell.

Sorry but it's not something I support in my ROMs. People are alwsys welcome to use other Kernels to unlock these features if they want them.

I understand where you're coming from and I totally agree with you if we users want we can make it ourselves using different kernels especially when your ROM is that great and it accepts different types of kernels. And I've got 5 different types of android machines which could use some improvement so if you're interested and have the time to expand your ROMs through those it would be just awesome. Because your ROM is actually the first custom one I've tried, and after a lot of research I can't seem to trust myself with someone else's

Why are all the custom roms for the Galaxy On5 made for Europeon Variants?

So, I am a little frustrated, and I am sure this has been answered but I cant seem to find the answer.(at least not one that makes sense anyway) . Why on earth are all the custom roms made for European variants of our beloved cell phones? I have spent tireless hours combing through the hundreds of youtube videos, and dozens of forum posts, to only find one single Custom ROM that works correctly for the Galaxy on5 SM-G550T1. (Thank you to czarsuperstar for giving us The Superstarz Rom, You did it right and finished the job.)
I know I am a noob and all and I definitely am no DEV, but could someone please help me and explain this to me like I am a 2 year old. Why is there no US variants of custom mods? Now I have looked up several different phones but to no avail, unless you own a samsung NOTE or S series your just out of luck. And NO, a rom that has no sound is NOT complete, just sayin.
I know that building one of these custom roms is not an easy task, god knows my dumb ass couldnt do it, but if your going to build something, please finish the job, I mean I would never give you a house I built, that was short a roof.

No worries bro I've been porting a rom just for our g550t1 give me little bit because my job barely have time but it will get done. Also I still need to ask for permission befor posting. Just want to make sure everything is right

That is awesome! I really enjoy my on5 and I would really hate to have to buy a different phone. I know it is not high end but it has become part of who i am, so much that I bought a second one for myself just in case some tragedy were to happen to my beloved On5. I am looking forward to your work and hope to further my experience as, what I call myself, a tech geek in training. maybe someday I will be able to build a rom and repay all the ones who have helped me in my journey. Yeah this is the first phone i ever rooted, only new to this bout 2 months. But it is sad that i cant find a sweet ROM for G550T1 mPCS. But it seems that whoever can Master this model will be shiznit. But dying to get rid of this stock ROM.

Well since I posted this there has very little help in the way of getting a ROM made or even ported one for the G550T1, So I figured I would take upon myself to educate myself in the ways of the force. It hasnt been easy but I think I may be close to having an actually working ROM, That has sound and everything, imagine that, sound. Its only taken me what 2 months to gain headway. So, bro keep your head up there may be light at the end of the tunnel yet.

It hasnt been easy but I think I may be close to having an actually working ROM, That has sound and everything, imagine that, sound. Its only taken me what 2 months to gain headway. So, bro keep your head up there may be light at the end of the tunnel yet.

I am so close I just have a few quirks to iron out and I will have completed the 2nd custom ROM in known history for the American variant of the on5. I don't know if it works on the g550t2 but as soon as I am done I will let you know and you can test it out

Im not either but I have done alot of reading and a load of trial and error. I have dedicated every moment I am not at work to creating this ROM. So I hope it will be as badass as I imagined.

Well........I think i may have done it, I hope I have at least. All I need now is a Few Beta testers to give this baby a try and let me know what i could change or improve. Once that is in place I guess It will get released.....any takers?

My friend just handed the on5 off on me a couple days ago. I'm more than willing to blow it up in the pursuit of happiness.

I'll test out the rom if you can send me the link it really does suck that we don't have any roms for this phone also wanted to put out there that I was able to flash a cm13 rom ment for a J5 prime it flashed with no problem but won't boot due to kernel if someone could work that out it would be nice
