There has been a lot of people confused about the Galaxy Note 4's release date for Verizon Wireless. The Galaxy Note 4 will go live on Oct 17 in stores for ALL carriers including Verizon Wireless. Verizon Wireless will be shipping for those who ordered online the Galaxy Note 4 on Oct 23. Verizon has confirmed this in September and online posts all point to what is stated. In store 17, Mail by 23.

A guy in the other preorder post said he was a former manager at a VZW store and is still in contact with the people who work there. They said preorders will arrive by the 17th, that is what the regional sales manager said. Obviously there is conflicting information. Hopefully the 17th predictions are correct! Just give us our damn phones already

people like OP are going around trying to get people's hopes up so they're riled up when the 17th comes and goes with no damn phone.
since pre-order in september, verizon's website has stated 10/23. that's literally DAY ONE. it's NEVER changed. idk why people would think otherwise; verizon has released phones later than other carriers for the past 4 years. S3, S4, Note 2, Note 3.

Just spoke with a buddy who manages a local Verizon and he told me that the store release date was pushed back to the 23rd. So it looks like we are stuck waiting.

How can something be pushed back when Verizon always stated 10/23?? People took a generic Samsung statement about a "live" date of 10/17 and presumed Verizon would break character for an Android launch. They are always late to the party and never said 10/17. Two weeks ago I was told by both Verizon and BB 10/23. Nothing got changed but reality setting in

This article say exactly the opposite. It will NOT be available in Verizon stores until the 23rd.

You said pre-ordered, you mean on the website? Those are not shipping out yet. The only people who have them are the people who backed the Kickstarter last year.
If I'm reading this right and you pre-ordered it on there website (or affiliate like Amazon), it doesn't ship until June 25th, which means you should get it sometime between June 28rh and .July 5th (give or take).

Who did you pre-order it from?
Well I preordered in September via the website and only just got notification a few days ago that it had reached the distribution centre and that I will get it in next two weeks.

Yeah, they pushed it back to June due to manufacturing times being longer than expected. Being such a brand new company, the fact that they are not only shipping out the product with only a few months delay AND the product is really good (personal opinion) shows a lot. I would support this company in any further projects they do.
I got this email from OUYA on the 8th of June.
"Yep... it’s true.
Your OUYA has arrived at our distribution center and we expect it to land on your doorstep within the next two weeks (give or take a day or two depending on your location).
Be on the lookout for a confirmation email that will follow once your shipment has been picked up for delivery and which will include your personalized tracking number."
I still have not received my confirmation email or any kind of tracking number, but it should be here around the 22nd according to the email.

Two weeks ago they reply to my email and claimed that my shipping address was wrong. but I haven't heard anything from them since then yet.

I preordered February 5th which was the last day to get "an April shipment". However, they sent me an email 8 days ago saying its on it way and I'd get the tracking number shortly, but havent gotten one yet.
I would sure hope all preorders are filled before retail.

I preordered 9th September got email 11th June saying dispatching, another email with tracking on 15th with estimate between 18th june and 8th july.
Doesn't track yet but was dispatched via dhl packet plus which dhl claims 3-8 days for European deliveries.
Your not much different to me it seems given 5 month difference in preorder.

Eeeek. I'm beginning to think even the June 25th launch may be in trouble. Unless they're basically pushing all the units to the retail channels and making the pre-orders/Kickstarters wait, since we have already paid - the "screw those guys" mentality.
I was not a Kickstarter backer, but just a pre-order customer. I ordered mine in late January or early Feb. Just got my tracking number today. It says it will be here between June 20th and July 10th. I will let you know when I get mine.
Sorry to hear about the people who ordered earlier than me, and have not received any information. I emailed them in early May about the April ship date, and it took about a week for them to respond saying that they had my order, and I was not forgotten. I thought they had forgotten about me too.

Ya I was a early kickstarter backer and I think they sent a bum tracking number a while ago and that doesn't even include the extra controllers. They really suck at supply chain management.

I received my tracking number on the 10th this month. 10 days ago. Needless to say that I am still waiting.
As far as I am concerned the whole Kickstarter idea was good. Bad management however forced them to stockpile wholesale orders before Kickstarter backers all had their OUYA. Backers could have accepted, grumbling, any delays as long as they were supported by proper communications. Sadly OUYA's communication skills are even worse then their management skills. And from what I read, their programming leaves a lot to be desired as well.
This was my first Kickstarter project that I backed, and I am very disappointed by how this is all working out.

They posted a blog entry yesterday which stated "T-5 Days To Launch". So some of us will probably have to wait 4 more days until shipping.
I've cancelled my order, I'm going to buy on the day of release.
I pre ordered in January and never heard anything from them. I E-mailed them 2 weeks ago and they replied back after 10 days stating they had trouble verifying my shipping address, so I wouldn't receive it until after release day.
The ouya support is a massive turn off. It feels like the setup is being run from a teenagers garden shed with a couple of friends helping out when they finish their paper round.
Are these people meant to be professionals in their field?!
I wonder how long until I receive my refund...

I was a day or two away from trying to cancel my order when I got the email saying that my order was at the warehouse ready to be shipped. I keep trying to track it, but it still has not shown up on the dhl site yet. The email said writing 24-48- hours it would be trackable, but it is still not there yet, even after 72 hours. Hopefully it comes soon, won't be much of a pre order if it comes after it is available in stores.
Very bad customer service on their part.

A number of the Korea and China market devices have already been rooted; however, there's no guarantee those methods will even work for the Verizon device until its released and people have an opportunity to fiddle with it.
Also, right on VZW's site it says the 23rd. No reason to doubt that. There's no requirement for multiple carriers to release a device all on the same day, no matter how annoying that might be.
I agree that the rooting of those Asian phones may be of no help to us.
The 23d is two weeks away! The store has ads pushing note edge.
T-Mobile started sending those who pre ordered, text messages that their devices have shipped.
why dont you go for t mobile rather than verizon? they already giving who had pre ordered.

After he looked into his computer, he informed me that the release date of the phone was Oct. 17th... and that the date on my Pre Order receipt which was listed as Oct. 23, was in fact the latest ETA in which I may receive my device. But I've also been hearing rumors that the US could get its shipment a few days earlier than the 17th... I hope those rumors turn out to be true
Considering that Samsung prints an exclusion for Verizon, and states everything prior to the 23rd is a PRE order, its not likely they are showing up until then.
Other carriers will have it on the 17th, so we have to wait.

I have faith. Even as I ordered in store the guy told me they give that date out just to cover themselves. He seemed very confident I would receive it sooner. I'll only know when I notice they charge my card for the remaining balance I have after using my wifes $200 promo from her iphone 6.
I finally got my pre-order done through Best Buy local store after much hassle and run-around (see my other posts in the Best Buy Promotion... what is going on thread).
Anyhow as of yesterday when I completed the pre-order in person and purchased the $50 gift card, I was specifically told they were getting ALL pre-orders in on the 17th and expect it then.
With what all I've been through with a lot of mis-information mainly based on their trade-in policy and pre-order availability in the past week and a half, I'm not holding my breath for that date in reality. :silly:

That is true. The only date I have heard from Verizon is 10/23 and Best Buy are now saying the same thing. My guess is some BB staff and customers assumed that since the other devices are around 10/17, must be the same for VZW.
Verizon has never deviated from 10/23 and Best Buy had no date until last week. Ditto for the $200 terms that specify contract-only for the Best Buy offer. That popped up early last week too.
The Galaxy Note 4 goes Live on Oct 17 for all carriers in store. Verizon ships the Note 4 on Oct 23. Verizon confirmed this in September.

Same here. Pre ordered on Feb 27th.
My credit card showed an authorization amount for my purchase for several days but Best Buy let it expire without billing. My order status still shows "awaiting authorization" as well. (I ordered on release day)

best buy is calling people to pickup in store orders tomorrow..so they better ship it tomorrow!
mine is still as processing as well
so, i just talked to a rep on CS. he told me at first that i should have it by the 11th, then said, hold on, and checked into my status saying that it was requested to ship today, the 6th. he then said to just keep an eye out on the account to see if it ships.
oh and i just checked, the free SD card is updated to preparing for shipment, but the rest are still as pre ordered. he said they all have hte same status on his end though, so he thinks the site is just still updating. cool.

Where do you live? That might have something to do with it. From what I can tell, people in outside the US seem to be getting November dates were as people in the US like myself, seem to get end of October dates. I ordered mine this past Friday (2 days after they went on sale) and got an October 27th through October 30th arrival date. Not that I think delaying international purchases is right, just an observation.

The UK mate, previously it has been 1 month for google to get shipments out to the us and uk generally were at the same time for people who ordered early, instead i ordered early this time and it seems people who ordered 2 days later in the us are getting them in oct! The UK has been well and truly shafted this time even though we're paying more it's bollocks tbh.

Exactly that's what i mean, they've had a whole year to develop the pixel 2 and they're still **** on shipments, it's the one major think I can't stand about Google's release policies.
Finally a real waiting room to pass the time!! I ordered my panda 64GB at 1:22 PM EST and have a delivery date of Nov 14- 15

Yep that's exactly what I've got.
I ordered mine in Romania (3rd party retailer QuickMobile) and waiting for it, I have to wait until november, this month is gonna be loo00oong!

The release date was announced as the same in the US and UK etc, but you are correct it seems as per usual for Google product launches the US buyers are receiving estimated arrival dates prior to the actual product release date (around the 18-30th of Oct for the 2XL in both colour/size(s)).
I ordered the 2XL Penguin during the stream about 10mins before Mario said the orders were live and have a delivery date of the 15th November in the UK.

Can't wait for the phone but yes this is just not good from Google, as if the wait wasn't long enough we get shafted by another 2 weeks, i just can't understand why devices weren't manufactured weeks ago ready for the launch.

We have to remember that Apple has similar long waiting periods. My mom ordered the iPhone 7+ the day it was announced and she received it just before Thanksgiving. So Google isn't the only one who can't fulfill initial orders. And they are guestimating that the iPhone X will have trouble fulfilling orders through summer of 2018!
Ordered mine on Friday, estimated ship date is Oct. 25th.
Ordered my Pixel 2XL (128 GB, Black and White) on the 4th, at 10:23 PDT. Delivery November 8th-9th. I'm not complaining, but I was hoping with 2 different manufacturer's, some of the delay time might be eliminated. Maybe it's more of a distribution side issue, than supply. Kind of reminds me of when I was a kid, and had to wait for Saturday morning, to watch cartoons. I don't think I would have such great memories, if they were available 24/7 like they are today. Anticipation can be a good thing. With that being said, give me my damn phone... Ha ha.

Anybody familiar with Samsung Pre-orders? All the Carriers and Best buy will have them on the 8th. Samsung says will be shipped by the 15th. Are they normally that far behind? If they dont ship til the 15th it's gonna be a long 2+ weeks waiting I already have 6 cases here lol. I'd buy from the carrier or BB but getting $550 Trade for a Note 8 is something i cant pass on. Then i switched to Verizon and am getting $250 Mastercard = $199 for the $999 128GB S10+. I went ahead and got the Verizon version instead of unlocked knowing if things stay the same I can flash unlocked firmware if i want to. But flashing carrier firmware on Unlocked (U1) leaves you losing a lot of carrier features (Wi-Fi calling, VoLTE, Video Calling) I dont know why the carriers do that. I can disable any and all bloatware on the carrier Firmware with package disabler apk to make it as clean as the unlocked but not lose anything. Plus the Unlocked version is always way behind on updates. I think it was my s8+ or s9+ that was 4 months behind on security updates.
Mine will be here on Tuesday, 5 Mar. I ordered the S10+ as soon as Sprint opened pre-ordering. I can't wait to throw my S7 Edge against the wall.
Received notification from T-Mo on Saturday (3-2) that my S10+ will arrive on Monday. T-mo almost always gets their's early so we can gloat over the big boys.
I'm actually pissed because the email they sent me for preorder guaranteed delivery by the 8th but aftee I ordered the scheduled ship date isnt until March 22nd!?! I contacted customer service and they were responsive at first, they told me they would escalate my inquiry and someone would get back to me. Havent heard a word since, I'm essentially on ignore! Even went through the customer service inquiry process again and never received a response back. If the carriers offer a similar trade in for my s9+ I'm cancelling my order with Samsung. I hate when a company thinks their too good to respond to customers. Apple has the same customer service issues smh

I just ordered last night, I got a 3/15 ship date. I ordered an AT&T device. I could get it from the carrier sooner according to ship dates but I'd lose the $130 store credit. Hoping it may ship sooner.
I preordered a Verizon 128gb Prism Black S10+ on 2/21 from Samsung and I got shipping notification this morning for delivery this Wednesday.

ugh I ordered my S10+ 128GB T-Mobile on 2/22 and no shipment info yet. Still gives me the option to cancel my order on Samsungs website. Says will arrive before 3/15.

I ordered mine from bestbuy and got 650 trade in for my s9+ a week ago. I was told they would mine on 3/8. I wanted the unlocked version without att crap.
Got an email that mine is due to arrive 3/6. (VZW)

Now their telling me the prism white is out of stock and delayed, I have never run into this kind of issue with Samsung I have owned many of their products... but these locked down phones and their horrendous customer service wreaks of Apple and I think I'm officially done
