Stuck in Boot Loop vs980
I just flashed Deviant vs980 Beta1.1, gapps-kk-20140606 and am now stuck in a boot loop. I tried deviant beta 2.1 and no gapps and still had constant reboots. Basically I'm stuck. In the OP a boot.img was mentioned...is that something that will help this? Right now I'm getting as far as signing onto wifi then it reboots. If I don't flash gapps with it then I can get it booted and after about 30seconds the loop continues.

Youtube
Updated my kernel to Dorimanx but I still can't play videos on youtube . it just loads and then stops nothing but a black screen. I'm on the LS980 and did a clean install

Can't root G2 LS980 after DeviantXone Flash
Spent all night going through ioroot & purpledrake. I finally found stumproot and that worked. I then used AutoRec to flash TWRP. I then flashed liquidsmooth, and then decided to flash straight to DeviantXone instead.
I'm not sure if I should have rooted afterwards or what, I just know that this phone is way harder to work with than any other phone I've had. After I flashed DeviantXone, Stumproot failed, and said my device isn't compatible. Any help would be great, I'm a noob and this is stressing me out.
Oh, I also heard talk about flashing stock firmware, and that that might help to root, but when I tried to download one of the tools, Chrome totally shot me down and wouldn't allow me to download because it was "malware". I know Chrome does that sometimes, but I decided to post before I did something stupid.
EDIT:
I used KingoRoot and it worked. Thanks

i know this is late and u got it rooted but i discovered all u have to do is once youve flashed this rom reenable devoloper options and there is an option to be rooted or not rooted in dev options

Guys, I've tried flashing this on my Nexus 7, several times and every time it fails and gives me an error that says...
symlink some symlinks failed
E: error in /data/media/0/download
status 7
installation aborted.
I've tried using TWRP and CWM with no luck. I have also tried re downloading and I flashed paranoid android successfully.
If anyone could please give me a solution that would be great.

Been having this issue with the last two versions I think, it doesn't seem to matter how many times it's downloaded.
I've tried the remount, unmount solution via TWRP but doesn't seem to be working on my end...
Also did a bit of searching and kinda curious is that problem with TWRP mentioned anywhere else perhaps with a bit more details?
@spaceman860 I cant download link #1, pls fix it. Thanks u.
link problem
The link seems to have a problem with the port, please fix it. Thank you
I think I found a bug, when rotating from portrait to landscape, camera right side, the navigation buttons disappear but not to the left.
hi there, what is the latest DU gapps for lollipop.?
thank you
Anyway to make the camera work on lollipop?
Thanks, much better and smoother than 5.01, thanks for your support.
Installed successfully, but the posted link to the custom Gapps led to it being stuck on the introduction screen with the "checking connection", so I had to find a better version elsewhere. Also: It doesn't charge past 45%, and I turned the power off and let it sit overnight.
Ok this might be a bit newbyish question but please bear with me. I had been running this rom with little to no problems. Dirty Unicorns lollipop 5.1.1 was recently released so I upgraded. I thought I was all set after the first day or so so I stupidly deleted my nand backup of Dirty Unicorns 4.4.4 v8.2. But after a couple of weeks I've decided I really don't care for the lollipop version and I want to get back to this version. So I wiped Dalvik, Cache, System and Data in the latest version TWRP. I then install the 4.4.4 v8.2 zip and everything looks like it installs fine, but when I reboot I get the Google screen, then it goes black, with the backlight on. It never gets beyond that point. I haven't done anything "special" with any settings so I'm not sure what's happening. I am able restore the nand backup of my lollipop install but I cannot seem to install a 4.4.4 at all. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!
Will it work on nexus 2012 with 5.1.1 stock ?
Will it work on nexus 2012 with 5.1.1 stock ?

Overclock
Has anybody had success with overclock on the 5.1.1 ROM? I can't seem to set anything above 1300Mhz. It's pretty fast already but I'm a speedfreak.
Awesome work though, love the ROM.
*note* I would post to the actual thread but...

Is there a ROM that works for Tilapia (N7 3G 2012)?
Thanks!
Hey monfro i made an xda account because your work sped up my nexus 7 greatly. I want to say thank you! When i first got my nexus 7 it was really fast, and i rooted it and tried some roms but the stock android was always smoothest. 2 years later now this tablet is really slow, although gaming is still good, internet and scrolling was getting frustrating. I was running 4.4.4 it was laggy then i went to 5.0.2 it was unusable. I looked up how to make it run faster and found out about the f2 filesystem and gave it a try.
I couldnt get it working until i used the info in your thread and rastas rom, tried a couple f2fs roms that i couldnt get working but this thread made it easy. Had it for a few days now and it Runs great now. Im typing this because when it booted today it ran faster than i ever seen it. Was a little confuzing trying to convert the filesystem as some of the info about the custom recovery was outdated on xda, i already had a recovery that supported f2fs and didnt know it. I messed a lot of things up and bricked my tablet after messing around trying to intall a bunch of older custom recoveries and different roms.
Luckily with wuzfresh toolkit i was able to unbrick and reinstall and re root and install newest twrp, once i did that i just converted all filesystems and flashed the rom and supersu and g apps. G apps wouldnt flash on your stock rom as filesize was too large already and i couldnt root it for some reason but rastas worked. Glad i got it here because rastas only hosting his lollypop roms. i dont want any lollipop roms on this device lollypop sucks right now, and is unusable on the 2012n7. Got the rom from your thread this tablets running real smooth now.
Only problem is there is a lot of ads on xda for mobile not sure why but im getting popups and captcha left and right. Im posting from the tablet, gonna stay using xda on my computer from now on. But thanks for your contribution im gonna lock this tablet at 4.4.4 f2fs. Great to have people like you helping all the nexus 7 owners, this is still a decent tablet and a great sized tablet
Wich is the procedure to follow to install this rom and format nexus 7 on F2FS? Is that filesystem really faster? Thanks

Problems with baseband
Hi!
So, about a year ago I bought this P700 from a guy I met, it had stock rom and my boyfriend put cm10.2 to try and make it better... From then on I've been on a roll, ROM after ROM to try and make it better. None worked so far, every one of them is very laggy and almost all apps FC - also I can't flash most kernels because phone gets on bootloop. I tried Slimbean build 2.2 (4.3.1) and it's the second best so far, apps FC but almost no lag. When I flash recommended kernels (for example the one for cm10.2 from tudorsirb and the TeamHackLG Experimental one for 4.3.x) phone gets stuck on bootloop.
THEN THIS ROM HAPPENED!! It's really great, and everything works fine, except for the things that a phone is supposed to do (calls, messages). I tried flashing most of the basebands - I'm in Portugal so I thought v10k would work because it worked for other ROMs, but it didn't work for this one - even tried the spanish one hoping for a miracle. I can't find the v10I baseband anywhere but the others aren't working! I even flashed through KDZ and it didn't work.
So basically, if anyone has any suggestions I would apreciate it since this is the only functional ROM so far....
Also if anyone has a link for V10I, I read somewhere it might work...
Thanks in advance!! And sorry for bad english.

Would you be so kind to explain what bumped means? No need to go into detail as I'm familiar with most of the concepts but I
have yet to find a definition of BUMPed.
(Yes I have googled, so please don't bother with lmgtfy )
Thanks for your toolkit, btw!

hi bro
I can use toolkit for lg g2 docomo l01f ?
It's not good idea to use it with another model than D802. Version V2.1 will allow you.

Yes, but it's difficult, because Toolkit is able to bump boot.img before installing, but magisk modify Your current boot.
I found script which allow You to bump currently boot.img. So at the begining You flash magisk, and before You will've leaved recovery, You should flash this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/cbump-bump-current-boot-image-t3325186

Hey I flashed this Rom and and I dunno if its just my tablet or Android 5.0 but for some reason...My GoPro (3+ Black) will not connect to my N10. I have researched it all I cant find out why it wont connect. Im to the point where I feel as if its Android 5.0. I'm runny 4.4.4 on my Note 3 and it works fine...It also works on my G. Nexus runny 4.4.2 and it also works on my iPod...but it will not connect to my N10. Does any the slightest idea as to why? Does anyone on here even own a GoPro and has run into this problem? This issue has happen on this rom and on Team UB rom...so I'm thinking its not the rom but the OS thats not working well. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, i am from Belgium, when i enable 4G it connects, and it works fine, but there some kind of bug.
With 3g, i can get speeds over 700 kb/s, but with 4G, i only get speeds of 20kb/s.
Is this bug known, or is there a solution for it?
can't flash the 2.3 version
I'm using the 2.2 version right now, and i'm almost happy with it. The only thing, i want to add - to activate the battery fast charge. Is it possible?
And the second issue: i have the last CWM installed. And i can't install the 2.3 verison of BlissPop. At the stage of "wiping caches" the tablet reboots, and get stuck in an endless boot process. Can you help me?
