If you are asking if it has wireless charging, then no it does not.
And I'm pretty sure that wireless charging has nothing to do with NFC. Those are two different technologies.

Why do you want to disable it
Doesn't charging the battery frequently decrease the battery life?? I mean whenever I need to transfer a file from the pc to the sd it starts charging won't that affect the battery??
Sent from my LT15i using xda premium
I thought that a frequent charge is better for the battery..
That was with the old batteries, when a chargenof 5% counted as one full charge.
On the new ones 20x5% (100%) counts as a full charge so don't worry.

I don't really know if this works, never tried and won't do.

EDIT:
If anyone have tried this, could you please give a feedback?

Phone discharging even when plugged in?

Anybody else seeing that even if your phone is plugged in it will continue discharging if you are using it?
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
Isn't this always the case? My understanding is that the phone is always powered by the battery and not the plug. If your using the phone and using more power than the charger is supplying then the phone will discharge accordingly. Could be wrong but that's always how I thought it worked.

This is the first phone I've had that discharges when being used and pluhed in....

What's your battery life like? You may have some issues with software maxing out the CPU.
Anyway, the One X battery can run out when using navigation software and on car charger (maybe 0.5A).

What are you using the phone for when it is discharging? Also, are you using stock AC charger or car charger?
Battery life seems fine, i am basically just browsing the web and watching a few yoitube video's, i am usin a 2A car charger.

Can you please try and replicate the same problem with the stock charger? 2A seems fine but just to be sure..
Yeah i will try when i get home from work.

I ran into that when I was using a under rated charger or just plugged into a USB port. Official chargers (or equivalent) didn't have that problem it was slower if I was constantly using it while charging, but it did it.
Playing games, navigate, heavy tasks - looses percentage.
Browsing,messaging, mailing,etc - The battery charges.

I believe this is correct. Whenever I used my Lumia 920 for gps+music on a cheap car charger, it would always discharge faster than it would charge. This is because 1) 12V-car/usb chargers charge at a slower rate than AC chargers and 2) some cheaper car chargers output even lower than normal USB charging rates.
Shopping for a new mobile/car charging solution for my Asus TF300T (gonna use for GPS.. tethered to my HTC One) and my HTC One, i ended up getting this multi-use charger. Initially, i was going to get this high power charger just for usb (which is the first charger on amazon i've seen to output 18 W / 3.6 A), but wanted a more unified solution that I could plug both my One and TF300t into. Because I'll be using the tablet for GPS+music, I can tuck the phone away charging at a tolerable rate. Oh, a direct 12v car charger to HTC One will charge the fastest if that's what you're looking for.

Fast Charge?

Is there a way to fast charge the Galaxy S4?
I believe that feature needs to be built into the kernel for it to work. The "secure settings" app in the market lists fast charge as a custom rom option, but I could be wrong.

Mine charges at a little over 1% a minute as it is. How fast do you expect it to charge?

That's what I was going to say. I'm amazed at how fast it charges.
Qualcomm has what it calls quickcharge built into their snapdragon chips. The s800 is supposed to charge faster than the s600 too!

I have the original stock charger but I was charging the S4 with my computer and I noticed that the rate was much slower.

Computer chargers are only rated to deliver 500 ma of current while the Samsung charger that comes with the phone will deliver over 2 amps. Basically the wall charger outputs out over 4 times as much power vs. computer usb ports.
My s4 with stock wall charger (2.1a) charges insanely fast. Much more so than my s3.

Why is my pc charging always "slow"

I have a rooted LG G2 on Sprint (LS980) and anytime I plug it into my laptops USB port (3.0 or other) I get the slow charging symbol. Any ideas to the cause?

Maybe its because your pc isn't capable of the 2000 mAh that the original charger provides, neither 1000 mAh what a normal charger has. My USB hub also gives the slow charging, it just gives around 500 mAh I think, that's why your phone says it's charging slow

Usb 2 is 500mv and USB 3 is 800mv.
I'm mot actually sure where the limit to "slow" charging starts but it is likely around 1000mv

The wall charger adapter that came with my phone showed about 400 mA when charging. This is the same USB that came with my phone too. I've also tried it on my Xbox one and still got less than 15 mA.

I have Dorimanx 5.5 and there are tweaks that can fake the USB charging as A/C charging.

That will get rid of the slow charging notification but it won't make it charge faster is it's getting 500mv it will only ever get 500mv.

Usb 2 can only supply 500 mv no amount of tweaking will change that.
Sure you can turn on "fast charge" and it will say it's connected to ac but it will still only charge as much as the thing you are charging it from can supply.

yea.. wear and tear condition.. try replacing the USB cable (high quality).. and test it again with USB volt meter...
I've had both the adapter and the cable go bad, so you'll have to check both.

What do u meant by 'go bad' ? Do the refused to charge or charge at a very slow rate?

One adapter that would not charge at all, two cables that stopped doing fast charge but would still slow charge.
